Avatar n tn She does need to be seen by a vet because if she develops an infection, it can affect her milk and make it impossible for her puppies to nurse, which is going to leave you hand-rearing two puppies with a bottle. Call a vet first thing in the morning and get her in there tomorrow.

Avatar f tn Your breast milk makes antibodies to protect baby. Its not going to hurt the baby to breast feed while sick.
Avatar n tn Actually it helps with acne, type of eye infection a drop or two will help, there are a few things breast milk can help with.
Avatar m tn would saliva/kissing or breast milk from an HIV-positive person can spread HIV infection via that root canal infection in an hiv negative person? There are lot of websites which tell that HIV dont spread through saliva and also breast milk needs to be in large quantity to cause hiv in adult. But considering my case about the root canal, I would like to know the answer. This particular thought is terrifying me a lot. I have lot my stability. I am not able to concentrate on my work.
6692462 tn?1409257870 Guys are so funny, aren't they?!?! Gotta love 'em. The only thing I would look out for is in your later 3rd trimester (about 33+ weeks), nipple simulation and breast feeding can bring on labor. So, I'd hold him off during that time until you are 40 weeks or so.. But yeah, as long as you are comfortable with it, there is no problem with that..
Avatar f tn re supposedly an infection going around in womens breasts making the breast milk unhealthy for the baby has anyone else heard that rumor cuz I plan on breastfeeding my son
Avatar n tn Putting breast milk in the eye is great solution. My son's conjunctivitis cleared up within 24 hours of dropping milk into it.
Avatar n tn I too was getting a lapdance in a strip club, and the stripper squeezed her breast and a single drop of breast milk came out. I then put her nipple my mouth; however, I had a canker sore at the time. I read the response found within the link above, but how does the risk of possible HIV infection change with a canker sore. I know that Dr. Hook stated that, statistically, most exotic dancers are not HIV infected.
Avatar f tn If helps your baby not get sick the first few weeks and also breast milk can heal an eye infection if the baby gets one you can put some in its eye. Your nipples absorb the babys saliva, so if baby gets sick you will make antibodies in your milk to make it better.
Avatar f tn Yep my moms said the same same about the breast milk in the eye!!
Avatar f tn I agree its highly unlikely that its your milk as your milk cant go off, I'm wondering if it maybe his cord and when your feeding you may be getting little wifs of it, sometimes they can get a little smelly, they dont necessarily have an infection but they can smell abit off
Avatar n tn Keep an eye on it. If it starts to get hot or red you could have mastitis(breast infection)which you would need antibiotics for.
Avatar f tn But now I have this burning feeling in my breast and read that it could be a yeast infection. It just started yesterday and today I decided to stop feeding him by my breast and just pump. I'm boiling all bottle and pump supplies for 20min. Do I need to see a doctor or can I get rid of it on my own since it just started? Or is it something else and I'm just freaking out?
280369 tn?1316702041 Did you have antibiotics prior to giving birth? You could have a yeast infection IN you milk ducts...I did and the breast pain was excrutiating! BUT it went undiagnosed for almost 2m because I didn't show any signs on my nipples... Your chills etc sound mastitis-ish though... Maybe a day of rest will help BUT if your breasts keep hurting, see a dr... read this and see if it seems like your symptoms...
Avatar f tn By any chance, are you breast feeding her? Producing good milk? If so, squirt some breast milk in her eye.. your milk has natural antibodies to fight off the pink eye.. And if not, take her to her pediatrician and they'll give her antibiotics. Constantly wash your hands well. Feces particles are constantly in the air, and you'll carry them on your hands after every diaper change, so wash up well! Warm compresses of a warm towel on her eye while she sleeps will help as well.
Avatar f tn They do have drops but took them off the market for over the counter. With four kids of my own and one on the way...i looked up home treatments. I'm never using meds for pink eye again, breast milk cures it over night for the most part!!
Avatar m tn As I stated before, suggest giving your child the daily amounts of food that I wrote in the previous answer. If you are giving him milk as breast milk, then give it in the amounts stated. Your child is underweight and needs to grow. Food is the only way he will grow. The problem with his eye maybe only a muscular issue not diet related.
Avatar f tn He also said for breast feeding moms to drip breast milk in the eye. I thought I would give it a try before bed, and by morning the eye goop didn't come back and it was all better. Boob milk is magic!
Avatar m tn Loss interest in sex ,mood changes,i already have indigestion problems which im takeing meds for but nothing to produce breast milk , and i have low aniema .Can someone please help me. BREAST MILK NOT PREGNANT,HEADACHES EVERYDAY,EYE SIGHT MESSED UP ,TWO PERIODS THIS MONTH.
Avatar f tn My theory is, if breast milk is so much better for a baby than formula, then why do you need to feed a every 2 to 3 hours on breast milk and every 3 to 4 hours on formula? Breast milk is natural, so it can be deemed as "better" and easier on the babys tummy, but formula has a garenteed amount of vitamins and minerals in every serving and as a mommy, i want to make sure my baby is getting all the needed vitamins and minerals in every feeding.
Avatar f tn Sounds gross, but I've heard if you put breast milk in their eye that it clears up almost instantly
Avatar n tn about a week ago i was being curious about still having milk in my breast and squeezed my nipple and a green goo came out of one breast i squeezed the other and it came out normal clear cream. i stoped nursing about 3.5 years ago but still have milk coming out is this normal. the green goo kind of scared me though.
