Hi I was diagnosed with a brain cyst by my GP, she said that I probably had it since birth. She didn't really do much explaining except that it wasn't anything serious and wasn't the cause of my daily headaches. She had an MRI done on me which came out fine. I was just wondering, I have been getting my headaches back again quite often, and I was wondering if these cysts can grow?
a relative went thru lens operation that failed (eventually it was removed) , her eyes are very dry and she supers acute pain. any ideas how to solve the dryness / reduce the pain?
1 year ago i solved my phimosis problem and get a frenulum operation. After the operation, i witness red spot on my glans but my urologist said it was nothing. It was sensitive so i went through several doctors who said that was nothing/mycosis/infection and i used a lot of creams and lotion on it. Then i forget about it because all the doctors said that i should not be worried about that. But 3weeks ago my nightmare starts. First i had some redness rash on my penis glans. The redness grew.
My brother in-law went for a brain tumour operation overseas. when he returned after the operation, he lost his sight(blindness). How can he recover from this blindness? Will he have to go through some operation again? please help so that I can take him through as per instructed. He is a father of 4 children and the family is in great need!

my dog just had quite a big leg surgery and had two stitches in her chest as a dog attacked her , her chest is red and I m not sure if this is normal, she had the operation a day ago , I was just wondering if anyone has had this happen before and would let me know if this is normal or concerning please thank you . my father has brain tumor for 5 years. he had operation three times the last one was 9 month ago in his last operation he lost his left eye and a small amount of tumor remain his sinus 4 month after operation he was under gammaknife radiation but his tumor grown again and he is going to lost the other eye. he is so upset what should we do?

My 5 months old daughter has a congenital entropion of the right lower eyelid.
We have visited our local ophtalmologist in Latvia 4 months ago. She told us that this eyelid will come to normal with time. 4 months are over, but there is not any positive dynamics.
The question, I would like to ask: "Does my daughter need the operation or the eyelid will come to normal with time? At what age she can be operated?

Family history from her no one have a cancer. My wife has had 2 times operation for her breast. Firstly Doctor has been made Excision operation for about 12X8 mm size of the tissues. Then the biopsy result was Medullary Carcinoma Mammae.

I don't know about the shunt, but I do know that while ANY operation on the brain carries risk of some changes in mental agility, nevertheless from what I understand, cysts are so well-defined by being encapsulated, that the possibility of damaging nearby structures is minimal.
hello, I was told yesterday the cyst on my left ovary has to be removed as it is growing fast, I'm very worried about having the operation whilst pregnant. Has anybody gone through this and could post there stories? I keep looking at my little baby scan photo.
I don't think so. My experience with MRIs and lesions is based on my own brain as well as work I've done in the field (but I'm not a physician). MS lesions are typically quite visible, looking like white spots or splotches, often with poorly defined edges. Use your favorite search engine to see sample images, and you'll note the difference between those and the MRI you posted.
Anyone who wants to correct my impression of this MRI and MS lesions, please do so.
My mom was operated of right parietal meningioma on December 14 2009.
She has problems with:
-getting dressed and personal heygen
-orientation (she cant tell left from right)
-short term memory (sometimes she things an event that happened today, happened 2 weeks ago)
-math problems
-lethargy
-iritability
-no phisical problems
Her mengioma was 5 cm.Also there is some blod left after the operation but I've been told it doesnt press on the brain.
