Common Questions and Answers about Blood sugar log excel format

blood-sugar

Avatar m tn Would checking your blood sugar level 3 hours after a meal be considered "BEFORE" OR "AFTER" a Meal.
Avatar m tn PCR test results are often expressed in logarithm format; this is likely the ‘LOG’ number you’re seeing— it’s an easier way to handle large numbers. Expressed numerically, this value equals 2,852,000; and it’s also likely they are using IU/mL. 2,852,000 IU/mL is a rather viral load; but as mentioned above, doesn’t necessarily correlate with disease progression or severity.
Avatar f tn Had to share this little experience - I really don't like the new format....
Avatar m tn Go to Microsoft Templates. In the search box there, just type in "blood sugar" and a bunch of spreadsheets, trackers, and charts will pop up. I found several good one's there and have been using ever since. But the one here at this site works ok too. I don't access my internet all the time so its handy to have it on a spreadsheet for me.
1831849 tn?1383228392 I am somewhat alarmed by the appearance and disappearance of a new format in the MS community. It seems to be happenening at random and without the users knowledge. There has been no information shared before or during this change, not to the users and not to the community leaders. This is not any way to manage change. I am a systems project manager by profession. If I were to mismanage my system in this way I would be unemployed.
4898964 tn?1381257899 Anyway I got the old forum back on my phone by doing what Pat said, log out and log back in. IMO the new format will turn a very successful forum for quitting drugs into a dead horse.
577285 tn?1706032371 Blood Sugar Tracker for us diabetic's out there please. It would be an invaluable tool for us to track this VITAL READING. Not only could it be based on those little log books that we all gotta carry around getting all dog eared and full of blood stains as well as getting more expensive to buy , but we could easily make a copy and bring the professional looking and easy to read Chart / Tracker to our Doctors.
Avatar m tn My initial viral load was 105,000, or log 5; if you use a scientific calculator, type in 100,000 then hit the log key; it should display the number ‘5’.
Avatar m tn Also if you log out, close your browser and log back in; you only have a 30% change of seeing the new format which means you have a 70% chance of seeing the old.

495284 tn?1333894042 If you are having issues PLEASE go to the bottom of the page and under Support click on contact us and send your issues in. Also, logging out and back in should bring you back to the old format but this will only happen for awhile. None of us know anything more about why the changes or what the goal is. We dont want anyone to leave the forum over this. Hopefully our feedback will help. Feel free to message me Vic or Gnarly if you need to vent.
190885 tn?1333025891 i was wondering why the format is not always the same when i open up the forum?? i didn't like it when they changed to blue, did "has this been helpful to you.".. and all that other stuff a few years ago..anyone else have this happen??? no real big deal.......
Avatar f tn I have had T1D for 9 months now. The last week or so my blood sugar had been between 240-340 mg/dl and I can't get it to come down. What should I do?
Avatar m tn Lets not think much about this disease. Its like other diseases like Diabetes, Blood sugar where there is some risk of death. So, lets be positive!!
Avatar m tn Start a written log of what you eat/drink and portion size, next to it your blood sugar levels. Test before you eat [preprandial] for a baseline measurement and then 2-3 hours after you finish your meal [postprandial]. You do have a home glucose test meter, right? By comparing preprandial with postprandial, postprandial will inform you which foods elevate your levels and which ones do not. You need to make a concentrated lifestyle change starting with foods.
370181 tn?1595629445 Hi Margy - We will eventually be going to the new format only. Right now, we aren't fully rolled out, so you may get the new format when you log in, or the old one.
Avatar f tn I have been coming here several years. I never realized until the format of our addiction community had changed how very much this forum has helped me. I wished I had posted more, I was a reader, but I am terribly sad over the coldness of this new format. I wanted to say thank you to so many here who never even knew they were helping me over the years. Domino Sarah, Gnarley, Victorious, Meggy, Spider. and so many more.
Avatar n tn You could work it out, I guess. Test your blood sugar. Then inject one unit of insulin and test 2 hours later to see how far your blood sugar has fallen. One unit is not likely to cause any dramatic problem. Please make sure you monitor your blood sugar closely when you are taking insulin as an overdose can be dangerous and and an underdose won't get your sugars down enough. Do you have a past log book as recommended by diabetes86? How high is your sugar?
382218 tn?1341181487 What I like least about the new format is not being able to see on the main page who is posting. We need to go into each individual post to see who posted and even then it took me a minute to figure it out as the poster's user name is tucked away at the bottom in small font. Photos are useful for identyimg the poster but not everyone chooses to use one. What do you think of posting our user name in the subject line of each new post we create?
Avatar m tn Somehow, I still have the old format. I do not get the new format using Firefox. However, with Chrome I get the new format. I'm perplexed as to why one would be different from the other.
