After anxiety and resolution over many other symptoms for the last few days, this one particular new symptom came up today -- on my tongue - on the upper side, in the middle, about 3/4 of an inch away from the tip, a tiny black spot has appeared. The spot is connected to the base of the tongue, and can be moved around like a papillae, The head is as small as a speck of pepper. I tried hard with my tooth and my toothbrush in all directions to remove it but it did not work.
My daughter who is 23 and has had her gallbladder out almost 3 yrs ago tongue turned black after vomiting this evening. I remember when she had her surgery her tongue did that and the nurse called the doctor and he said somethng about the acid in her stomach, I think? Anyway I was wondering what is causing this?

I was brushing my teeth today and I realized that I had grown a black mole (very small) on the side of the tip of my tongue. It cannot be brushed or pinched off. Should I be worried? I've been running a lot outside lately and I smoke hookah (tobacco) about once a week.

Then I noticed my tongue had black little dots on it. Since I never had sex I didnt worry much.. Later I felt my body getting numb, If i hold something it get numb quick and my leg was numb. My symptoms were reccurent mild geographic tongue on the tip and lateral side(never last more than 4 days) and also red patch under my tongue not sore at all, it feel like the lesion were inside the tongue skin. Never had any other hiv specific symptoms. I'm so affraid cuz i never experienced such things before. Can hiv do something like that cuz they said that hiv symptom differ from each other.

t had any noticeable sumptoms . Until a couple of days ago my tongue got really sore. It looked as though my taste buds were swollen. And when I brushed my tongue one even bled. However , I think they went down. But I have one small white bump causing me pain ( it's very tiny) and 2 small red spots on my tongue . Both the bump and the red spots are barely noticeable . However , my tongue is a little sore .

Dry tongue is not a symptom. The back of the tongue will be white simply because bacteria lingers back where you can't reach. No stds would cause testicular pain far as I know. In fact, "imagining" is another way to interpret anxiety, friend. Do not worry. You had protected sex. But, I am not sure if the oral was too?
I realize this is an old post but since I've been taking iron my tongue is black and it's staining some of my teeth as well. I've read that baking soda may remove the stains from my teeth and I plan to try that.
i have used Detol to clean it off .and after 2 days( not accurate) i started feeling sensation of my tip of tongue burning and also burning sensation on my scrotum. i have taken B-complex tablets thinking of excessive work tension and heat. But it has not stopped and in nights i try using Burnol and Candid cream for scortum burning.
