t u just hate when ppl who are suppose to be ur friend fill ur mind with doubt and worry?? All week I have heard horror stories from the girls from work (who are nurses) girls we gotta remember that no pregnancy is the same and personally I feel listening to girls drag us down makes us feel waaay worse. I ended up booking a private scan cos I was so torn up by what ppl were telling me about my nausea symptoms stopping. If ur not sick ur whole pregnancy something is wrong?!?!? I was terrified.
I'd go further than specialmom. I had the worst withdrawal in the history of them, but I don't think the non-horror stories match the horror stories -- I think they far exceed the horror stories. The problem is, medication for anything does force the body to work artificially, so generally it's only supposed to be prescribed if necessary. That's the First Do No Harm part of a doctor's oath.
You want to go to a dentist that has had a lot of experience with doing it correctly. I have heard many horror stories from people with the problems they are having with implants.
I have one and it was put in beautifully. And it was a difficult insertion with very little room to work with. Next to front tooth. I had special x rays taken before and the dentist made sure that there was enough space, bone, distance from sinuses, etc. before he considered me for an implant.
My doctor, who I trust and who did my last surgery, recommends a hysterectomy for me with my problems and Mothers history. I have heard horror stories about it and the homorne therapy decision. Is it best for me to get it all out or roll the dice? My sister who is 1 year older than me just had a hysterectomy with no hormone therapy. Is it better to do it that way? I am scheduled for surgery this Wednesday and I feel very confused. I am afraid of what may be on my ovary.
I've never been pregnant but I got the Mirena last year in August. It's been great! I only get some spotting for a few days as a "period" instead of having the massive heavy bleeding that I used to get. I do get some painful cramps the day of my period and some twinges occasionally after it's over, but other than that, I don't even know it's there.
I had the same concerns as you about the horror stories but I haven't experienced anything bad.
i forgot about it until 3 days ago and its still painless but is the size of a large marble.i been reading alot of horror stories not knowing what to think i cam here for some help.i have also over the past 2 years lost 120 lbs without even trying.i have been really tired and have had lots of soreness(kind of like i have the flu) over the last 3 months and have had hard bumps growing on my right middle knuckles.

Vacuum-assisted biopsy (brand names, Mammotome or MIBB) allows physicians to perform accurate breast biopsies on women with breast implants. Prior to the advent of vacuum-assisted biopsy, women with implants typically had to undergo open surgical biopsy if breast cancer was suspected.

Actually, if your nipple still has feeling, the chance are high. Breast augmentation (breast implants) isn't a reason alone not to be able to produce breast milk. Most likely, it depends on the kind of surgery you had, but most approaches are compatible with breastfeeding. Incisions made under the fold of the breast or through the armpit shouldn't cause any trouble. A "Smile" incision around the areola increase your risks of breastfeeding complications.
This includes for saline or silicone breast implants. What type do you have? If they are saline, leaking implants are not a risk. And currently, saline implants are what is typically used. Is one breast or both changing in size? That's another way to know if there is an issue with the implant. Do you feel any lumps? Do you do regular breast exams? I prefer breast implants to be placed under the muscle. I have very little breast tissue and have heard that people with no breast tissue or little breast tissue will get better results if the implants are placed under the muscle. And I will most probably be getting implants within couple of months. I have already talked to a surgeon Dr. Robert Backstein of Steeles Avenue Cosmetic Surgery Clinic in Toronto, but haven't confirmed of getting the surgery.

The risks are very low and they feel more like real breast. I to will be getting implants after the expanders have done thier work. But I am getting gummy implants. They are fairly new to the US but have been used in Canada and abroad for years. They feel fabulous and the contents are like gummy bear material. But again if I had to choose between silicone or saline I would choose silicone every time. My PS says they are safe.
You should not have gone for breast implants. See, not everyone are good candidates for breast implants. The surgeon will conduct some physical examinations and then only he allows you to get breast implants. I think you were not a good candidate. It might be the problem while conducting the above mentioned physical examinations that made you a good candidate. A dear friend of mine has had breast augmentation few years back.
I've had breast cancer twice now and also had saline implants. It's not unusual to have little twitches or small pains, you do have scar tissue in there. I would like to say and have said it before to Drs. that dismiss the pain with breast cancer shame on you. At age 32 they tried to dismiss my lump first because of my age and second because it was painful .... breast cancer doesn't hurt....WRONG!!!!!!! If I had listened to the Drs, I would not be here today. It was cancer.
I had a breast implant operation done in August this year and my left breast healing normal, but my right breast anytime I give my self the massage a few little knots appear under the skin, is not painful, but I am worried, and the thing about it is that I got the procedure done in Venezuela and I live in Trinidad so I cannot see my doctor, I will like to know if this is something serious.
