I had a breast implant operation done in August this year and my left breast healing normal, but my right breast anytime I give my self the massage a few little knots appear under the skin, is not painful, but I am worried, and the thing about it is that I got the procedure done in Venezuela and I live in Trinidad so I cannot see my doctor, I will like to know if this is something serious.
If it is scar tissue, it is removed surgically or excised by your breast surgeon. You could try some warm compresses, breast massage and pain relief medications till then. Let us know whether pain relief medications help in your case. Keep us posted about what your doctor advises. Regards.
It almost feels as though the implants have turned into rocks that are sticking to my chest wall. I massage the implants every few hours and it does give relief for about 60 seconds then I I feel everything start to tighten up again. Is it just too early to be worried? Thank you.
Also, sometimes I am afraid I am hurting what little breast tissue I have left after having three decade old silicone replaced with saline by the vigorous squeezing my doctor recommended. Is it possible to hurt our breasts or implants with improper massage and compression? Thank you for being here.
any advise please Hi i had breast implants but in, in June 07 i was a 32a and had 245 anatomic implants.
Lol that's something that we just have to deal with smh I know some stores I walk in and they just start hurting out of no where like legit pain its horrible !
HI, Various methods can be tried for firming of the breasts. Breast massage and strengthening exercises can help. Breast massage promotes circulation and strengthens the supportive ligaments of the breasts. The pectoral muscles, which are the muscles underneath the breasts, can be strengthened with exercise. Many commercial products that are available some of these products are herbal-based and contain ingredients such as dandelion root, soy, fenugreek, and Indian ginseng.
Try some OTC pain relief medications, breast massage, breast exercises and local application of analgesic for the pain. Do let us know what your doctor tells you. Hope this helps. Good luck.
With massaging and exercising (I personally favor upper body work outs to use the pectoralis muscles and self massage the implants), over time the tightness will likely disappear. If the problem persists after three or four months, then I classify it as capsule contracture.
She seemed in her early thirties and had breast implants, suggesting she's been in the business for awhile. I was wondering, are there any possible transmission of STDs of any kind? Most notably, HIV, HPV and syphilis? Should I get tested in 6 months to see?
Yes I have been using breast massage in combination with a herbal breast cream from thailand and my breast have now really perked up and increased in size. It has only been about 3 weeks. So some herbal supplements do work. Why do so many people knock herbal help and go for 100% chemistry or surgery ???
I have been asking my husband to rub my back and the muscles are obviously twisted up. I do have breast implants and was wondering if it could somehow be related. Ironically, I was just diagnosed with GERD as well. I am 34 years old and other than muscle aches and pains am relatively healthy. I must admit I do always fear the worst; so I have been a little paniced about breast cancer or some other form of muscular cancer. I would love any insight any of you could provide.
She went into surgery for about 45 mins, came out, went home and that was the end of it. Both my sisters now have breast tissue under their underarms and both hate the way it looks. They both had it checked out and the doc told them it was harmless. One sister though has been complaining that it hurts her when she is close to getting her AF so shes going back to the doc to possibly have it removed.
I have had so many failed breast surgerys i am really just about at my end and i still belive there is some one out there that can help me.
that I noticed a dimpled area, but wasn't concerned since I was warned this could happen with implants. Three days later I found out I had stage 2B breast cancer. If it hadn't been for the implants I don't think I would have found it until it was too late. I had just quit my job two weeks prior to finding out my diagnosis. Without insurance I would have put it off for who knows how long. I always did the HCG injections for weight loss and had good luck with it.
thank you. biopsy came back normal. fibrous tissue, which is the same result i had for the same lump when i did a fine needle aspiration last february. of course, a week after the core needle biopsy, that lump is at least 3 times bigger. i'm taking care of it and willing the swelling to go down. i've read a lot about natural ways to treat fibrous tissue and cysts. of course, doctors will never lead us down that road. they'd rather hack away at us and irradiate us.
my left breast is swollen and painful with a knot at the bottom of it. I had breast implants about 2 year's ago. Is this normal?
I had saline breast implants put in about a year and a half ago. I took Cingulair, was vigilant about massage, etc., but my right breast has always been a little harder than my left. I thought that it was under control and had no problems for several months after I recovered from surgery. However, now it is starting to become painful and harder. I massage it as often as possible, and I can feel things "popping" in there when I do that.
Softness following breast implant surgery is related to pocket size in relation to implant size and thickness of the natural scar tissue capsule that lines that pocket. All of these techniques you mentioned have been used (along with appropriate operative care) to maintain a soft result. No one method has been showed to guarantee or maintain a soft result.
I have had confirmation that this pain is likely caused by a torn serratus anterior. I also have breast implants and have gone to see my surgeon to confirm that the implants are not to blame and they are fine. I am wondering what the best treatment is to recover quickly as I use this muscle frequently with massage? Also, will working on the computer exacerbate the injury? I am afull time student and bookkeeper so I use the computer frequently. Please help.
I had saline implants done in 2004. My left breast is soft and looks good, my right breast has capsulated, it is hard, hurts when I sleep on my stomach, when I raise my right arm, I can feel the tightness in the muscle under the breast pulling. Dr. said to massage on a regular basis. If this does not help, may have to go back in and clean out scar tissue and put implant back in.
Ok One more scenario after reading from posts 1 -breast implants/surgery 2- breast piercing? 3- breast mole? poses additional risks?
My breast has increased firmness but with massage seems to be less firm. My breast seems to be more firm right before I start my cycle each month. Is this normal? I am really considering having a masectomy so I don't have to worry about my tests every 3-6 months. Does this make sense to be considering such a invasive surgery. I would have implants if I do the surgery. Any advice would be appreciated.
you would be referred to a physical therapist too most probably so that you are taught certain breast exercises and breast massage. Let us know if you have any doubts and follow up with your doctor regularly after the surgery. Keep us posted. Regards.
I had a preventative bilateral mastectomy with immediate reconstruction with implants a little over four weeks ago. I do not have the breast cancer gene, but do have a strong history of breast cancer (mother and grandmother-both diagnosed at age 52). I have been progressing fine since the surgery and I have returned to work. My left arm has been slower to recover than my right. I have really good range of motion on the right side, but the left side is lacking.
I stopped the suboxone one week prior to having a breast augmentation which contained alot of scar tissue and needed the implants replaced. I am currently on opioids for the pain connected to the surgery and I am still experiencing alot of pain, assuming It is coupled with my ms pain. My question is will the suboxone after day six post surgery give me enough pain control instead of the opioids.
I too am tired but i have radiation implants ( gee never heard of that for ovca, but what ever they say) I was at work just scratching away cuz i thought something bit me when i was outside smoking. I will be darned if i didnt find a breast lump. I am a bartender and have been poked and prodded just about everywhere so scratching my boobs is not abnormal behavior on my end.
You just need to follow up with your doctor and ask him about breast exercises and breast massage. Also ask him waht precautions you need to take - like not lifting heavy weights etc. Swimming should be taken up only after your doctor's consent and that too after a few weeks of the surgery - otherwise the normal wound healing process wounld get impaired due to stretch forces at the wound site.
