7928796 tn?1396351929 Its really different for everyone... I know one woman who breast fed three babies a year a piece with implants and I know another that breast fed her first, got implants and couldn't breast feed her second or third...
Avatar f tn Actually, if your nipple still has feeling, the chance are high. Breast augmentation (breast implants) isn't a reason alone not to be able to produce breast milk. Most likely, it depends on the kind of surgery you had, but most approaches are compatible with breastfeeding. Incisions made under the fold of the breast or through the armpit shouldn't cause any trouble. A "Smile" incision around the areola increase your risks of breastfeeding complications.
6918915 tn?1395932871 I have silicone gel implants that are under the muscle. They say you should be able to breast feed but that every situation is different. I am hoping ill be able to.
Avatar n tn My sis in law had no problems breastfeeding with her 2nd. Her milk supply was the same as with her 1st baby which she had b4 the breast augmentation. As far as sagging Im not sure.
Avatar n tn My implants are over the muscle and was done at the crease under the breast. I have two other children 1 of which I had absolutely no problems nursing, however that was before I got the lift!!! Avatar f tn they fit my frame well and people are always surprised when I divulge my secret. Anyway, how does pregnancy effect the less than natural breast? ;) Is breastfeeding possible? I haven't gotten my BFP yet but want to know what to expect when I do! Thanks girls!
Avatar f tn t come in for 3-4 days after you give birth, and you may not leak at all during pregnancy either, breast heaviness, fullness, size, etc. have nothing to do with it. My doctor told me it's very rare for a women to not be able to breastfeed or not get milk so I wouldn't worry about it!
Avatar n tn What is the difference with breastfeeding with implants under the muscle but the incision on the nipple than normal breast feeding?
Avatar n tn Not I, but my sis in law. She breast fed her son pumped had no issues. Her milk supply was the same as w/ her 1st child which was b4 she had the implants.

6918915 tn?1395932871 I've seen this question before but I don't think anyone ever answered it. I have silicone gel, under the muscle implants. I've been told I can probably still breast feed but my boob haven't started leaking yet and with my first they leaked at 29 weeks (I didn't have implants then.) So now idk if that means anything. But also I want to know about the after effects of pregnancy and breastfeeding. Do they sag and shrink?
Avatar n tn Does anyone have experience or info on breastfeeding with saline breast implants? I am expecting for the first time and would like to breastfeed.
Avatar f tn Did anyone's boobs get bigger after breast feeding? I've heard they do! And do they go back to normal after?
Avatar f tn I have full sleeves, chest tattoo and implants! I have high risk pregnancies (been pregnant 7 times and have 3 kids). Im currently 36 weeks pregnant with my 4th and i see a obstetrics specialist....she has never once said my tattoos are a concern for breastfeeding!! Hope that gives you peice of mind!
Avatar n tn Like literally... Before prenancy I was a C cup and after pregnacny and breastfeeding my boobies went to a small B :( I'm 32W with baby #2 I really want to breastfeed him but I don't want my boobs to get smaller lol. Did anyone have the same issue or will they maybe get bigger and back to a C cup like I was before my first pregnancy?
Avatar f tn Breast fed my first for 8months not doing it with my second, plus I have breast implants makes it more complicated. Formula it is !
Avatar f tn I recently had a Breast Augmentation surgery last April and I am currently 22 weeks pregnant with baby number two. I would like to try to breastfeed but not sure how it will go. My implants are sub-muscular and my incision was made in my areola. Has anyone else been in my situation and if so how did breastfeeding go?
581359 tn?1454006442 Okay - with my first two pregnancies my breast size went from a B/C cup to beyond a DD while breastfeeding....2 years after... I lost way too much weight - very unhealthy and has some personal issues going on and went down to an A cup when I decided to get mine done. I went with a full C - but shortly after the surgery I gained some weight and became a little more healthy that they turned out to be a D ... prepregnancy/after augmentation I was wearing a size 0 or 2...
Avatar f tn Has anyone had their nipples pierced but had them out for a year and still breast feed fine?? Does the baby get to much milk ? I know it comes out of every hole, i don't want him to choke because theres to much coming out. Im due in October and thats one of my worries!! And im very adamant on breastfeeding..
Avatar f tn In January I began experiencing strange muscle spasms in my left breast. It has since moved to both breasts but primarily the left. I'm also having nipple spasms. You can actually see and feel the movement, along with an almost zipping bubble-like sensation.Sometimes I'll get some pain but more often it's the spasms. Although my nipple is very sensitive on the left side, sometimes painful to touching my bra, etc.
Avatar f tn I breastfed my daughter for 16 months and my boobs looked exactly like they did before I had her. They didn't sag or look deflated. So I'd say the changes you had were from being pregnant and not breastfeeding. I have heard that some women have trouble breastfeeding after an augmentation. It all depends where you were cut. Because sometimes blood vessels are severed and the lack of blood supply changes things. Join the Facebook group Dairy Queens and ask questions you have.
