bladder infection no pain

I've had frequent bladder infections throughout this whole pregnancy , idk why it keeps coming back . It feels like a constant push on my bladder it's very uncomfortable . To me it was a mild pain , but not really pain ! Almost felt like my baby was always trying to come out . Like a constant urge to pee but your bladder be empty !

I had a cyst removed from my left ovary(4 lbs) in 2001, it was there for a long time and I believe that it shifted my bladder and that is where the pain is comming from.Now I have the pain back and I do have a cyst on my right ovary and who knows how big it is now, it feels huge, i'll know in a few weeks. The pain that I thought was infection was really pressure and influmation.

Resently Doctor decided to take Urine test and found bladder infection and gave me CIPRO as an antibiotic. I feel rush under my ribs and pain in the back (right side). Do you think that this infection can cause that? I am still taking this CIPRO things and hope that this'll help. Do you know if lymph nodes can case pain or infection could go up from bladder and affect other areas? Please help!

ve had a bladder infection in two months. The first time was when I was in the hospital. No catheter was used. They sent me home with a script for Septra and it cleared up with in 5 days. This time I'm on day 7 and I'm still having some pain and urgency. No burning during urination, just the pain and the need to urinate a lot. I'm really getting concerned. My Dr said to stay on the meds for 7 days and if I still had symptoms to see my Gynecologist.

Soo this morning I peed blood and called the doctor right away.. He said most likely its a bladder infection or a kidney stone (which I haven't had any back pain or cramps) He called in some medicine for me. I'm 10 Weeks and 3 days. He said my baby is most likely just fine. Im a ftm and just worried! Have any of you ladies had a bladder infection while Prego? I just need some good advice. Thanks!

Does anyone have or had a bladder infection (UTI) during pregnancy? What did u do to get rid of it without meds? Doctor refused to give meds and I'm glad she didn't.

Prior to being diagnosed with MS I was diagnosed with Interstitial Cystitis due to bladder pain and frequency. It's been at least a year since I suffered from that but it's now back. If it is a symptom of the MS would steroids help?

You definitely need to call your doctor because bladder infections and uti's can hurt the baby if not treated properly. I know how it is, I've had chronic uti's and bladder infections since i was little. What i do is drink a gallon of cranberry juice in a day, pee as much as possible.

thing is, i told my doctor that the bladder infection was coming back within days and they prescribed the same thing. i have been tested for STD's, i'm clean.

I had his urine tested again and no infection so we removed him from the Nitrofloxium. Although his stools are harder, the overall pain and discomfort is worsening. I have an appt set up with the urologist to check for possible bladder problems. The pain has become unbearable and his quality of life is poor. Two days later I was admitted to same day emergency care blood in urine again I had a bladder scan and Kidney scan. No stones. But water retention so they fitted a catheter. And send home with antibiotics. I’ve still got blood in my urine but no infection but I guess this is the catheter now doesn’t explain blood pre catheter.

I'd call the Dr. Sounds like a UTI. Verrrry common during pregnancy because of the extra weight on the bladder your body cannot always properly empty the bladder, leading to infection. I'd call...no reason to suffer. Until you call though cranberry juice has been known to help with UTI issues...wouldn't recommend anything OCT though.

by the way, i am only 20 and this is the 1st bladder infections i've had in my life!

when it started I had frequent urination and that was really it so I thought maybe I had a bladder infection. I made an appointment but the earliest I could get one is four days after my symptoms started. two days before I got to the doctor I started to get this moderate pain above my penis and it was really uncomfortable. it didn't really change with urination so full or empty it was still there.

Now i have an appt with an urologist not till 7/9/08. What else can be wrong if they are telling me i am showing no infection i am in so much pain? What will the urologist do for me?

Was the cystoscopy the only way to detect the bladder infection? Could this infection be the cause of my night sweats? Like I said I have learned to live with it. I drink no more than 40 oz of liquid a day, and I stay away from water. Water makes my bathroom visits increase by 10 fold. I do not drink my liquids fast either, that will also increase my urges. Will the infection ever go away? I do not have any pain, i just go too much.
