Sometimes I get shooting pains in my breasts. It has not spread from these areas. I thought it could be a yeast infection, so I started applying Lotrimin cream. I've used it for 7 days and the rash isn't any better.
Does this sound like it could be a yeast infection? Does the cream need longer to work? Of course I started reading on the internet and have scared myself silly because of the horror stories of the yeast that spreads throughout your entire body and kills you.
Recently I came down with an upper respiratory infection and the doctor prescribed me a penicillin to clear it up. I told the doctor that I had a yeast infection the last time I took an antibiotic. I purchased a probiotic but didnt take it till after the 3rd day of medication and the damage was done already. I got a yeast infection and I have had one before due to antibiotics so I knew what it was.
3 days later, I went to the doctor and he diagnosed me with a yeast infection. 14 days later I had symptoms again and went to the doctor again. He said I still had a yeast infection and gave me more medicine. My symptoms never went completely away and now I have some burning again. I have had no bumps but I have one spot that is still red and irritated. Could this be herpes or some other infection? Is this too long a timeline?
For the past week I have been taking an antibiotic called Biaxin (for a sinus infection) which I know can trigger yeast infections. I have had yeast infections before and some have been frightening and painful, but this feels a bit different....
There is no itchiness or discharge, but I have some redness and some concentrated red sores. There is also some pinching feeling on the skin. Does this sound like a herpes outbreak? Should I start taking my acyclovir?
I have two failed implants due to infection which did not respond to Clindamycin. I also got a bad reaction to Clindamycin a feeling of big lump in throat, sore throat and severe heartburn. In spite of the fact that I drank at least 10ounces of water with each pill.
My question is since I'm allergic to penicillin. What antibiotic is effective for teeth and gum infections????

) Most Drs are okay with you skipping the office visit and just going to the lab for the UA, and then telling you the symptoms and how to treat a yeast infection if that is what is going on...Also, if you do have yeast, either take probiotic tabs to replenish your good bacteria, or eat yogurt (or anything with acidophilus) with active cultures. Well, then I start some itching and burning which suggested to me a yeast infection. I took a Diflucan and inserted some miconazole that night. When I woke up, I founds some small bumps on the inside of my vagina kinda on the labia. I applied some more cream to the area and as the day went on, it felt as if my vagina was on fire. It was red and inflammed and a small red lump appeared. I went to my gyne the next day and he said everything looked normal and that I had a yeast infection.

I put myself on a yeast-free, sugar-free and grains-free diet 3 months ago -- I got a yeast infection that was giving me serious bloating and brain fog. It just seemed like Lyme, but it was yeast. It was a little hard the first couple of days, but I've adjusted to it very well.
Did your dr say why s/he put you on that diet?
I was taking Biaxin 500mg twice a day for a week and then took the rpr two days later. could this affect the results in any way?
just one last point, the biaxin and amoxicilian were taken at different times around 2-3 months apart. Biaxin was for a Resp infection and the amoxicilian was for my saliva gland issue. These all have been taken throughtout the last year since exposure. Would Biaxin or amoxicial cure syphlis by themselves?. no more questions from me so I would like to thank you for your time!.
ve been taking the medicine for at least 10 or 11 days at 1000 milgrams of each both biaxin and flagyl daily..and should have stop taking them along time ago ..is this common?

18 months later, the anal region is still discolored, with the opening of the anus is red at times. I use hydrocortisone & Vitamin A&D ointments which seems to sooth the redness and dull the irritation.

Took it for an upper respitory infection for 3 days and had terrible problems. The Dr then gave me Levaquin, took for 7 days, with the same side effects. Just this past winter, I had a UTI that wouldn't go away and was treated with Biaxin and another abx (I can't remember which one, I have to look...maybe Ceftin) and had a bad reaction to both of them. I went to the health food store and took a D-Mannose cranberry supplement instead of abx to get rid of the infection.
I am a man. Next day, having been prescribed Biaxin for bronchitis, I took four 500 mg pills at once. I know this was foolish, but I had panicked.

My question is about stomach tenderness. Is a tender stomach normal with a peptic ulcer? My entire stomach area, from just below my breasts, down to my navel, is very tender to the touch. When touched it produces like a burning/stinging/bruised feeling. Depending on the day, or time of the day, the pain is greater or less.
