Avatar f tn i have been having constant bloating, i look like im about 6 months pregnant.
Avatar m tn I hope someone can provide potential solutions. I am 59 female. July 2015 I had ruptured appendix, which I believe occurred almost two weeks before the surgery causing the doctor to cut about 4" of my colon and 12" of my small intestine and sewed them together. Now at 7-months later, I am still having problems with diarrhea, bloating, gas, etc. The doc provided prescription cholestyramine for oral, back in August daily. Then doc cut to a package every other day.
Avatar f tn I'm wonder if I'm alone in this? I've been experiencing a smell coming from my nose for about 2yrs now. It seems like over time it worsens..I could walk in a place and people would cough or place a hand by their nose. It's been complete nightmare in my life, I've confined myself away from friends and family. and the worse part of it all I can't smell anything. my sense of smell is super sensitivity meaning smelling something from a distance.
Avatar f tn I just battled the dreadful 24 hour stomach virus/flu. I was terribly sick on Monday with fever, vomiting, and diarrhea. Tuesday I suffered from weakness and really worked on gulping fluids and eating a bit more. Wednesday and today (Thursday), I've had awful bloating and mild stomach cramping. The bloating and gas are even work when laying down. Not only am I just uncomfortable, but I'm also self-conscious about my distended belly (not cute!).
Avatar n tn For 3 days in a row I have had stomach pain and extreme bloating. Has anyone else experienced this after quitting Hydrocodone? I took some Gas-X thinking that would help but it did not seem to make a difference. Any one experienced something similar after stopping?
Avatar f tn Hysterectomy, ovary removal or not, seems to affect metabolism because many women complain of weight gain. Although sometimes the surgery seems to cause transient bloating more so than permanent weight gain. This may be due to the effect on the bowels and maybe even the bladder (and hence the kidneys) since those organs are displaced (descend in the abdomen) after the uterus is removed.
Avatar n tn I am currently talking to a psichologist, and im taking medication, which he prescribed me due to my depression. My feet edemas are very uncomfortable and I also suffer from bloating after eating. Id like to know anything that could help with my condition, especially any advice regarding my feet edemas and solutions to diminish them. thank you very much. Silvia.
Avatar m tn However, I now suffer from a never ending battle with gas and bloating. I never burp and have not thrown up since the surgery. The gas gets so bad I look 9 months pregnant resulting in intense pain, shortness of breath and long long long releases of gas. I have finally figured out how to contort my body to ease that gas passage. I often wish I had never had the surgery. Anyone with similar issues and or solutions?

Avatar m tn I have bloating and gasses for two years now. Went to many doctors they all say that everything is ok, and that it will pass, they checked kidneys and liver say that all is OK. My stomach can not digest food I take in very well .. so it comes out in not solid form(soft) and dijarea sometimes. Tried diffrent diets avoiding lactose,gluten,fats,bread.. didnt help very much. I train 3-4 time a weak all my life, don t drink or smoke. Do you have any other solutions(ideas).
Avatar m tn Then a month later I got indigestion and bloating a couple of times and excessively loud stomach gurgling and by this I mean seriously not normal, which I have never had in my life before, started. It mainly gurgles after eating or drinking just about anything and will go on for a couple of minutes or more, and then will occasionally gurgle or bubble at other times, like when I lie down to go to bed. Its so loud it echoes everywhere!
Avatar m tn It does offer a few solutions but is loaded with a lot of obvious situations that I think everyone is familiar with and makes it hard to find the few solutions. However, I would like to suggest people POST ONLY WHAT HAS WORKED for them to reduce/eliminate diarrhea for those taking any of the SSRI's. Please go into details about THE SOLUTON. OK to list WHAT HAS NOT worked as well.
659607 tn?1247116266 Im having some bad bloating almost 2 yrs post Hysterectomy. Why? and what should I do? I changed the hormone replacement I was on and I feel 101 percent better than I did. The use in my arm and had back and all! I just am getting bloated and the weight jumps up and down like a yoyo. hope someone knows what to do..
Avatar m tn There is no day in the last three years that I am completely free of the pain or stiffness. Weight is not an issue (176 lbs.) but my abdomen has gotten that sagging, bloating look just like my dad. What's up, any guesses. Or is this old age settling in. If so its challenging more that I expect for my age. Haven't been 60 before. Thanks for any wisdom advice or solutions to try. Former weighlifting/bodybuilding for 15 years. ended thast when I was 41 yrs old.
1936411 tn?1333831849 I was super frustrated so I called a Shared Solutions nurse and instead of offering me any level of human compassion, she wasted my time trying to sell me on the 40mg prescription. I told her no way, but she kept on it trying to quote research and telling me that since their clinical trial lasted a "whole year" they have really good data. I cannot belive her audacity. I ended up having to tell her I wasn't interested three times before she shut her piehole.
Avatar n tn Hi, How are you? I would suggest you to try magnesium supplements. Magnesium is shown to be very effective in preventing migraine attacks. The other option is biofeedback therapy. Also have you been able to identify a trigger for your attacks? The best treatment for migraine is identification and avoidance of trigger. Hope this helps!
Avatar f tn My Dr. put me in touch with shared solutions when I was dignosed with MS 8 yrs ago. They have been very helpful to me since I don't have any health insurance. i went through Nord first and that took about 6 months before I heard anything on wether I would get any help then 6 more weeks before I received my first 3 month supply of copaxone. I now get assistance from a place in Fla. I hear from them within a month after I send in all of the info that they need.
