On one occasion I asked Dr. DeAdamo (Eat right for your blood type) and was told to take bioflavonoids for it. I am beginning to take the supplement now, since the vessel popping has become too annoying to ignore.
I get this from time to time and have anxiety. I've even had a nuclear stress test . . . results normal. I also get the pains in my left and right chest and lower abdomen, but it always goes away. Eat light until it passes.
Simple question here, has anyone ever had a negative blood test and negative urine test and went on with their daily routine and a month or so later found out you were in fact pregnant while having ultrasound done. If this has happened to anyone or perhaps someone you know, please respond, I'd appreciate the information. Thanks.
Hello Tramadol Warriors! Top 'o the evening to you and welcome. We're glad you found us! You can do this.
So this afternoon when I went to the bathroom there was blood on the paper. It wasn't heavy, but it wasn't light either. It was literally only on the paper though and I've not had anything since. I've marked it as spotting on my tracker (even though it was heavier than just spotting) because I don't want it to change to CD1 until I know for definite if it is or not. I've not had anything since though, so I don't know.
I went food shopping the other day with my hubby . I picked up 2 things from the fridge section. Within less than a minute my fingers tips went icey cold & I then had a bad case hot aches, the pain was horrible, I put my hands under my arms to try & get warmth back in & get rid of this horrible pain, which lasted a good 10mins or more. But I have never experienced this before especially when just doing shopping, only when I had snow ball fights when I was alot younger.
May I ask exactly what is your shopping list and the "why's for each supplement, and also if your doctor has had some input here, as I believe he's written on that subject. Currently, I take daily one multi w/o iron, a probiotic, Omega 3 capsules, sometimes a baby aspirin, and some sort of bulk fiber like Metamucil, UltimateFiber or ground Flax. That theoretically leaves me enough left over at the end of the month for those massages you are lusting over. LOL.
In my opinion, LP's are way more trouble than they are worth; I was dxed with MS even without any O-bands in my spinal fluid, and suffered a way painful headache to boot. Like I said, that is just me. I hope you get the answers you need. God bless you.
its been one hell of a day, i got hold of my pain management doc today cause ive been in serious pain all weekend nothing is taking the edge off im on oxycontin 40mg nuerontin, blood press meds heart meds and fentenal patch and i am freaking miserable. i go to see him in the morning to see what new concoction he has come up with for me, im having serious second thoughts about this spinal fusion surgery.
then she ret'd again on the next Mon, Tues, Wed, and left on Thurs. to help me with driving and FOOD SHOPPING .. that is hard to lift the groceries in/out cart and into house even harder .. so keep that in mind .. incisional muscles pull. I was driving 6 days post op on ltd. basis and 14 days post-op have FULL RANGE OF MOTION in my neck and cold outside doesn't cause muscle tightness or irratibility anymore . I wear a scarf to keep winter coat zipper in its place away from neck, etc.

The first time it turned into a panic, attack was when I was 19 y/o. I am now 32 y/o. My mother also has issues with panic. I was told by my doctor that it could be an inherited trait. Whether it is from genes, environment, or both, I am not sure. Do you have anyone in your family with anxiety issues? It is important to do as the other posts suggest. Remember you have control over it. It gets easier to recognize when an attack is coming on. I can actually talk myself out of one.
I would go to the next apt. with a list of questions. I actually type mine and put them in a binder and write down the answers. Yup, I would be a type A. I know my doc is rushed so I make sure I come prepared. The nurse always meets with me first to check my bp, urine, etc. I ask her any questions I feel that she is qualified to answer. She often says, "I would recommend you run that by the doctor". I do call if I have huge concerns, but again I speak with the nurse first.
1 -people should have to take shopping cart driving tests- and know the 'rules of the shopping aisle' .... violators should be placed on an island, where they can engage in thought # 5 below. Be a good reality show eh? 2 - anyone who drives their cart SO close to my backside (i'm NOT going slow) has the right to hear me say " sorry- would you like to go ahead, or did you just enjoy cart ******* my ***???" - in a PLEASANT (albiet sarcastic ) tone.
thinking it could be due to toxicity being created from imuran. They are doing blood tests in the middle of Nov. He doesn't seem to be "overly" concerned, and that drives me crazy. My bilirubin was normal, and in the last 3 months has been creeping up. Anyway, anyone been battling autoimmune for a long time. Any helpful tips?? Any diet tips? My Dr. seems to think the meds are working just fine, I don't need to be overly concerned w/diet, etc. I diagree!
It's uncommon (and should be carefully investigated) to have a chronic high blood pressure at the age of 20. How high is the blood pressure? Is it verified by 24 hour monitoring or just high at the doctor's office? Could the kidney calcification be to blame? If her blood pressure is constantly elevated, a cause must be found and treated. Maybe that will solve some of the other problems too?
I've joined this forum on behalf of my 56 y/o husband who has HCV which has progressed to stage 4 cirrhosis. He is developing other complications like splenomegaly and portal hypertension, etc. He attempted tx in '03 for 3 months and had to stop due to the stress of work (was a home builder) and the side effects. (developed diabetes shortly afterwards-I think the 2 are related) Anyway, he has genotype 1a and was responding to the Inf/Rib tx, but it was all just to much to handle at once.
g-o-o-d e-v-e-n-i-n-g sis-stars!!! How is everyone? Still sleeping from the Turkey overdoses? Well, we are starting yet another ivf cycle (#6, but who's counting!) Started Lupron November 26th. Looking at retrieval about December 11th or so..... whole new protocol this round. Anyone do the 'black Friday' marathon shopping? This chicka stayed in her nice warm bed! We have had about 30 inches of snow since Turkey day, and about 18 since yesterday. We have been mad shoveling fools!
55 y/o F Geno 1b VL 1,590,000 (6/05) AST 36, ALT 45, AlkP 161 (6/05) Bx (8/05) "Moderate activity (grade 3 out of 4) without increased fibrosis (stage 1 out of 4)." So, what questions should I ask the renowned Dr Shiffman? Thanks for your help.
Mine was rather large and he said that it may have been caused from high blood pressure. My blood pressure has never been extremely high but it is high enough to need medications for it. I am not sure what he called this...I wish I had wrote it down. I requested my notes and records so maybe it will be in there. I am really confused about ME....I am hoping that when you feel up to it we can chat more....thanks!!
Hello all! I just want to introduce myself, I am a 36 y/o female with a 4cm nodule on my left thyroid lobe that was found during a routine exam at the end of September. Ultrasound results showed a complex solitary mass and recommended a biopsy. FNA results suggested a benign nodule, but the surgeon and my newly acquired Endo recommended surgery mainly due to it's size and the small % possibility there is still cancer in it. All blood labs were normal. So, on Jan.
I would do everything to prepare for things not going easy. Someone in the forum can post a shopping list of things you might like to have around. (If I can find it I'll post it or the link) Once you've done all you know to do to start expecting things to go well. I have only finished 12 weeks and that hasn't been nearly as bad as I was expecting, But, there were members like nygirl, Jim and many, many others who helped me get through the 18 months (scared!!!
I had the 72 hour fast test where they checked blood sugars and blood insulin levels every four hours. The insulin levels were fine, so no insulinoma. My sugars were down in the 40-50 range during much of the test but I had few symptoms then. I seem to feel the symptoms most when my sugar drops rapidly from a post meal high. It often gets worse when I'm under stress (doesn't everything).
Most common nasal decongestants can cause a positive reading for Amphetamines. As the cross reactive list suggests at the back of this booklet, amphetamine false positives are the most common. Recent articles in the Journal of Clinical Chemistry ,Vol. 38 No.12 1992 and Vol. 39 No.3 1993 warn that medications containing chloropromazine, fluspirilene, and others may yield a positive when tested for amphetamines.
Will you be trying for the FET next month then??? AFM, I'm cycle day 13, no surge yet. I hope I O soon, b/c the sooner I O the sooner I can start my IVF!
