Its always good to take a multivitamin, it just insures that your body is getting enough nutrients, i am going to assume that like during pregnancy, your body directs nutrients to baby, and to your milk, so it is important to replenish those nutrients so baby gets more as well. As far as milk production goes, i pump too. Pumping is not as effective as regular breastfeeding, but since i cant breastfeed i dont have very much milk and have to resort to formula sometimes.

My mom breast and formula fed my little brother and he was a very healthy baby. And child, and now adult. He's kind of jerk though, but I don't think that had anything to do with the formula feeding. Lol.

Breast milk is milk. Not like the one we buy From the shop and have on cereal or in our tea. Our bodies produce milk when we are pregnant its the most natural way of feeding our little ones. Of course its up to you weather or not you decide to breastfeed me personally I am going to breastfeed if I can do. Its not as easy as it looks. Our bodies produce enough milk supply for our babies to have a full feed and when they are full they come away from the breast.

My baby will turn 1 year old in two weeks. I'm not sure if I should continue with breast milk or should I give her whole milk. I second responses. If you are concerned, formula can be given, but don't be worried, baby will be fine as long as you religiously latch him/her on a schedule this way it gets the milk supply going. It will be uncomfortable at first and I probably cried for a week BC my nipples were raw, but it is worth it... Don't give up... Breast milk is so much better and cheaper!!!!
