I am 10wks and 5days and the prescribed me a pregnancy safe antibiotic to get rid of the infection. Pregnant women can be more susseptable to getting bladder infections than women who aren't pregnant and I don't exactly remember why, but just make sure you are drinking plenty of water throughout the day and using the restroom when you have the urge.

can my girlfriend get a bladder infection after we had unprotected sex while i'm on the pegasys/ ribaviron treament. was curious if that was another reason they wanted us to use condoms and the pill too. wasn't sure if my semen can cause an infection or not, this is twice it has happend since i started treament a month and a half ago.

Hello, From the symptoms that you have mentioned, the first possibility that comes to my mind is gall bladder colic or biliary colic. It can be due to cholecystitis(inflammation of gall bladder) or gall bladder stones. I would suggest an ultrasound abdomen to confirm the diagnosis. Resently Doctor decided to take Urine test and found bladder infection and gave me CIPRO as an antibiotic. I feel rush under my ribs and pain in the back (right side). Do you think that this infection can cause that? I am still taking this CIPRO things and hope that this'll help. Good grief! You need to get your dog to a vet as soon as possible. Urinary infections are extremely painful as you may know if you've ever had one yourself. This is more than a simple infection and you need a vet to assess his symptoms. It's possible he may have developed bladder stones which can be fatal if not removed. Please make that call now!

i never had a sinus infection during pregnancy, but its not impossible. i did have bladder, kidney and UTIs throughout my pregnancy (i have bladder issues to begin with). the metalic taste can be from either, same with the vomiting but from the sounds of it, it could be a morning sickness thing. with my son the smell of my shampoo (that i used for 10yrs before that) would make me vomit every time.

Your symptoms a shouting bladder infection you need antibiotics, get to a dr quick he will likely just make you pee in a cup highly doubt hed even do a vaginal exam. left untreated bladder infections can be a real problem,,,they also have a special kind of pain pill just speciffically for bladder infections you will only need it for three days because by then the anitbiotics ( Cipro ) is a good one for bladder or urinary tract, your dr or a clinc dr will know that.

I have a bladder infection, I think. So I called my Dr and told him what was going on. He prescribed Septra generic DS. It made me so sick that I called him back and asked what to do and he said it would be alright to take a half pill twice a day instead of a whole one. This is the second time I've had a bladder infection in two months. The first time was when I was in the hospital. No catheter was used. They sent me home with a script for Septra and it cleared up with in 5 days.
