Biaxin urinary tract infection

Common Questions and Answers about Biaxin urinary tract infection

biaxin

Mycoplasma Infection is a nasty bacterial infection that can cause headaches, joint pain, fevers, dry couch, shortness of breath and a general feeling of the flu. If these symptoms don't resolve on there own then you need antibiotics like (Doxycycline, Cipro, Azithromycin or Biaxin).
Also should add, treated with Cipro 500mg for 10 days and Biaxin 500mg for 21 days for sinus infection, during the time frame of possible std infection....would this cause a delay or would it actually cure the std infection, if there was one to begin with?
Hi Thanks for writing to the forum! Your symptoms could be due to UTI, or urinary tract infection. The infection could be at any level from bladder to ureter to kidney. It could also be due to a stone in the urinary tract. What you need is a urine culture and sensitivity test done. You can also give it for culture and sensitivity in a sterile bottle provided by the lab. This will tell you what organism is causing the infection and what antibiotic will kill it permanently.
Just today, however, I started feeling some urgency to urinate and some discomfort (like a urinary tract infection). I do not have any pain or burning when I actually urinate. Is there any chance that I contacted some type of STD from this encounter at the strip club? Also, is my wife at risk for anything (she has not exhibited any symptoms so far)?
You definitely some kind of urinary tract infection though. Amoxicillin is a penicillin antibiotic. It fights bacteria in your body. Amoxicillin is used to treat many different types of infections caused by bacteria, such as ear infections, bladder infections, pneumonia, gonorrhea, and E. coli or salmonella infection. Amoxicillin is also sometimes used together with another antibiotic called clarithromycin (Biaxin) to treat stomach ulcers caused by Helicobacter pylori infection.
They are also not ALWAYS found in the urinary tract, although they are in fact common (40-60% by most accounts have Ureaplasma urealyticum). But don't fool yourself there either, HSV-1 is about 60% prevalent and that's definitely a virus you'd rather avoid. However, it is true that many people have Ureaplasma urealyticum and have no symptoms or negative health consequences.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Dear Richard, Your right testicular pain may be related to a possible infection of the epididymtis and/or testicle associated with a urinary tract infection due to a coliform bacteria which I assume was identified on a urine culture. Epididymitis and epididymal-orchitis are treated with antibiotics for approximately 2 weeks.
Three days after starting Biaxin uninary issues started again!!! I started diflucan immediately and stopped biaxin but now,on day 5, still no relief of urinary issues, though no itching yet. I am going going crazy here!! Have any of you had such experiences? I called my LLMD and he says "its just the Lyme" though it seems strange that the urinary urgency came just 2 days before a TERRIBLE yeast infection. It resolved when treated with Diflucan, gone for a week and then back.
hmm lets see, i seem to get yeast infections very easily, one time was the worst when i took antibiotics to get rid of fever, after the fever, but not short after being on the antibiotics i got a really bad yeast infection! i went to see my ob/gyn for constant UTI's after sex etc, so she put me on the generic brand for Bactrim DS (Sulfameth/Trimethoprim) but im scared to go on it, because i know its an antibiotic, and i do NOT want another yeast infection!

It’s a tiny risk, greater if you are older, overweight, obese, or have reduced blood flow in your neck arteries, but it’s a risk you must assume if you want get rid of an otherwise untreatable sinus infection. There is a possibility that the infection could go into your ear, which happened to me once, but I found a way to avoid it. You could also accidentally rub infected snot into your eye and get an eye infection, if you are careless.
The consensus is now that I can only treat the pain and there is nor helping reverse the condition. Also, I have taken cipro on and off for the past 20 years for urinary tract infections. Is there any thing else besides pain medicine to help me? I am a 59 year old educator who does not want to keep using the high pain medication through patches (Fentaynl Transdermal 100mcg/h over 72 hours).
4 months ago I started having a burning sensation in my urethra after I would urinate and also having discharges. I sought treatment and was given a shot + pills for chlamydia and gonorhea. I gave a urinanalysis sample too. 2 weeks later, the discharge had stopped, but I still had the occasional cloudy urine plus the burning urethra. I went back to the clinic and was treated for the same symptoms with the same pills + shot again.
There are some that do cause anxiety. I was on Biaxin and amoxicillin this summer and developed an anxiety problem from them.
Bacteremia may occur spontaneously or may complicate a focal infection (eg, urinary tract infection, pneumonia, or cellulitis). Some surgical and dental procedures and instrumentations involving mucosal surfaces or contaminated tissue cause transient bacteremia that rarely persists for more than 15 minutes. Blood-borne bacteria may lodge on damaged or abnormal heart valves or on the endocardium or the endothelium near anatomic defects, resulting in bacterial endocarditis or endarteritis.
I went to the doctor yesterday and the doctor suggested herpes at first glance she said she is 90% sure but could be wrong. I finally made it to the doctor's office and after he ran several tests and took a urine sample, he found that I had a urineary tract infection. I think orange tongue is the bodies way of purging infections in our body and fortunately for us, this might be a great indicator of possible infection inside our body.
For those who are suffering wth these symptoms,, you need to ask your doctors to run a test for all types of bacterial, protazoa, and parasitic infection including campyoblasters. I had a friend who got these types of symptoms every time she ate taco bells nacho grande or wendy's salad... its GOT to be a type of transmittable infection that some people are more sensative to than others.
Then I came down with a sinus infection that lead to an inner ear infection. I was constantly dizzy, spaced out, ear congestion and uncomfortable sensation. After a month of this icky feeling, I finally took antibiotics which helped with the dizziness and the fuzzy head. I felt better for about six months, but still did not feel like myself. Now, the dizziness has returned along with the other symptoms.
and the doctor prescribed me antibiotic I don't know exactly the name of the drug ,it was to avoid infection. after few days i felt the stone flowing out with my urine and i felt no trouble after that. a month after I developed mouth odor, smells like garlic. My best friend also aquire that thing..then several months later it got worst, bad breath came in.I thought tooth decay was the cause, so me and my best friend went to the clinic to pull those things out.
