Avatar m tn I have Diabetes 2 and starting to record my daily test results. I have searched for sources to record the results and have found PDF sheets to record manually and some software products also. I prefer using a software designed for recording glucose test results but don't want one that also requires recording all that I eat. I keep a very simple record of what I eat and don't need to spend extra time recording all the details.
Avatar n tn Are there any chart available for conversion of sugar numbers from mg dl to mmol?
577285 tn?1706032371 Blood Sugar Tracker for us diabetic's out there please. It would be an invaluable tool for us to track this VITAL READING. Not only could it be based on those little log books that we all gotta carry around getting all dog eared and full of blood stains as well as getting more expensive to buy , but we could easily make a copy and bring the professional looking and easy to read Chart / Tracker to our Doctors.
Avatar f tn You then take your blood pressure at three different times during the day for three months. THIS is the actual recording of your blood pressure that will give history that you can use at the doctors. When taking your bp, sit comfortably still with both feet on the ground and arm at heart level. Think calm, peaceful thoughts. Then record. Some people do have 'white coat syndrome' where their blood pressure is higher in the doctor's office. https://www.healthline.
Avatar m tn Recently (few months back) she experienced her sugar level in around 230 (Fasting) and had to take new medicine. After that now the fasting blood sugar is somewhat OK. but the random blood sugar level still goes around 200 occasionally. The worse thing is now once in a week or two, her blood sugar level drops to around 50. When such a drop happens, she feels fainted and lot of sweat comes out. Today when we checked the sugar level it was 44 and then she took some sweets.
Avatar m tn You can buy on line Urine Reagent Strips quite cheaply. There are some that test the urine just for glucose, but they do not give an accurate recording of how much sugar there is in the blood stream. These sticks are a good indicator, but they will only detect glucose in the urine if there is above a certain level (fairly high) of glucose in the urine. An HbA1c blood test shows average blood glucose levels over a sustained period (about a 3 month period).
Avatar n tn Also considering your weight, are you diabetic? Do you check your blood sugar regularly? If so I would check it when you are having the issue to make sure you aren't experiencing a reaction to low blood sugar though that would likely have shown up while in the ER but but worth checking out. Well hang in there. I know waiting to find out what is going on is really hard. Just try to keep your mind distracted and do keep us posted on how you are. Take care.
Avatar f tn I'm having the same problem...can't delete my Crohn's/Colitis tracker despite checking, rechecking & following the instructions for deleting. (A memo comes up at the bottom of my page saying "Error on page".) Would like to see just a Bowel Habit tracker. I have chronic intermittent diarrhea & constipation. Thought the Crohn's/Colitis tracker would serve my needs but it didn't.
Avatar f tn Hi there I’ve had type 2 diabetes for 4 years now and my blood sugar used to be around 16.4 via blood monitor or 60 via blood test now after trial with medication and diet mods I’ve had it controlled between 7-9 for years but all of a sudden I’m feeling Dizzy, fatigued, nauseous, flushing cheeks, irritated easily, moody. Now when this started I tested my bloods at home to find it as low as 3.7 mmol/L so I had a sugary drink and some breakfast and it went up to 5.
Avatar f tn I failed my three hour and they had me on a diet and checking my blood sugar 4x a day. Plus I see a perinatalogist to checkon baby and make sure he's growing right. The diet didn't work for me like they wanted it to so I was put on glyburide twice a day. It's nothing to worry about really. It's just a pain to check your sugars all the time and not being able to give in to cravings is hard sometimes.

Avatar f tn am, I have a cyst on that part of my brain, which is why I have been on sleep meds for the past 4 years. She would only write me a 2 month script for the same meds that I had been on for 5 years. Due to the opioid epidemic. All I know is that I need help fast. I know my body and what is going on is not me.
Avatar f tn My baby is also like that, but if I am with my belly exposed to light for a while and after a little bit she will get used to it and start moving!
Avatar m tn Clearly you should cut out caffeine, and eat healthy (avoid sugars and low fiber foods as they tend to lead to roller coaster blood sugar levels which can get your mood to spiral out of control). Try to build in some calming routines (reading, puzzle books) to help settle you down when you start to feel anxious. Long walks may be helpful if that's physically safe for you. Do you sleep well?
72351 tn?1281992542 ) I just have a question as to how high ones sugar should be right after eating. I have been sick with walking pneumonia for the past few days and have been mostly drinking alot of orange juice (the medication I am having to take for it is making me really thirsty!

Avatar f tn I started charting in mid December. From what I understand, most women have a dip right before ovulation, and then once you have 3 temp increases, you can assume that ovulation has taken place. Are you using a website to help? If not, take a look at fertilityfriend.com. That's what I use and I love it. You can chart on there for free. It will tell you when you ovulated and then when you start a new cycle, it will give you the expected ovulation date for the next cycle.
Avatar m tn There are also trackers for your blood work on this site. Just click "trackers" and then "CBC". It is very easy to work with.
Avatar f tn In a case like this, where anxiety in the office setting may cause a falsely elevated blood pressure recording, I order ambulatory 24 hour blood pressure recording. It is a BP recording machine that you wear for 24 hours and bring back to the office. This will yield a more accurate depiction of your true blood pressure in a variety of settings. Now to answer your specific questions: 1. Inderal is not likely having a major effect on your blood pressure.
Avatar f tn They will give u diet restrictions & have u monitor and chart ur blood sugar levels every day.
