can anyone tell me what a normal blood sugar should be in a 7 year old. we had his sugar tested today at ambulance station that was having an open house and they were **** blood sugar test his was 186 he is 1 pound over weight (nothing I am concerned about) and one paramedic seemed concerned and said they thought normal was 100 and another said that no they are the same as an adult up to 200. he didn't fast for this test.

I have been monitoring my blood sugars at home since at a doctor visit my fasting glucose was 135. Every morning in the past week I have taken it (on empty stomach) it has been in the 130's, only one time it was 114. All throughout the day it is between 129 and 158, sometimes it is 192, 263. I notice my blood sugar at night between 2-3 am are over 120 and my fasting blood sugar in the morning is over 100. It is slightly low but within range. The normal is anywhere between 70-130 and being that you had a fruit smoothie it should of been a little higher. I check my sugar again at 230ish because I was feeling a headache and sugar was about the same at 103. Why would my sugar be the same hours apart. The same thing happened the other day and I had blurred eye vision even though my sugar was at a "normal" #. Well my last blood test by the doctor showed 95 so they said normal and my sugar for the last few Days ha been in the normal range so I'm going to safely say I can rule out blood sugar issues

Hi Thanks for the comments. I am not a diabetic, only in the beginning of this month the blood sugar level was slightly high i.e. 135 mg. I again done blood sugar test in the middle of this month now this has come down to 107 mg. Doctor has not advised any medicine, only advised to stop taking sugar, sweets containing sugar, decide only after another test in next month. Doctor doubts some neurologist disorders. However, there is no relief to my sole burning sensation.
