Common Questions and Answers about Bloating legs

gas

Yes, I am so bloated, but the swelling in my legs have gone away. I think that my bloating now is because of my diet (eating too much too soon). I have horrible gas and having a bowel movement is so difficult. I am 1 wk, 4 days post surgery.
I pray for you that you might not have cancer but usually Cirrhosis of the Liver or Cancer make you bloating, my mom is 65 with overian cancer and we had to take her to the hospital to have her belly drain twice already, first time she lloked more like a 10 month pregnant lady. God Bless and I hope you go to the hospital emergency soon for a professional opinion. Dermoid cysts of the ovary are fairly common and most often affect young women around the age of 30.
my grandmother is having bad bloating problem and she frequently have headaches after bloating. After eating food she will start to bloat. plz tell me wat shud i do 2 stop her problem.
Very simple - are you bloated all the time or do you just bloat after eating during the day, then deflate overnight? When I first started the bloating I thought it was potty problems. But nope, that was working well. Then I figured it had to do with my goofy heart, just some fluid retention that I piddled out overnight. I mentioned it to my doctor (the swollen feet and ankles, hands and tummy). That's when I found out about my little cystic friend. Ick. Anyway, just wondering.
I have had a lot of abdominal bloating, but I also get a feeling of fullness/heaviness higher up, closer to my stomach. Has anyone else experienced this? Also, I tend to get a shooting/stabbing pain near the ovary where the cyst is located. Many times that pain radiates to my rectum. Is that normal? Could it be that the cyst is putting pressure on other organs? That seems hard to believe since it is only about 3cm which seems small to me.
Another new SX. Bloating between the 'girls' and bellybutton. Not below, but above. Looks like a wrap-around-about-to-burst ballooon. It's not painful or too uncomfortable but it sure looks awful! Anyone else get this inflated appearance in that region while on TX? Wyntre Oh, G1A, 32 weeks of 72 week TX.
I'm having a pinching feeling in my legs and bloating in my abdomen This discussion is related to Ovarian cancer.
I have yet to take the drug but I am going to let you know if it also helps with the itchy legs. I really dont think the itchy legs are caused by histamines. I think the problem is Eosinophil mediated. It makes sense that inhibiting leukotriene's might solve both problems. Stay tuned I will give an update soon This discussion is related to Itchy legs, no sign of rash or irritation.

For the past year and a half I have been experiencing swollen legs and stomach bloating. The leg swelling primarily affects my calves, and somewhat my thighs, but it doesn't extend to my ankles or feet. It is non-pitting and gets worse as the day goes on. I usually wake up with my calves back to normal size, but they progressively swell throughout the day, with them at their worst at night. I also have stomach and digestive issues, and bloating has been another constant symptom.
I have a stomach pain that kind of travels down my buttocks and sometimes into my legs. It is in the lower right quandrant of my abdomen. I am a 23 year old student, pretty healthy for the most part. The dull achy pain has been chronic like a year. But now I have symptoms like constant indigestion, bloating, and nausea. If I bear down I a bubble will come up my esophogus.
My main symptoms were indigestion, pain on the back and legs and hip and then bleeding after sex. My bloating has all been after the operation! I am 7 weeks post op today!! (left ovary and 11cm cyst gone) and I have to say that I have more bloating and discomfit in the abdomen than I had before! I am hoping that it goes down soon as it looks and feels awful.
Pressing on my stomach and crunching my legs up towards the stomach are very uncomfortable. The first time it woke me up and lasted from about 6 in the morning until close to 4 in the evening. The second time it began during a long Saturday morning run and lasted for a day and a half. A possible third time would have been about 2 years ago and it only lasted through the evening, but I can't be sure it was exactly the same.
I've suffered with a cronic problem for years with bloating, pressure, never feeling hungry. I wonder if it could be heart disease. When it's at its worst I feel pressure in my chest and back and some times the heart area. I did have a heart murmur when I was born and had some heart surgery when I was little. I have always thought it had to be something wrong in my digestive tract but maybe it could be heart disease. I'm desperate. Thank you for your help.
I'm a 27 year old woman and I've been suffering from severe bloating for several years now. It's got worse lately, to the point where I sometimes look several months pregnant. I've been blaming it on IBS and tried all sorts of different diets to fix it, with little or no success, but I've recently found out that I have a large cyst (grapefruit size) on my left ovary which the doctor thinks is probably caused by endometriosis. I'm currently on the waiting list for an operation to remove it.
What you are describing can be symptoms for many things. These can include ovarian cysts and ovarian cancer. Since it is pretty rare for women your age to have ovarian cancer and since more than 95% of all cysts are benign let's asssume you are dealing with a cyst. I had all the symptoms you are describing and had benign cysts. You should check out the health pages (top right) and look at the listing for types of cysts and symptoms.
Ihave had persistent lower abdominal bloating, that seemed to come on suddenly about 2 weeks after xmas.New pants I had bought didn't fit 2 weeks after I bought them. I have been working out and firmed up everywhere but there. My abdomen is no bigger but no smaller,Even after taking laxatives, anti gas etc.Plenty of gas, but no gas pains. I now get constipated easily but am eating tons of fibre and drinking water.
I am experiecing a regular bloating which in turn has been causing lower back pain that radiates down to my legs. When I don;t bloat there is less back pain. Can IBS or other gastrointestinal problem cause the lower back and leg pain? Thank you.
My husband spent all night feeling extreme abdominal pain from what he thinks is bloating. today his bowel movements are not working as normal. anybody experienced sth similar? he's on the 7th week of treatment.
Dear Hailz91, What we have seen that Yasminella is sometimes know to give a "Metallic taste". So we need to be careful while taking this medicine. There is not much precaution we can take as it's a known side-effect. Can you think of some other methods, if your partner is ready? Lets discuss, if you are open for it.
Lastly I've had a scaly itchy skin issue that has been present for at least 10+ years, for the most part they appear on my legs or hands but recently it has gotten much worse as I have a big rash on my left leg and one on my hand. Before I'd only have a single rash about the size of a penny but this one on my leg is much bigger. Some pictures are below, sorry about my hairy legs :-) http://imgur.com/ayaF0dQ http://imgur.com/VE9NCVu http://imgur.com/iGWtl0h Sorry for such a long message.
I am all bloated up since 8 days past embryo transfer. Pregnancy test came positive and doctor said the bloating due to fluid accumulation in the abdomen is because of the HCG hormones.Today is day 16 past transfer. I have been suffering past one week and tummy looks like I am 5 months pregnant. Yesterday, I was rushed to ER because of pain in my legs. Doc thought it was clots but luckily that was ruled out. While I was there they removed 1600ml of fluid from my tummy. It was very painful.

I went back on it and for a week I have had stomach discomfort, bloating and constipation. I don't know if the estrogen is the cause of this or if it's because I am under a lot of stress.
Im 23 years old and have been having chronic pain in my lower abdomen for the past couple months. With that I have bloating 24/7 and constipation. I've also gained about 35 pounds in the last three months which is really abnormal for me. I don't eat things that are bad for me if I even want to eat at all. Lately the pain feels like it's getting worse as well as for the past week I've been spotting dark brown thick blood. I've had ovarian cysts in the past.
I considered myself digestive problem free until right after this. I suffered from constipation, gas, bloating, nausea. It was all unrelated to any food that I ate. The doctors suspected IBS. I had a test for parasites and a CBC. I learned to "stomach" the symptoms. I eat very, very well. I'm rarely feeling perfect, but I've managed. Then, another symptom started. Sometime during the day I will feel tired, then nausea, then my stomach will start spasming.
itching legs. When I stand for even a minute or few minutes my ankles and calves and legs start to itch. I sat down and the itching has sort of spread all over. There is no rash. This happens most after meals. Could this be a reaction to toxins in my body that could also cause stomach problems? I sort of fit the description in some ways to Dopamine Beta-Hydroxylase Deficiency. It causes hypoglycemia and it has a strange but familiar other symptom.
I am not sure what level of medication (Levothyroxine) she takes daily but since having the treatment she has developed very swollen uncomfortable legs. Is this a side effect of the medication or is it a symptom of being hypothyroid? Would adjusting her medication levels help, does anyone have experience of this which has been resolved? Also, I stupidly had a chest xray when I was pregnant, I don't remember wearing a protective apron.
