Avatar m tn Oh yes, I love how all the ornaments have a story. I have one very fragile thin glass bulb that has survived since the turn of the century before last; I made batches of porcelain ornaments for the births of my children; They in turn made ornaments at various ages; and I know who gave us all the others as Christmas presents. I should probably put little tags on them so that when my kids put up the upside down tree with their kids ( I hope) they will know where the surviving ornaments came from.

Avatar f tn So my husband and I were wanting to wait until Xmas to announce our pregnancy to our families this is our first baby and we had a whole plan figured out with painted ornaments and an u/s pic in with them. But I am already almost 12 weeks and will be 15 weeks at xmas. My husband thinks that we should tell them sooner because my belly is already getting hard to camouflage.
Avatar m tn An upside down tree lasts longer before needles fall off because the water remaining in the branches is assisted by gravity to move to the tips. Our ornaments hang out away from the tree and so they are displayed so much better. Santa has so much more floor space under the tree in which to place presents. And it turns out that even a Charlie Brown tree looks really good when it is upside down so I can cull a weak, overcrowded tree from the yard and it still looks great.
996946 tn?1503249112 Does anyone have any ideas on how I can keep two half-grown kittens away from an artificial Christmas tree. I'm not so much worried about the ornaments or them climbing the tree, but them chewing on the branches. I'm about ready to bannish them to the garage, but how much fun would that be.
1124862 tn?1303850973 I posted about ornaments. I have another shower in January so I can't use that idea either but will either give a gift certificate for a manicure, or a basket of lotions/shower gels/soaps as kind of a "from my shower to yours." I also thought about getting some pretty kitchen or bathroom towels and adding a monogram. That's not expensive. Take advantage of the after Christmas sales where you can likely find gift items at reduced prices. Hope that's helpful.

Avatar f tn It is common for many young women to have a breast lesion similar to the one you describe. In medical parlance, it is called a fibroadenoma. It is sometimes called a "breast mouse" because of its mobility. Please dont worry about it. However, this should be a good opportunity for you to learn about breast health. Please surf the internet to access sites that describe the correct way to perform a breast self examination. Perform this every month.
1345697 tn?1430619021 I can't recall who originally asked about hostess gifts but I know many of you are having showers soon and I had an idea I wanted to share. My last shower I gave block glass picture frame that had my best friend's children's names etched in the glass. She LOVED it and it's something she'll use forever. It was inexpensive but personal.
Avatar n tn Lumps that do not hurt when you press down on them, and are in and around the lobules/stroma of the breast are cancer lumps. Breast cancer occurs in the lymph system. Certain moles also indicate cancer. Melanoma with asymmetrical and uneven flat edges are cancer moles. Melanoma with symmetrical, even edges are noncancerous moles. Here is a link for cancerous moles. (https://www.google.com/search?
Avatar f tn My husband and I are in the same boat with a doc appt right before Christmas. We are revealing to our families with homemade glass ornaments, each saying "grandma & grandpa, est. July 2015" and we'll hopefully have ultrasound photos that we can shrink down and put inside the ornaments! (Kind of like a little snow globe...) Congrats, BTW!
Avatar n tn If you find changes or something unusual in one of your breasts, it’s important to see a health care provider as soon as possible. But keep in mind that most breast changes are not cancer. The best way is to consult a best doctor near to you.
