Just be very careful I just got out the hospital on the 31 bc I had a uti that turned into me getting a kidney infection and kidney stones. No fun while being pregnant I thought I was gunna die. Always get a second opinion on your medicine though.
I have had a bladder infection for 3days now and its really bad, ive taken a number of cranberry tablets but it is still there. I havnt peed blood yet but iv got a really sore back and find it hard to walk. I started drinking orange juice yesterday and got the shakes really bad, i thought my body was going to have a fit, I just want it gone and really dont know what to do? is there something more worse with me?
I have been put on a couple different antibiotics, week-long treatments, but within two days after the treatment has settled in i have another infection, often worse than the last. I drink at least 3 L of water a day in order to keep myself from being in extreme amounts of pain, and I also take cranberry supplements. I have had an ultrasound and cystoscopy done, both of which came back normal.
Can two sexually active partners both with herpes cause the infection to get worse? For example, more frequent breakouts or breakouts of greater intensity?

I have a bladder infection, I think. So I called my Dr and told him what was going on. He prescribed Septra generic DS. It made me so sick that I called him back and asked what to do and he said it would be alright to take a half pill twice a day instead of a whole one. This is the second time I've had a bladder infection in two months. The first time was when I was in the hospital. No catheter was used. They sent me home with a script for Septra and it cleared up with in 5 days.
I am 10wks and 5days and the prescribed me a pregnancy safe antibiotic to get rid of the infection. Pregnant women can be more susseptable to getting bladder infections than women who aren't pregnant and I don't exactly remember why, but just make sure you are drinking plenty of water throughout the day and using the restroom when you have the urge.
I have a bladder infection. Yes, I am on antibiotics. My questions are, can I take cranberry pills that also have vitamin C in them? And also can I drink Kefir with probiotics in it while I'm on the antibiotic?I'm trying to keep my body in balance while the antibiotics are working. I've also read that a mixture of water, vinegar and honey may help. But I'm wondering if the vinegar might be too acidic and irritate my bladder even more. I am still suffering with the same problem but it's gotten worse. Now I am almost constantly hurting in my penis area. There is a lot of pain in the bladder area. Sometime the scrotum hurt too. Moreover, the needing to pee sensation has changed. Now I don't feel like i used to when i need to go but the bladder area just hurt and that usually mean I need to pee but sometime it just hurt. After peeing, the feeling of burning in the penis remain for a while.

I have always had some degree of bladder and bowel urgency (IBS too). Bladder is worse when standing or walking. Sometimes when I get the sudden urge I have to cross my legs and squeeze to keep from having an accident. Perhaps this is unrelated, but when I was last pregnant about 1 yr ago I had painful bladder contractions after each urination. Any ideas? Are things just going to go downhill--destined for paper pants? Anyone else suffering like this?
Anything pressing on my bladder internally makes the pain worse, from the bowel as well. No matter what I do it is getting worse. I cant cope with it any more. A and E were useless.
I have 2 children to look after on my own and have no help. I am at the end of my rope with it all and very much want to find out, what exactly is wrong and how to deal with it.

He had a stomach virus and he was getting treatment and then it went to a bladder infection and from the bladder it turned into a kidney infection. He got got treatment and he got better. About 2 weeks later he is back in the hospital with the same problem and they cant figure out where the infection is coming from. I am very grateful to you for replying, Doctors in Trinidad aren't very liable.
well went ot the doc yesterday , he did find an infection , but didnt specify as to where it was . uti , bladder or kidney ? but he did give me cipro . he also gave me flexeril and naproxen for a susposably muscle spasm which i dont understand its not like i did anything for a pulled muscle or anything . anyways ill just follow instructions and see how it goes . and go back when i can .
