Avatar f tn My husband has been suffering from delayed ejaculation for almost 10 years. He can only have orgasm and ejaculation when masturbating. What are some ways, methods, tips, that can help us so he can ejaculate in me. We're wanting to have a child, but ejaculating in me is quiet hard for him.
Avatar f tn My partner had headaches for yrs and finally he went to the GP and was sent to hospital, and after 2 months he had an operation 2 yrs ago to drain a very large cyst thats attached to the brain and inner left ear. he had check ups every 6 months. this time its filled back up and he's due for another operation to remove all of it, but the only way it can be removed is cut his inner ear away, which will leave him deaf in his left ear.

Avatar m tn It really helps for you to read and look at them as well as to have them for other opinions. It never hurts to get other opinions. If you had contacted me before your dad had radiation, I would have told you to research types of radiation as there are other options and some have more side effects than others - gamma knife is the oldest type out there and perhaps a consult for another type would have helped (or it may have been confusing!). I can totally understand being upset.
Avatar m tn and therefore he had to go to craniotomy in Australia. After the operation he return to Papua New Guinea and from then on, he was blind. Please assist. Once again, your assistance is greatly appreciated.
Avatar f tn I wish could tell you the words of wisdom that can see you through. I have put off for four days going to get my MRI results because I don't know if I want to know what they say - so I understand. I am afraid and I am so sick that I just don't know if I have any courage anymore. If you are a spiritual person, pray for courage. God will bring it to you if you ask and believe. You can always turn to one of us to lend you that extra strength you may need and we will be there for you.
Avatar m tn I have to note that during the surgeon operation there was put one apparatus to suck the pile of water from the left hemisphere side over the brain (left side). Its apparatus put in generally during such kind of surgeon operations due to the doctors of neuro surgeon. So when I felt myself very bad from headache I immediately went to The IRAN (Tabriz city) with my parents.
Avatar f tn Radiation is used when the mass is generally not operable, or after an operation to slow growth for a cancerous growth. It can effect the tissues around it and there are many different types too. Do you have any other specific information?

Avatar f tn my cousin was rushed to hospital after a blackout (has had a benign operation removed 10 years ago) and the doctors found that she had another tumor so they scheduled her for an operation and removed the tumor which had grown back.... a shunt had been inserted and she later had a reaction to the shunt and so they operated again and put another one in.... when she recovered from that surgery she was not her usual self...
Avatar f tn t going to show u exactly what ur baby looks like because u have layers of skin and fluid to go through to even get a picture. But even if the baby was born with big eyes and a big forehead, so what? Babies are beautiful the way they are born. The bigger the eyes the more beautiful. And who knows, maybe if she has a bigger forehead then she will be smarter than most cuz there's more room for her brain!!

Avatar m tn Many thanks for your speedy reply i really appriciate it i would like to ask another question if that is ok what is the sucess rate of this operation and is thier a chance of it reappearing
Avatar m tn He has had brain surgery and not a minor operation at that. His brain is resting , from the narcoses he will need a year to get back to normal. Some people have a harder time coming out of there narcoses than others. Having parkinsons doesn't help matters either. It is a disease that demands a lot of enegy from the brain just to keep awake. Give it time.
Avatar n tn Hi, Last August (2007) I had a shunt revision (my 5th shunt since 1978). The reason for the shunt was that I developed hydrocephalus when I was 30 years old. The last operation, the shunt had to be replaced and it was placed on the right side of the brain a little higher than before. I had always felt fine after each operation, other than the temporary short term memory loss and double vision. I always came back in good form.
Avatar f tn They do have to push the brain (or use other means to draw it) back up into the skull. They don't dig into the brain, but they move it. So I guess it really depends on how you look at it. My NS told me it was brain surgery. And also that I could tell everyone it was because my brain was too big for my skull ;) My Neurologist likes to refer to it as "neck surgery," which kind of irritates me. But I think my surgeon trumps him.
Avatar n tn There are medications that sometimes can dissolve the clots, other than that it may require a surgical operation. You may want to post the question to the expert forum. Scroll down and to the left for the link.
Avatar f tn If you have lesions in the cerebellum it would probably be usual for symptoms originating from that part of the brain to be worse - ie balance, co-ordination etc but I'm not sure about the rest of the brain.
