One day later I developed upper respiratory Covid symptoms. Coincidence? Antibiotics cleared up the infection as I retested two weeks later and all was clear. However I'm now having to urinate constantly. I have test strips and no problems are showing up. Also my left flank hurts. Other than that I feel like I've recovered although I feel some dizziness here and there and brain fog. I am a 68 year old male who was in great health before this infection got me.

Here's a conversation I am having with a doc over the net about my symptoms. Actually, I'm not even sure if they are symptoms. I would add to this that I experienced some pretty mild abdominal pain for a few days, right under my rib cage. Also, it sometimes takes a second or two for me to get my urine flow started. Is this considered hesitation? It's steady once it starts, other then extremely mild dribbling and I can't really tell, but I think it's normal strength.

Also did ct scan and xray of stomach End result was bladder infection and she was told that she had no good or bad bacterias in her intestine. They send her home with antibiotics and said thats all we can do for you. Bottom line she continues to get sicker and her PCP is shaking his shoulders. Her OB is still finding blood in her urine with no answers. She is sent from doc to doc and she gets no diagnosis because there are so many doctors involved and the DO NOT talk to each other.

Resently Doctor decided to take Urine test and found bladder infection and gave me CIPRO as an antibiotic. I feel rush under my ribs and pain in the back (right side). Do you think that this infection can cause that? I am still taking this CIPRO things and hope that this'll help. Do you know if lymph nodes can case pain or infection could go up from bladder and affect other areas? Please help!
Good grief! You need to get your dog to a vet as soon as possible. Urinary infections are extremely painful as you may know if you've ever had one yourself. This is more than a simple infection and you need a vet to assess his symptoms. It's possible he may have developed bladder stones which can be fatal if not removed. Please make that call now!

He give me spasm medication and referred me to a urologist. Fast forward another week still having UTI symptoms. Bladder medication for spasms was changed twice due to side effects. Saw urologist ct scan neg for stones and was otherwise normal, had blood work which was all normal. Had a cystoscope which showed inflammation at the bladder neck and urethra.

Its possible that none of this is related to sex, and you have something else going on. Is there an urgent care center you can go to over the weekend? Perhaps you have a urinary tract infection, etc.
