nail

You can get worms from biting your nails. All the bacteria underneath them.....
It hurts like a mother, and it bleeds hideously, but I barely notice when I'm chewing my nails. And that's why nothing works. I don't realize I'm biting my nails until after the fact. Don't get me wrong, I am VERY embarrassed by this habit, and always have been. I used to say I broke my nails playing with my dogs, or they got smashed in the door, and other things like that.
I have this problem with invisible biting bugs that are seemingly unable to see with the natural eye. This is not an alergic reaction as some may say this problem is. I have tryed all types of bugs fogging and fumigation controls. Please if anyone can provide some help i would appreciate any assistance.
My reasons for biting my skin and nails i believe is because i am constantly anxious and over think things in my head which cause me to be stressed out. My main problem at the moment is with this habit and it is most probably due to the fact that i have some kind of obsessive disorder where i see putting my hands to my mouth as a means of comfort and self soothing and to be honest that is exactly the type of relief that i get when i do it.
It may also be a hemmroid, i got that when i was little.. check the internet for symptoms and sde if they match up. Best of luck, i hope the little one is feeling better soon.
PINWORMS ARE EASILY SPREAD BY PUTTING YOUR FINGERS IN YOUR MOUTH, ESPECIALLY BITING FINGER NAILS, SO TRY REALLY HARD TO KEEP YOUR FINGERS OUT OF YOUR MOUTH AND WASH YOUR HANDS GOOD AND OFTEN. BUT HURRY AND LET YOUR PARENTS KNOW SO YOU CAN BE FEELING GOOD SOON.
Then take pills again after two weeks and if you were reinfected (which is common) you have to repeat the whole process over again. Prevention, Avoid biting nails, keep fingernails short and clean, wash all bedding and pajamas regularly, vacuum all areas especially play areas daily and change childrens clothes daily. Hope this helps.
They can be gotten simply by playing in the dirt and biting your nails without washing because the eggs can live just about anywhere. They have OTC pinworm meds for people but for Kylie it's best to go to a doc to get the right doseage. They may not treat her right away and wait to see if she gets them. When my 2 older ones had them, Gabe was just over a year and, even though they treated everyone else in my family, they didn't treat Gabe.
in about 2 months or take it to the vet in about 2-3 weeks to make sure it doesn't have worms or any kindve diseases. Hopefully the kitten will be able to stay with you when the baby is born. I just got a kitten myself and I always have little cousins running around at my house so I also know that if you're gonna keep the kitten you're gonna have to make sure it isn't biting and scratching or that it doesn't have any diseases.
3- Refrain from eating meat and sugar for a while, because they feed the worms. Eat veggies and fruits and foods that are rich in fiber. Some ppl do the pineapple cure in which you eat&drink nothing but pineapple and pineapple juice for 3 days, worms can't take that much acid and die. You can also eat one tablespoon of coconut everyday in the breakfast. Also a small cup of grated carrot taken every morning is said to be offensive to all kinds of parasites.
I'm very clean, but I've had a problem with nail-biting. I've stopped since the symptom, and vow to stop completely. I get embarrassed around my girlfriend, friends, and I just don't act normal. The Internet doesn't provide much relief. So please, I would like an intelligent, experienced person to please help clear things up for me and answer my question.
Soft Paws are acyrlic nail caps that are glued in place over the cat's nails. By creating a blunt tip, the Soft Paws keeps the cat from causing any damage, to furniture or people. In my experience, these worked ok, but needed replaced quite often. I don't think I saw more than a dozen cats with Soft Paws during my time at the veterinary clinics. So...what about the opposite viewpoint? Do cats experience immense pain and exhibit behavioral changes after a declaw?
They behave like fleas in the sense that they jump and pop between my finger nails when I kill them. In their adult stage they look like a cross between friut flies and mosquitos. I went to see several docors and dermatologists about this problem. One doctor told me it was scabies, another told me it might be fleas, although they refused to actually look at the bugs to be sure of what they were. One doctor told me to go home, take a bath, and hire someone to clean my house.
I posted this info before, but it was a reply to someone else's similar post... I am a 23 year old healthy male. I recently had a full physical and the results were that I am in above average health. I have no diseases, do not use drugs, but drink on occasion. Anyways, just started noticing these strange symptoms, within the past few weeks. Nothing "brought it on" so to speak that I can tell of.
When i am sitting around and have the urge to pick, I sometimes paint my nails because I cant do anything with wet nails! (sorry guys-no help for you) I am mostly concerned now with the scars! I HATE them and honestly feel like they are ruining my life, that may sound extreme but its a battle i fight literally everyday. Does anybody have ANY new suggestions to get rid/fade them?
In fact, I remember the first time I felt it was while I was still on vacation, and it was just a few days after I found that I had a ringworm rash (has nothing to do with worms - fungus on the skin). Anyway I treated that for well over 2 weeks until the rash/red spot was not visible for a few days. But ever since I had that damn thing I have felt that crawling sensation. No numbness, just spider crawling. I'm 30 - so for all I know I'm not pre-menopausal.
Getting brittle or stiff? breaking? Is it thining out? Also, what do her claws/NAILS look like? Are they crubly/pitted/split etc... (One thing I'd do is dump the new cat tree. It's possible the reaction could be related.
that's coming into US from overseas somewhere?? Google... little white biting bugs... it'll come up... stating a person with these will see 3 different types of white insects(not mites or fleas, but bugs...) These things will go into the 1st layer of skin... reproducing on/in human skin... This is EXACTLY what we have... It resembles Morgellons BUT, is not Morgellons... Alot of people on here, are describing the different stages/types if this insect...
She was getting her nails done and then she was gone.Did Lucy have any health issues at all?And what about heart worm and flea preventive. Was there anything odd about her behavior other than what you described within those few mins?I will keep you in my prayers.May God Bless You.
using the carmex balm instead of tube). I have an office job and between typing out e-mails, I gnaw on my nails. Gross, but probably what's causing it for me. I cut my upper lit a tiny bit with my pinky nail yesterday, and woke up with this today. It's already spread from my top lip to a tiny bit on my bottom lip, and I'm keeping my hands away from my mouth now. I've also recently had a cold and was blowing my nose a TON, so it might even be related to the kleenex?
My hands itch so bad scratching with my nails and interlocking my finger of both hands and rubbing causes a relief while doing this that reaches a level of cessation. Then 5 minutes later it returns with more intensity. This continues for close to an hour sometimes. By this time my hands are burnng hot and swollen to more than twice their size lasting into the next day. Very hot water helps. You'll know how hot. Then a freezer bag filled with ice. Thats all I can help with.
Sometimes I question whether or not I have something else because it's really bad and it feels like I have a sudden burning rush of nails/needles stabbing my skin and I can't even move but only twitch. It's like this on a daily basis with my skin, whenever my body temperatue goes up. I feel like my body's thermostat is broken and I'm constantly overheating. I've been taking Claritin and Benadryl but that doesn't seem to help at all.
If it's a lack in something, may I suggest a nutraceutical such as a bottle of Hair, Skin, and Nails by Nature's Bounty or pasture-fed liver, and goat's cheese or yogurt. Post any results here.
