Avatar m tn After about a month i started to get a clear discharge from my penis(very little and it happens here and there, however when i drink alcohol it gets worse and some pain exists)..I had an Gon/Clyh test done (actually two) and both came back Negative. The Dr. said they checked for infections in my urine as well..so I guess that ruled out NGU. Avatar n tn Alcohol can affect blood pressure - it can also upset the digestive process and cause heart burn - which can make it feel like the heart is racing. If it's only after he has a few too many - tell him to drink less; masking the symptoms with medications won't help in the long run.

Avatar m tn Today, (Monday) I have had loogies with blood in them throughout the entire day. I have tasted blood all day, and I have a very distinct feeling in my stomach, that just feels as though there is blood in it. I feel normal otherwise. Should I go see the doctor, or wait it out? P.S. Right now I NEVER want another drop of alcohol again.
Avatar n tn Thinking it might be NGU I went to my GP and he had me do a UA which came back clean with no elevated white blood cells. He did put me on Doxy 100mg twice a day for a week just to be safe. Been off doxy now for about 2 weeks. Anyway my question is, I am no longer seeing discharge at all, but sometimes I think there may be some mild burning when I pee. It comes and goes. I'm starting to think this is all due to anxiety but there's that what if that pops up in my head?
Avatar f tn I have so many physical symptoms. Dry mouth, no appetite, stomach problems, twitching, racing heartbeat. This first all started back when HIV was all over the news. I had a test back around 1998 and then one again in 2003 which both came up negative. I have been with my husband since 2002 and no one else. I also donated blood in 2004, 2005 and 2006. I just can't get the thought out of my head. It scares me so much. I constantly look up symptoms on the internet.

When you do have a first drink (remember moderation) do it in the company of a trusted friend so you can safely see the effect it has on you.

Avatar f tn Yes, alcohol affects blood sugar level - Each and Every time it's consumed. that being said, High blood sugar and high blood alcohol content would be 2 separate elements measured in Your blood. 80% of the alcohol from EVERY drink goes directly to the blood stream and, THAT is why You have high blood alcohol content. Four drinks would put everyones' blood alcohol above the legal limit Alcohol is harmful to the body - as is diabetes.
