I am a diabetic and my doctor told me that if my blood sugar drop below 65 I should take agreed emergency actions which could include an emergency room visit, ingestion of a sweet drink like a cola or quick disolving glucose tablets and continued monitoring of my glucose level.. I am not advising you to do what I do--I am saying see your doctor or PA. Thats what my provider told me, Again---You need to get specific giudance from your diabetes health care providers.

One way to help raise your blood sugar level again is to eat or drink something that has sugar in it, such as a candy bar, orange juice, even a banana would help to a certain extent. I would also suggest that you keep the number for Poison Control handy (800-222-1222).

your blood sugar is low you need to eat! Orange juice with sugar mixed into it will help you and follow that with a protein snack, also take your blood sugar to see what it is. If it does not rise with in 15 mins drink some more orange juice. I hope this helps. you blood sugar should not stay permanently damaged and what ur are experiencing are side effects of hypoglycemia.

Sounds like low blood sugar. Where you standing still? Your blood pressure can drop when you are standing still, mixed with low blood sugar will make you loose vision and pass out. I have hypoglcemia so this is familar to me. Try drinking some juice and eat some protein and you should start to feel better.

as an rn, we had to check peoples blood sugar 4 x day. per the lab reports the normal range was 60-110. we as nurses never gave the patient insulin unless they were over 120. your blood sugars aer in the norm range. any lower and you would be hypoglycemic. the A1c test is done separetly from your cbc. this test gives the avaerage your blood sugar has been running over the past 2-3 months.

I thought I had injured my ribs last week at work, burt now am wondering is it possible to have injured my pancreas aind if so would that sent my blood sugar soaring off the charts? Alcohal has many different effects on diabetics which is why the American Diabetes Association recomends diabetics only drink two drinks a day. If you take insulin for the alcohol it will just lower your blood sugar since alcohol doesn't need insulin for it to be digested.

Hi i m male 29.weight 95 kg.my question is regarding my blood sugar.5 days ago randomly after heavy dinner i checked my bs and home gluco meter said 225 after almost 2 hours.then i checked half hour later and it was 182 after 3 and half hours it was 103.225 was high so in morning i went to lab with gluco meter and they picked blood from vein and tested on gluco meter ist it was 103 and in lab 87.lab technician told me that go home eat drink tea with sugar and come back after two hours.

Anything with carbs is going to spike your blood sugar. If your trying to stabilize blood sugar, I would recommend eating lots of protein and vegetables. As for carbs, choose the healthy carbs or brown rice and more slow digesting carbs. That way your blood sugar won't rise as high or fast. I'm type 1 diabetic and pregnant, so u have been testing blood sugar like crazy for a good amount of my life.

Is 130 high for blood sugar?

Has anyone else had extreme blood sugar drops? Mine gets to where i lose vision and cant walk or almost hurl everywhere:'( i already struggle with hyperglacimia would pregnancy make it worse??
