body gas pains

I have been taking Nexium 40 mg one time a day for the past two months and the past week I have been having gas pains in my chest. I can feel the gas bubbles moving after I eat and stays around for a long period of time which is very uncomfortable. Is it ok for me to take Gas X along with the Nexium?

t feel this way during my first pregnancy. i am not spotting or anything like that and i am wondering if it could just be body changes??

If it gets unbearable I would call the hospital and just ask a nurse if you should be checked out. I know gas pains are the worst and when I got them I felt like I was dying.

Im having super bad gas pains, I know gas is normal but should it hurt this bad? I just wanna lay in bed and die... well not die but you get the point. It *****!

So I feel like I have gas pains like if I had to fart or poop but I try and I cant. Sometimes its real intense that I cant walk or bend over. Is it just gas or what else couldnit be?? Lots of pressure in pelvic area ah its horrible. Im 38w4d.

I know this sounds funny but are you able to fart. Normally I guess really bad gas pains due to excess gas and also having to use the bathroom. #2. So I eat something that I know will give me the poops sorry tmi. but it helps me. I never thought at the time i had it to try some sort of gas relief. But i would look into that.

I had horrible gas and gas pains before I knew I was pregnant and it was not common for me at all lol...

I have really horrible gas pains, nausea, and bloating. I was wondering if anyone has found anything that helps them with these issues besides antacids. I like herbal meds too if anyone has any suggestions that would be wonderful!

Has anyone else experienced sharp, sporadic vaginal pains? I'm only about 5 weeks along. No bleeding. It feels like someone's sticking a needle up there! They don't last long... could it be because of gas/constipation, or the uterus expanding? It seems to be worse at night. Thanks for your help!

I can get gas in strange places in my body. I know it is gas because when i hit my side or pound on my back i can create a burp. the gas is very painful and can travel through my body to different parts causing very strange symptoms. I can create a burp within a few seconds by hitting my back with my hand ( like burping a baby) The gas can be in my side, middle of my back, hips, etc,, sometimes it feels like my lungs hurt but i can tell it is gas.

Are there certain foods that can give you stomach pains or gas? It may well be that you THINK the sounds are coming from your right shoulder but the kinds of sounds you describe are much more likely to be associated with gas in the stomach and intestines, some of which being able to come back into your throat and mouth.....remember...burps are noisy too.... best of luck with your concern, but it really does sound not a serious problem to me....

ve been dealing with terrible gas pains and cramping. Sometimes I go to bed feeling extremely nauseous. I only go to the bathroom once a day now and it's usually only in the morning. t mention whether you could pass it or not, only that you had gas pains. I had a blockage while I was in the hospital and it is no fun. The pains feel like labor pains. It was some of the worst pain I've ever felt. I'm so sorry you are feeling badly. Try to walk around as much as possible like Sharon mentioned. If you can at least pass it, that means most likely, there is not a blockage.

Yes often when I have gas I know it because my little man flips and turns and I get cramps and sharp pains until it comes, perfectly normal.

I read mild cramps are common, cause its just your uterus getting ready for the baby. Also, gas pains sometimes feel like cramps. I'm 5 weeks 2 days and the gas pains and constipation are driving me crazy. At least one apple a day and some yogurt raisins help me. Maybe the cramps you're feeling are gas? Do you have a doctor appointment soon?

No bleeding jus pains. My doctor just told me to make sure I'm drinking a lot of water and if I have gas don't hold it in.

It could also be gas. Sounds weird but gas can manifest itself anywhere in your body.

Along with growing pains it's entirely likely that it could be gas too. Gas hurts in a completely different way when you are pregnant compared to when you are not pregnant. Either way it is completely normal to have pains now and then. If the pains are accompanied by blood (enough to fill a pad in an hour, not just spotting) or if the pains get stronger and more frequent you should go get checked out again. But for the most part it sounds like round ligament pain or gas.

I get it sometimes too. As far as the gas pains go it could be just that... gas pains but might be contractions too. As long as they don't keep happening it's probably just false labor. Your body just getting practice for the real thing.
