Okay ladies, my daughter will be 2 months old on Monday, I am just wondering how many ounces should she be eating? She eats strictly breast milk if that changes anything. Thank you!

If you only breastfeed once a day you have a higher chance of losing milk production all together.. Your bony makes as much milk as baby drinks breast feeding is how you keep milk production up.. So stay hydrated and breastfeed as much as you can..

Breastfeeding class is wrong, you should do one breast per feeding. It helps regulate milk production better letting them do one side at a time.

Hi ladies, my milk came in yesterday, quite a lot I made add and I have been pumping ever since. Brandon is being lazy again and not latching on as much as I'd like to. You can always pump as much as ur able to and freeze it and do both formula and breast milk but ultimately if you dont produce enough to feed him then formula will be best so that you know hes eating enough

Are you sure you've run out? Or that baby is still hungry? Try massaging the breast you're feeding on, it will help bring down more milk. Baby's stomach is so small at this point (like a grape) and it can't expand so she only needs literally drops of colostrum.
