I have been taking Biaxin for 5 days and have experienced the worst side effects i have ever had in my life! Nausea, headache, depression, crying outbursts, metallic taste, and wanting to sleep all day are the main ones. I have never felt depressed like this in my life. I have had a "salty" taste in my mouth that nothing seems to get rid of. Recently, I had a really bad (putrid) taste that my dentist attributed to a bridge that was loose. My dentist removed and recemented the bridge, which seemed to eliminate the really bad taste, but not the "salty" taste. It seems to be coming from the same tooth that had the bad taste. My dentist declares that it cannot be from this tooth, that the cement has sealed the tooth off.
I have the worst taste in my mouth. First, it started off as a metallic/copperish taste. Now, it's progressing to a soapy taste. No matter how much I drink, brush my teeth, or rinse my mouth out with soap, I still have this awful taste.
