Avatar n tn Please try not to worry, from my past pregnancies, your symptoms all seem perfectly normal. Lower back pain and bloating is all very common in early pregnancy. Try not to worry, i say everything should be fine! It all sounds normal to me!
Avatar f tn I am 12 weeks along and the back pain is getting to me. Doctor said it's normal but I'm not even big yet. I fear it will only get worse as time goes on. Getting a body pillow this weekend. Any suggestions of pillows, stretches anything to help?
Avatar n tn I have been having pain in my lower abdomin and always feel bloated and feeling like I have to go to the bathroom all the time. My dr. seems to be concerned that the endo is coming back but I dont' have the same kind of pain as that. It is different. I can't explain but it is not the same. What kind of pain do you feel with ovarian cancer and how accurate are the tests that they do for the bloodwork? Any info would be great.
Avatar f tn Hell and Welcome to the Pain Mangement Forum I am so sorry to hear about your painful bloating. Your symptoms could indicate other thing besides Celiac Disease. However because it is familiar condition, (prominent or hereditary in some families) I would highly consider this possibility. Celiac Disease, a malabsorption disease that flares with the consumption of the protein gluten.
Avatar f tn I just got done having severe left side pain with alot of gas and bloating. The back pain gets so bad that I had to quit a job that required hours of standing. BUT, now the back pain is there when I sit , also. Any ideas what I should do?? Thanks!
Avatar f tn I went to a primary care doctor yesterday and they did a urinalysis and some xrays of my back that all came back normal. I had a pelvic exam in March that didn't raise any red flags, but I am wondering if I should contact the gynecologist at this point or if I'm over reacting?
Avatar f tn I have had pain for 4 weeks now. Originally diagnosed as kidney stones. I was put on antibiotics for a week on day 4 and booked in for an ultra sound. I was also given diclofenac to help with the pain. Avo upper data later the pain did not get better. I went back to the doctors and they weren't sure it was a kidney stone. Occasionally pain worsened on some days. Was prescribed codeine for when I needed it. I continued having pain and was signed off work. I only had fever on day 2.
Avatar n tn But whenever I stand for long time or after sleep, I have the feeling of gas accumulation, which presses my pelvic floor causing pain there and the lower back region. I am not taking anymore simethicone. But the bloaty feeling and pain in the lower back and pelvic region still persists. Is it because of the levothyroxine medication? Should I try branded drug instead of generic ones as discussed in some forums.
Avatar n tn The first time she was given herceptin and vinorelbine she experienced severe back pain and was given a concoction of very strong pain killers. Ever since that treatment she has been having lower back pains. She is currently not on any continuous medication except for the chemotherapy drugs and the occasional pain killer. Currently she also has 2 ureteral stents in place for slight hydronephrosis. However the urine did not contain any traces of blood or wbc.
Avatar n tn But uterine fibroids can also cause consistand pelvic pain, very heavy periods, back pain, cramping that runs down the thighs, and a heavy feeling in your pelvis. Some of your symptoms could be consistant with tubal pregnancy also. Even a good dose of influenza can cause the lymph glands in your thighs to be sore, but there are even worse reasons for this too. That's why you really need to get to a doctor.
Avatar f tn i'm on my 2nd ivf cycle and the first one was a no go but this time i'm experiencing lower back pain and i just want to know if it's normal to have this cause i didn't the last time?

Avatar m tn I thought symptom was for early pancreatitis, but no typical symptoms for that other than the bloating and back pain. I do not see any other cause of back pain associated with bloating in all my research. Bloating (without gas) associated with back pain is an odd combination of symptoms. I am now starting to take ibuprofen for the pain. (I am 68 years old.) Any help on this please? I am at a loss. Thanks, WillPower PS: High to all my Hep C friends of the past!
Avatar f tn i have had abdominal bloating ( almost feels swollen) for the last few weeks. had some lower abdominal pain. constipation which got resolveds with a stool softener, lots of fluids, and prayer. had constipation for well over a week. woke up this morning with pressure and pain in right shoulder blade and when i tried to take a deeper breath, it hurt in the upper right abdomin. have had lots of belching and some gas. saw a doctor last friday and was checked for vaginal ultrasound monday.
Avatar f tn I started having pretty severe mid to upper back pain (above bra line) days ago. I first thought I hurt my back But now I e noticed bloating and burning abdominal pain. I have been very stressed so I wasn’t sure if I could have aggravated gallbladder, caused ulcer or could be pancreatitis. Normal stools and no nausea however.
Avatar f tn I starting having severe pain and bloating 4 years ago. Diagnosed with celiac after a rough pregnancy and needed TPN. Felt so much better on the PIC line. My bloating web away and is now back. I am very religious about eating gluten free. The pain is now in back. Very similar to back labor pain. I have 4 children I know this pain. Lol. I also have weakness and slight numbness in right leg when in pain.
Avatar n tn i was diagnosed with endometreosis stage 2, endometreial polyps and endometreosis of the culdsac, tubes and overies and uterus. endometreosis causes severe pain. mine feels like back labor it very seldom hits the abdomen. 3 surgeries and and a D&C later i'm better.
Avatar m tn I've been experiencing lower left abdominal twinges the last several months. I've also had noticable lower abdomial bloating as well (it's not weight gain, I've even dropped a couple). My annual pap and pelvic in december came back with 'an infection' and anti-biotics were perscribed that I took & finished. I'm still having twinges and bloating. I don't even know if theyr'e related.
Avatar f tn For almost a year now I have been having problems with abdominal bloating and pain. I had gall bladder surgery 4 months ago and it seemed a little better at first. I have consistent bouts of diarrhea where I go 5-10 times a day. When I go to the bathroom, I cannot get it to stop even though it feels like I do not need to go anymore. I have seepage that constantly comes out for about 5 minutes after each bowel movement. I also have sharp pains in my lower right abdomen.
Avatar m tn Anyways, is it possible to strain your stomach muscles without even knowing it. I mean I had a difficult bowel movement 2 days ago, but could bloating and a difficult bowel make my "truck" feel like I laid down to do 100 sit ups, or could this be something else? Any thoughts or past experiences would be appreciated.
Avatar f tn I was switched to pantoprazole and that seemed to work for about 3 weeks but now I’m back to feeling bloating and crampy again. I am not sure what to do at this point. I’m worried about it being something more serious like stomach cancer, but also don’t want to be a headcase. Any thoughts?
Avatar m tn Just to sit for about 5 min. without lean on something makes my back hurts. I also have belching, bloating, flatulence and headache too. Also i feel my stamina is decreasing too as when jogging or running, I can only do it much less(getting fatigue faster) than before. I've visited several doctor and had MRI for my head and back, but the result says nothing wrong. I also had x-ray and the result says I have GERD. I also had physio therapy for a several times but it doesn't get any better.
