Blood high resolution

Common Questions and Answers about Blood high resolution

blood

Avatar f tn It depends. High blood pressure can have many etiologies. The reason for the high blood pressure must be determined. Unfortunately, in modern medicine, physicians jump to prescribe a pill. A certain percentage of patients (as many as ten percent) can solve their blood pressure problems by a D3 supplement and adding calcium to their diet. Those test results came from a study involving a thousand patients from a company seeking a new drug application for calcium channel blockers.
649848 tn?1534633700 i work in disability, and a large of people who apply are very overweight and have heart problems at young ages, in early 30s, diabetes, high blood pressure, etc. i want to be healthy for my kids, i want to be a good example for them and be able to keep up with them. and of course i want to look good, all through high school i was always around 110 and my high school reunion is in 2 years. and i've lost 30 pounds since middle of october, and already i have so much more confidence.
683231 tn?1467323017 Hi Lynn! My hemoglobin went down to 12 (from ~16) during the second week of treatment and stayed that low throughout. The test showed it went back to normal 4 weeks EOT (and I felt better already about 3 weeks after treatment) .
Avatar n tn Thank you. I am certainly ready to return to my "normal" because this is truly debilitating. I wouldn't wish this on anyone. I think it may have been that I didn't take it with food. I'm not really sure. I pray for resolution.
Avatar f tn I have disseminated granuloma annulare that initially would show up on elbows and inner arms when I started first beta blockers, then calcium blockers for high blood pressure. When I took lisinopril it become generalized. Stopping medication hasn't resulted in the rash disappearing. Do these drugs cause a permanent immune impairment that would explain this ongoing granuloma?
Avatar n tn I had blood work done on Monday and the results came back good except for my AST and ALT were high. I asked for possible answer from the doc and he said he didn't know but I may have Hepatitis. He said to wait 2-3 weeks have blood work done again and see if it was just a fluke or something.
Avatar m tn Do you know what "showed up" on the first one; CT? Are you SURE the CT was HIGH RESOLUTION? A High Resolution CT is NOT the same as regular CT. I can't really agree about seeing an ENT Specialist, but I feel she should see an Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon. Did she have any trauma to her face? Fall? Accidently hit in the face?
Avatar n tn Did you check your blood pressure? That can be a sign of high blood pressure.
Avatar f tn ve never been overweight, have no history of high blood pressure or diabetes or high cholesterol, and have never smoked. I have been recently been diagnosed with sleep apnea and have been using a CPAP machine for about 3 months. Although I use the CPAP every night, I have had problems adjusting to the pressure and I still feel extremely tired, weak, and sleepy during the daytime.
1438638 tn?1304946457 I know most POTS suffers have low blood pressure but my blood pressure actually rises on the tilt test.
535822 tn?1443976780 Well its Christmas day tomorrow , and next week we have New Year, I always make a New Year Resolution and very rarely keep it, are you strong ,do you make a resolution and keep it, or forget the next day ....Mine is to start walking more again , I used to love power walking and got out of the habit..
219609 tn?1210348114 I agree. I would definitely go over all supplements with a dr. Especially since you're taking water pills, ordinarily for high blood pressure, to lower calcium. Honestly, that's one's a mystery. Did the dr prescribe the water pills? I had to be on them too but only after my calcium got dangerously high (I mean, as in, hospital stay high). It was only temporary since it's not the best idea for high calcium but, apparently, will work if relief is needed fast.
Avatar f tn Recently I have been experiencing very high and very low blood pressure. I will be 160/120 and the drop to 90/50. Is this dangerous? I have always had normal blood pressure, but recently it has been really off (high and low). It will be high for a while, 30 minutes or so, and then suddenly drop very low. I can tell when it does this and makes me feel really bad.
Avatar f tn I went into the ER last week because of excruitiating pain and a blood test revealed a high creatinine level. Today I was diagnosed with hydronephrosis and hydroureter via ultrasound with no known obstruction. I have read that hydronephrosis could be a sign of pelvic cancers. Should I be worried about cancer considering I have both the cysts and the hydronephrosis now?
Avatar m tn , but I think this might be referred to as diastolic dysfunction, I think its a fairly common finding with high blood pressure.I think medications that reduce hypertension can be helpful in most cases.
Avatar m tn I am 35 pounds overweight and have moderately high blood pressure an elevated cholestrol, both of which are being treated. What testing, if any, would you suggest I undergo? What might be the cause of my symptoms and what can we rule out already?
Avatar f tn There is this new test offered after nine weeks called panorama it's a simple blood draw wich can detect certain abnormalities and y chromorome wich is found in males. 99% accurate on gender!!
Avatar f tn I went to mt Endo today to follow up on blood work she did because of episodes of high blood pressure plus headaches, fatigue, numbness, thirst . . . I sat for 10 minutes before sitting blood draw. Aldosterone, serum 14.1 ng/dL Renin Activity 0.4 ngmLhr Vitamin D, 25 OH 28.4 ng/mL (range 30 - 60) previous results from blood work earlier this year: Potassium 3.3 3.7 3.7 4.1 meq/L (range 3.5 - 5.
Avatar m tn My last two visits with my pain management Dr. showed that my blood pressure was quite high. Granted I was in a lot of pain at the time and I know that elevates it but seeing it twice in a row was rather alarming to me. I'm 5'11", 165lbs, 30yrs old, non-smoker, etc. I was also sick with some stomach bug, both times, and had been vomiting.
Avatar f tn For moms out there who were induced for hypertension how high did it get? How long was it that high? Did you have any high blood pressure before pregnancy?
Avatar m tn This can be seen in early Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis where the T4 is high (because of spillage from a damaged thyroid into the blood stream). The body can protect itself from excessive stimulation by converting more of the T4 into RT3 and less of it into T3. Thus, both hormones might be high or above optimal but the T3 will be found to the left of T4 on the scale. (e.g. TSH 0.8, FT4 1.
Avatar f tn Obtain high-resolution CT chest without contrast. This will show if you have centrilobular and/or paraseptal emphysema.
Avatar f tn Over the last two years my pulmonary Dr. has followed up with several CT scans including High Resolution. The findings on all of the CT scans has been pretty much the same. Ground-glass opacities in the lungs especially upper lungs and these are progressive from old high resolution exam. Bullous changes int the upper lungs. Correlate for COPD. Prominent axillary nodes. 3mm nodule left base. This was the findings on CT scan 12/07.
1215921 tn?1321568384 hard to say...if it's twins it would be a monoamniotic twin pregnancy I think and I can see some similarities....did she refuse to confirm or just say she doesn't know? the research I did says that you'll need a high-resolution ultrasound to confirm. How far along are you?
Avatar n tn You could ask your cardiologist about maybe doing a high resolution CT scan. However, this also uses a radioactive isotope and I'm not sure what effects this could have on the kidneys.
