a few days after the allergy i got a rash all over my body and when i did a blood test, i was diagnosed with dengue. the doctor prescribed Fexofenadine Hydrochloride (Allegra) for the rash.....................so i took 10 of them there was no prominent inflammation but today i've seen the top left of my upper lip has gotten a bit swollen and there are minute bumps. i don't have a food allergy. so i don't know what to do about it.

it can't be a vit b deficiency because i take Neurobion (Glaxo) everyday for my hair and nails (i have hypothyroid).

I had a lesion removed between my gum and lip 2 weeks ago. My biopsy report came back benign which that I understand being non-cancerous.

Everything II read on the net says Squamous is referring to cancer.
Does't chronic mean it will never go away but can improve?
t been intimate with anyone (including kissing) for almost one year. I have however pierced my lip, i personally made sure all the equipment was sterilized but still fear contraction is possible. My lip was pierced about 2-3 months ago and there were no complications at all in that time period. Since i've been with my last partner which was around 11 months ago, there have been no irregularities.
Still waiting on labs for a check, no visible signs on her, but now I just got a burning sensation on my lip eating popcorn. There is now a small red bump on lower lip line. Not burning now, but there is a very small yellow spot when skin is stretched out. I am pissed at myself if it is. I have no idea what to do, and doc is on vacation.

This could be a part of Cheilitis, which is a medical condition involving inflammation of the lip. Or a bad case of Chapped lips , a condition whereby the lips become dry and possibly cracked. It may be caused by the evaporation of moisture.
Lip balm can often provide temporary relief, though it should not be used extensively. One should avoid licking their lips as saliva contains the enzyme amylase, which can damage the already compromised lip tissue.

also its been 6 days of my cold sore and it has not changed, the color went down a bit, but my lip is still swollen. my question is if i was alreadly infected with the hsv1, is it possilble to get genital hsv1? and is my cold sore a cold sore? since it has not changed in 6 days, no blister just swollen. and the doctor said i have to wait 4 weeks to see and blister, would the antiviral pills extend the 4 weeks? currently i have to symptons in my genital area.
The only issue is that I am still not able to move the top side of my lip correctly -- my smile, speaking, etc. are all a bit tilted to the opposite side. It looks and feels very strange.
I went in to see my dentist on Monday (4/21), but all I was told was that it was a bit unusual, but I would be fine. I will definitely go see him again after the weekend though.
What could be causing this? Should I be worried about it being permanent?

I am a 30 year old female and 3 days ago I noticed a pimple-like bump on the vermilion border of my lower lip. When I push my tongue to my lip (as if to stretch it) it feels hard to the touch and becomes white in color. I don't think it is a cold sore (herpes 1) because I have never had anything at all on my lips, it does not look like a blister, it is not clustered with anything else, nor has it began to ooze. Can you in fact have a cold sore without those symptoms?
or he bit it, bumped it with his chin or hand or caused some abrasion injury; resulting in inflammation. For it to happen so suddenly and only after oral sex I can't imagine it being anything other than minor swelling, it should go away in a few hours.

i got a call from my 2nd opinion neurologist late yesterday afternoon to discuss an MRI w/contrast i had done as a follow-up to a scan performed on 2/1 which revealed c-spine inflammation on the anterior cord and "possible myelitis." i don't have the report in hand yet, but the doctor told me that this follow-up MRI w/contrast revealed that my t-spine is perfectly clear and that my c-spine showed only a 1mm signal which did not enhance from the contrast fluid.

For the past 3 weeks I have been have strange tightness, sensitivity, and twitching in the left side of my face, in the cheek and lip area. At first I was worried it might be some fatal neuromuscular disease, but I don't have any symptoms that would point to that like muscle weakness or disfunction in the face. I have a red rash-looking thing on my upper lip. It covers my entire upper lip and looks almost like a red mustache. It doesn't hurt or itch or anything and is not warm to the touch. It has been there for a couple of months. I have tried Hydrocortisone cream 1% and 2%, but that has done nothing. I have noticed it getting a little bit darker. I am female and so I am quite embarrassed by it. My makeup does not cover it up that well.

One week ago, a dermatologist from Clinica Gonzalez in Lima, Peru cauterized a mucocele on my lower lip which I had for 15+ years. After the traumatic experience, the inflammation began, and has remained despite anti-inflammatories and anti-biotics. I have used Miconazol gel too, to no avail. Now I'm using colloidal silver to eliminate possibility of infection, but still the inflammation remains. I'm concerned because it's been 5 days since the cauterization.
