Avatar f tn Anyone else going to refuse the glucose test during the 24-28 weeks? I had it with my first little girl without a lot of information and I've never had issues with blood sugar. My levels have always been normal at 50-80. They gave me the test over 24 hours of not eating with the first and, of course, my blood sugar was high by one point. My daughter and myself never had issues after birth and I've eaten only healthy foods with this pregnancy.

Avatar n tn While I have never heard of headaches being related to any kind of reaction to insulin, I know from personal experience that horrible headaches sometimes accompany low blood sugar levels. While they sometimes go away when the glucose levels return to normal after drinking some juice, I have found that sometimes they stay with me for hours after a low blood sugar spell. So my first question would be: has your son experienced any low blood sugar episodes at all on days when he has headaches?

Avatar f tn What are normal blood sugar ranges for a teen-ager? I test my children periodically because I have T2 Diabetes.
