For the past 4 months I've had heavier than normal periods with a lot of sharp pain during them. Then, for the past two months I've had bleeding in between periods as well. The in between bleeding normally lasts about one day, but it is heavy enough that it turns the toilet red and I can see clots in it. This month I've already had it happen twice and my periods only been over for about two weeks. I'm not on any birth control and haven't been for a long time.
Ive been diagnosed with Chlamydia and took Azithromycin on Friday, then 3 days later I'm experiencing a little bit of vaginal bleeding. I won't be starting my period for another 2-3 weeks and I never "spot" or "bleed" in between periods. I've also got done with treating a yeast infection with a 7 day cream. Does this bleeding mean Chlamydia is still there? And the medicine is taking awhile to kick in?
No, the urine test the doctor/GYN uses to test for a bladder infection is different than the pregnancy urine test. Since it's been a long time (I assume) between periods, you might get a pregnancy blood test done. The blood test is more accurate than a HPT. Good luck!
others have lower abdominal pain, low back pain, nausea, fever, pain during intercourse, or bleeding between menstrual periods or after intercourse.
no I do not think you need worry of cancer !!! I am aware of foul odor being associated with a bacterial infection, If you have a fever over or at 101. or if your pain is a 7 or above on the pain scale, call your doctor again,,if they can not fit you in on that day i would go to an urgent care clinic...
When I went to my doctor he said it was endometriosis. I used to bleed alot in between periods and when having sex. I don't really have any pain. Every now and then I do have pain in my lower abdomen. I don't have any pain during sex. Now I'm not having any irregular bleeding but still bleeding during sex. When I went to the doctor I did have a bacterial infection and I was treated for that.
As long as there is a full 20 days between bleeding it can be considered a period. You should let your doctor know you are still bleeding, have them check your levels again (mine went back up after dropping because of that tissue that was still left) And if it doesn't release within a minimal amount of time they will want to do a D&C so you don't get an infection. Many women say there first few periods after a miscarriage is really heavy with clotting.
I had a scan and they said i had blood clots and an infection but no retained tissue. I was given antibiotics for a week, the bleeding didnt stop i was refered back and i had another scan and they told me i had retained tissue from the pregnancy. I had another dnc and was told my period would return between 4 to 6 weeks this hasnt happened but i have had two episodes of severe pain in my pelvis lasting for 4 to 5 days each time and exactly 4 weeks apart .
I had my breast bleeding after a few days of pain of my two breasts. I thought I'm going to have my menstruation because of the breast pain, however, I just found out that my left breast is starting to bleed. It doesn't bleed constantly. It usually takes two to five minutes for the next bleeding. The blood easily clot or form and I had painful nipple on my left breast. The center of the nipple is deep. On the other right breast, it usually have a white discharge and with a fowl smell.
Hello, Main causes of spotting between periods could be due to pregnancy, birth control pills, infection in an area of the body related to menstruation (including the vagina, the cervix and even the bladder). Other causes could be polycystic ovarian syndrome, diseases of pituitary gland, hormonal imbalance of estrogen and progesterone and uterine abnormalities like fibroid and cervical dysplasia.
