I have been experiencing for about 3 years now a metallic smell in my nose. It comes and goes. I have been to Ear,Nose and Throat doctor and he cannot find anything. Try someone else offering the bottle to him, because you smell like breast milk. Also taste the milk if you offering formula, because breast milk is sweet, a lot of formulas taste horrid! Mostly I found it was just perseverance.
If you dr has no problems with his poo-ing patern the don't force a change. It could cause problems where once there wasn't any.

I posted before i posyed my question..... my question is how do you stop or dry up your breast milk. Its been a week and i barelystarted producing milk. I really dont want to breastfeed at all. I have my reasons. And the lactation specialist agreed. She has been on formula since day one. What can i do to dry my milk???
Metallic taste is very normal and could take months to get out of your system completely. Part of this is because of the additives they add to pain killers. A lot of that pill is not just the opiate and those additives can stay in your system a long time and even cause other issues. Your body has been poisoned and even your brain is not going to function right for a while. The things this does to your body is honestly amazing. There are so many things people don't know.
