bloating legs

I am really struggling to find out what is causing me to bloat so drastically, well what I think is classed as bloating. I can be a normal size 10 one day and all my clothes fit, and then literally the next day I have ballooned up to a size 14! And that's not just my stomach, my bum, my legs and even my arms get bigger, struggling to fit in my normal clothes so I have to wear something bigger and baggy.

my grandmother is having bad bloating problem and she frequently have headaches after bloating. After eating food she will start to bloat. plz tell me wat shud i do 2 stop her problem.

For the past year and a half I have been experiencing swollen legs and stomach bloating. The leg swelling primarily affects my calves, and somewhat my thighs, but it doesn't extend to my ankles or feet. It is non-pitting and gets worse as the day goes on. I usually wake up with my calves back to normal size, but they progressively swell throughout the day, with them at their worst at night. I also have stomach and digestive issues, and bloating has been another constant symptom.

I also had numbness in one of my legs and was so afraid I had a blood clot. I was told mnot to worry that the swelling in my legs were water retenion and that the numbness in my leg was probably due to the positioning during my surgery. 2 days later the swelling and numbness was gone. The bloating is to be expected. I am 2 weeks post surgery and still feel bloated. My sugesstion is not to eat anything heavy for a while. I did and I'm paying for it now.

I have yet to take the drug but I am going to let you know if it also helps with the itchy legs. I really dont think the itchy legs are caused by histamines. I think the problem is Eosinophil mediated. It makes sense that inhibiting leukotriene's might solve both problems. Very simple - are you bloated all the time or do you just bloat after eating during the day, then deflate overnight? When I first started the bloating I thought it was potty problems. But nope, that was working well. Then I figured it had to do with my goofy heart, just some fluid retention that I piddled out overnight. I have been diagnosed with Hashimotos and my doctor just upped my dose of Armour to 60mg after blood test of T4 being .8...........and since then I have had a lot of excesive bloating...........my legs especially...........I have gone up 2 pants sizes as well. This has happened in a few weeks. What might be up???? Could I be allergic to Armour??? Nothing makes the water go away.

Hi! My wife underwent an embryo transfer last week. This was our 2nd, the 1st one resulted in an ectopic pregnancy. After the transfer she developed severe acne, also has bloating & cramps sometimes. Today she started complaining of intermittent leg pain. Are these common after the transfer? We will know the result early next week but the wait is taking a toll on her mental health. Do you think that "bloating" feeling is contractions? Place your hand on your belly. When you feel your entire stomach bunch up and tighten, you are having a contraction. I couldn't feel my early contractions unless I had my hand on my belly. Anyway, time the contractions. Many women feel contractions in their legs and back, too. I think your time may be coming!!!

Yup, unfortunately. The belly might be bloating, especially if you're gassy. I'm showing (twelve weeks) but I've gone down a lot in bump size sincey bloating went away. I have preexisting back problems that are just made worse by being pregnant.

One of the side effects that I have read about from long term untreated hypothyroidism is edema of the legs. When you get your blood test results back, ask for a copy of the data. Don't just accept from the doc that everything is "normal". The best test for hypo t is free T3, along with free T4. Also, don't let doc get by with checking only TSH. In the interim, if you want a good indication of your metabolism/thyroid condition, take your temp.

I'm 39 wks and since sat my feet are getting so swollen it hurts to move them it even affects my legs I've elevated and even soaked them but nothing. Does anyone know what can help?

Hello, I didn't have a laparoscopy (got the big 'ole incision), but I'm guessing the bloating is from gas. If it helps; we all end up with that problem no matter the incision type. Try to move around as much as is comfortable...That kinda gets things moving down there. How long has it been since your surgery. I'm, also sure, that plenty others will have advice for you too. ve been getting very tingly arms right down to the tip of my fingers and also in my legs. They also feel numb and like blood is rushing to them like when you have your blood pressure done.
