I have been drinking a lot of water and tea and eating bread and fruits to try and replenish my body but my head still feels fuzzy and I feel a little out of it. I also don't drink all the time so I'm wondering if it's possible for me to have brain damage? or when this hangover will end?

I've been to every kind of therapy, even went to a psychiatrist who specializes in eating disorders, gave me an RX ( don't remember the name) I've gained and lost 50LBS 3 times, this time I gained 60LBS and can't loose the last 25. I can't control my eating no matter what I do. I've also been to OA and I didn't like it. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I do not like to take medicines...therefore I stopped taking Meridia, but sometimes I take one for a few days when I believe I'm eating too much....but as soon as i stop taking it, I go back to the same old habits. The Paxil IS helping you and this is why you no longer have to eat to feel better....good for you! One thing to help lose the weight is to eat every 3-4 hours, healthy snacks. Fresh fruit, handful of nuts, yogurt, chicken, vegetables, and exercise. Eating every few hours keeps your metabolism at it's peak.
Avatar f tn Try taking a 15 minute brisk walk before eating, then again about 30 minutes after eating. 5. Journal everything! What food you bought, what you drank, ate, did for exercise. By doing this, maybe you can see when youre most likely to binge eat. I'm telling you, it isn't easy... but it is doable. Track everything, journal it. If you have to have a snack, eat the healthiest, low carb thing available.

LIke throughout college I would always function fine and do my school work during the week without needing to drink but when thurs/friday/sat came around i would always drink with buddies and often blackout. Avatar f tn The best thing to do is not have junk food in the house, if you can't stop with eating a single portion. Replace the chips, cookies, etc with fresh cut up veggies, such as carrots, celery, radishes, broccoli, or cauliflower. You'll get the same crunch, but you'll get nutrition instead of the fat and empty calories. If you need the salt, sprinkle on just a tad of sea salt to add a bit of flavor.

I did not weigh over 100 until I was 25 years old. During my 30's & 40's I started binging & purging...stopping only during my 2 pregnancies. But now I have bad acid reflux, what feels like a tear in my intestines and an ulcer in my stomach and a gallbladder that is going downhill. In the few days after this stretch of time he felt lethargic, wasn't eating normally, had a headache for about 4 days, etc. These sympItoms seemed to go away after about 5-6 days.
