blood

Avatar n tn t know the ins and outs of the keto diet, but if you have periods of time during the day when your blood sugar is below a certain level, that would be good to reduce acne. Eating all throughout the day (which keeps your blood sugar high all the time) increases the chance of getting acne.

Avatar m tn This may pinpoint what nutritional values you are lacking in your diet. Sometimes simple multi-day vitamins appropriate for your body type/age will help bring your levels into check. You may also want to take vitamins geared towards skin health, immune system, and blood cells. Also, make sure you're drinking plenty of water and eating a healthy diet. Water will flush your skin and organs of toxins that may be causing the acne.
Avatar m tn i am a teenager girl 17years old. i have acne problem and oily skin and acne scars i have tried everything and every treatment nothing happend.so how should i cure my acne and my acne scares and oily skin.
Avatar n tn How old are you? What is your skin type? Oily? Dry? Sensitive? Is it flaky? Most acne sufferers have more sensitive skin than they think and they treat and treat and treat and rarely see any good results. Overwashing and scrubbing and medicating is the last thing the skin needs. The key is to getting the it balanced. If you are red, your skin is probably very irritated and needs a break from any cleansers or treatments. Wash in the morning with a very mild cleanser (no harsh chemicals!
Avatar f tn I am an 18 year old asian girl with a fairly good diet- I am 45 kgs and 5 ft 5" tall. I used to have silky straight hair but since 4th grade I've had a bad case of dandruff (my skin is acne prone too). My hair type changed from super silky to voluminous and frizzy ( I have a thick head of hair). I've lived with this for alot of years now and I can control my acne, but recently (almost 2 years ago) my hair started changing in texture.
Avatar f tn Since reaching my mid 30's my skin has been a wreck. I have dry skin that is sensitive and whenever I use moisturizers they break me out even when they say it doesn't clog pores. So I am constantly trying to battle acne with products that dry and moisturizers that break me out. I just can't seem to get the right routine for my skin type...please HELP!!
Avatar f tn ve suffered pretty bad back acne for years now, and I was wondering if back acne (especially cystic type) can lead to swollen lymph nodes? Specifically, the persistent swollen node I am referencing is the supra-vascular. Thanks!
Avatar m tn However, some interesting evidence now suggests a possible link between acne and obesity driven by eating a high-glycemic load diet. A recent review published in August in the dermatology journal Cutis indicates that acne may be promoted by the same kind of diet that triggers insulin resistance, a condition that can develop when the normal amount of insulin secreted is not sufficient to move glucose into the cells, causing an increase in both insulin and blood sugar levels.
Avatar f tn I have been dealing with acne since i was 13 and therez no end to it even now .... after so many anti boitic courses to herbal meds to over the counter creams .... i tried accutance , 40 mg for 8 mnths .... Avatar n tn I am wondering what is a good type of birth control to take for acne and that will regulate my period, but won't effect my hormones too much? I have tried mulitple birth control such as ortho-tricyclen and multiple others that I can't remember the names to. They each helped with my acne and to regulate my period significantly but I didn't like taking them.

Avatar f tn ve tried every kind of soap and face washing contraption as well as home remedies. Are there any new drugs out there that seem to help with this type of acne? Im so tired of having bad skin.
Avatar f tn I have been looking into this blood type diet myself being a blood type O but recently I have become concerned if I suffer manic episodes or am bipolar. Certain periods in my life become notably amazing. Usually when Im relatively lean I find myself with too much energy than I know what to do with! My social life improves dramatically! I quit 2 different jobs during these periods of "high". I almost become contagious during these periods wishing I could feel like this forever!
Avatar n tn My doctor just told me that I am slightly hypertensive and borderline type II diabetic. She put me on the diet plan for daibetics and I like it. I've been losing weight and getting energy highs then I get the "munchies" for popcorn and BBQ chips. I can't drink fruit juices or anything else except diet soda, water, and diet teas or sugar free Kool Aid. But if I drink the sugar free stuff I get so "gassy" and diarrhea. This part ***** big time.
Avatar f tn Over the past couple of years I've started to develop severe acne all over my body. Mostly small whiteheads, with occasional cysts. I get it everywhere, back, shoulders, chest, arms, stomach, butt, even on my legs. My face is actually the one place that has the least amount of acne, and remains pretty clear. My skin also gets pretty oily throughout the day. It all started in my mid-twenties, I never had a lot of problems with my skin before.
Avatar m tn For others, it significantly slows the progress so that they can maintain on diet and exercise or the addition of an oral med for many years. Normal blood sugars are fasting under 100 and two hours post prandial under 140. People who are non-diabetic rarely go over 120. There is little reason to do random blood sugars, they don't tell you very much; I would suggest fasting blood sugar and then two hours after meals. This tells you how different foods affect you and how high you are going.
Avatar n tn I have always gotten red in the face and had a red neck. I do have high blood pressure and do take medicine. I am a smoker and do drink some alcohol. I take procardia, metorprol and lisinipril for the blood pressure. With these meds it is regulated. I did have some tests done earlier in the year. One was a speical Cardio CT Angiogram and showed some narrowing of one artery, but not blocked. I have to watch my diet and stop smoking. Recently my face has gotten red more frequently.
Avatar f tn gross as it is, it was more or less an acne type cystic boil with infection and some blood that went under the fingernail - still no risk? even if viral load was high at the time?
Avatar m tn Alright, hello my name is Erfaan, I'm 17 1/2 years old. I've taken many blood tests. I've taken CBC test, Mono test, Electrolyte test, which all seemed to come out normal. My specialist checked my heart and lungs, they seemed to come out okay. I haven't had a fever, I do not have dry cough, nasal congestion, or sneezing problems. I took an HIV test twice and they both came out negative.
Avatar m tn I always had very clear skin even during teenage years, but all of a sudden in past year I just started breaking out on my forehead, chin, cheeks...really bad breakouts starting red, some have white heads that pop eventually...first I thought that waxing causes it and stopped, but nothing helps...no systems, nothing....I haven't had any amounts of stress, no real change in diet, I do take birthcontrol pills every couple of months, but break outs started before i started on them...
463575 tn?1211302688 Be sure and drink two extra glasses of water a day, as this stuff kinda dehydrates you at first. Also, turmeric acts as a blood purifier and blood THINNER, so if you have any blood diseases or are getting ready to undergo surgery I would stay away until your doc says it's ok to take it. Another awesome thing turmeric did for me: No more nightmares. Strange, I know, but for what ever reason, I don't have them anymore. My memory has also improved. Go figure.
