Bloating hot weather

Common Questions and Answers about Bloating hot weather

gas

I experience a lot of stomach bloating in hot and humid weather. In the winter and when I travel to a place with cold climate I do not get this problem, but during summer usually in the hot afternoon when I'm outside my stomach tends to bloat a lot to the point of getting uncomfortable with the clothing. If I'm in an air-conditioned room this problem usually tends to go away too.
Not sure what is causing your bloating but it wouldn't hurt to avoid sodium especially in processed foods. I've never loved the heat but since being dx'ed with MS it makes me miserable. Bottom line for me, I just don't enjoy the summer. I dread when it's looming and I'm glad when it's over. I absolutely love the fall weather, to me it is the perfect time of year. My biggest challenge in summer is to avoid complaining and dragging down everyone around me. I need to work on this!
She also said that I take immodium which does help and I know the hot weather here in Rhode Island isn't helping at all and my anxiety attacks which I did have on the way to the doctors
I often sit with a hotwater bottle with boiled water on my tummy and lower stomach. With the cold weather I do hate it and this keeps me warm, especially sitting but I noticed just before I my cycle this month a pain like a bruise just above the right region near the pelvis and hip bone. Having 3 children this is the area I first felt them growing and a bloating feeling.
2-3 litres is recommended, more if you sweat, the weather is hot, or you work out at the gym. Doing exercise or simply going for a walk will also help to move your bowels. If it is difficult and painful for the faeces to come out, you can get glycerine or proctosedyl suppositories to ease the evacuation. Best wishes.
I feel extremely uncomfortable in hot weather. I can feel a little bit of chest tightness when exercising. I would like to know if the burning sensation is due to carpal tunnel syndrome or due to peripheral neuropathy ? If it is peripheral neuropathy do you think based on the symptoms above, it is affecting or likely to affect my heart ? Is it true that peripheral neuropathy is frequently associated with restless leg syndrome.?
The problem does not stop there. Running and exercising, however, makes both issues much worse, as does hot/humid weather, and increasing hydration does not make any difference either. Thanks!
Muscle twitches in all different locations, off and on. Some to severe ( especially in hot weather ) light headedness and weak. In hot, humid weather, have to concentrate to keep my balance and not pass out outside. Extreme fatigue most of the day and lack of concentration. Hard to drive a car, for example, fall to sleep a few minutes into driving anywhere. Vision gets blurry in the evenings. Can't drive at night at all, from night vision blindness.
I will have a cat scan on Tuesday and if that looks good, we will schedule a date to remove my ports. I was Diagnosed 1c on Dec. 20th of last year. I feel good, don't look so hot, but I am not too concerned about that. Today, Dr. cleared me to start back to work full time. I am getting some normalcy back. I want to thank everyone at this site. You mean so much to me and are just fabulous. I want to say that I realize that I am very fortunate that my OVCA was caught early.
sometimes it gets intense to the point where If Im standing or walking, I'll wobble a little bit. my face and neck is also very hot, but I checked my temperature and that seems to be normal. A day ago, I've started to be quite hot all over which is really a bother because If I have the ac on, only parts of my body will stay cold, while my torso area and up stays hot.
Gilda talked about her fevers in her book. Has anyone else had this as a symptom?
I've had both, a few 5 day drip series, and a once a month for 4 months series (when the weather is HOT) and did not take oral steroids after either. I never had the problems my sister has, sleeplessness, bloating, feeling wound up . . . I do get the metalic taste in my mouth though. (She never took taper meds either. That's my 2 cents, for what they're worth.

She didn't say anything about the bloating and pressure though. It's like having a period without the period and hurts as bad or worse. She ran 2 urine test due to blood in the urine, gave me a script for Zanaflex and Rx for my throat. I guess it has some ulcers on it. I told her about the 3 sec. stabbing headaches, palps and pains I feel in my chest, neck, & stomach and all over body pains. BP was up a little 151/92 but not to bad.....(probably white coat type thing).
I increased the amount of salt in my diet, and drink at least 3-4 litres of fluids a day, more in hot weather. I eat small meals/snacks throughout the day as my digestive troubles are lessened. If I eat too much starch in a meal, my BP sometimes drops too much. I have compression stockings that I wear if I know I will be on my feet a lot that day. My symptoms worsen in hot weather, so I have to be careful about activity then.
However, for me, I recall that just standing up in one case, and in another case rolling over in bed, could trigger the episode. Heat, as in hot weather, seemed to be a problem for me at least once. As for the spotting, it is my understanding that is one characteristic of "running out of estrogen." So, it is likely that there is indeed nothing wrong with you at all, but it never hurts to seek a second opinion, especially when something is troubling you.
(No family history) Would birth control pills be a good course of action? Which hormone(s) are likely unbalanced here? No hot flashes but occasional mild night sweats.

I have to ask, anyone had this problem before, with verapamil or maxzide ? and or due to the hot weather conditions. I called my Doctor about this problem , he laughed at me , and said oh take some ex-lax relax it will be ok ! the cramps also triggered my back to pull out ! and now im seeing a D.C. for that issue !! why me ?? I cant win !!
Have only 1 mth ago taken Omeprazole-seem to stop some reflux-but seems to cause probs with breathing -felt like belt being tightened round my diaphragm so much-was hunching over (without realizing sometimes) when walking. seem to have more in hot weather,- alcohol relieve symptoms?!Since joined new GP they have assessed records, this week test for H pylori.-result in 2 days. Above&beyond all of this though - in the last 12-18months have been losing weight without trying or wanting to.
