Biaxin for kidney infection

Common Questions and Answers about Biaxin for kidney infection

biaxin

Recently have developed a yeast/vaginal infection as well. The doctor put me on Clindamaycin for seven days. Since then have had severe cramping, gas pains, nausea and ended up in the ER Thursday morning. All tests came back negative thankfully. Now, my lower back is aching around the kidney area. I had a urine test done and it came back normal. Have any of you taken clindamyacin? I read some of the side effects and they match my symptoms. Any thoughts?
4 months ago I started having a burning sensation in my urethra after I would urinate and also having discharges. I sought treatment and was given a shot + pills for chlamydia and gonorhea. I gave a urinanalysis sample too. 2 weeks later, the discharge had stopped, but I still had the occasional cloudy urine plus the burning urethra. I went back to the clinic and was treated for the same symptoms with the same pills + shot again.

Her cough went from non-stop to occasional, but never stopped completely. It flared on Nov 22 and we started 21 days of Biaxin thinking sinus infection. It flared again Dec 11 from a slight cold and hasn't really calmed down since. She has had normal PFTs during the worst of the cough, two normal spirometries in addition, a normal chest xray, and everyone with a stethescope says her lungs are clear.
Hi Thanks for the post! Atenolol is exclusively excreted through kidney (urine) and milk in lactating mothers. Hence you may have developed allergy to something as I am sure you must be avaoiding things that you are allergic to. However a word of caution! Many medications, canned and packed foods have ingredients that you may not be aware of. Please read the ingredients carefully before consuming them. Check all such food for what they contain and see if you are allergic to anything.
I have had a frequent urge to urinate and bladder pressure for a few weeks. The pressure became very painful as if I constantly have a very full bladder even right after I empty my bladder. I tested "trace positive" for a urinary tract infection after having taken amoxicilin 500 for 2 days. I do not and have not had any burning sensation when I urinate. Is there other things that create a positive urinary test beside bladder infections.?
lithium, used in bipolar disorder; penicillamine, used for rheumatoid arthritis, kidney stones, and too much copper in the body; plus some drugs used in cancer treatment. In the absence of other symptoms, it is unlikely that a metallic taste in your mouth indicates serious disease. But if you haven't had a thorough general checkup recently, I would suggest seeing your doctor to rule out any undiagnosed health problems. Hope this helps and Good Luck!
Before that diagnosis though, a different doctor thought the eye problems might be from a sinus infection, so he gave me Biaxin. This caused digestive problems with severe diarrhea for a while and I had to eat lots of yogurt to keep my system stabilized, but that was about 2-3 months ago, and after I stopped taking the Biaxin things seemed to get back to normal until a month ago, when the above problems started. Thank you for any help you can give.
I took a home AZO test which came up as possible trace infection. I will need a more professional test to be sure. I will probably go to the doctor tomorrow for an official dipstick test, but I am worried that they will error on the side of caution and prescribe Septra or Bactrim. I am terrified, literally terrified, of trying a sulfa drug because of some of the horror stories on the net. Perhaps I shouldn't be looking at those accounts.
I've been on doxycycline and biaxin for the last 3 months. My condition has gone worse. Out of your experience, when should I expect to see some improvement? My other meds (are plaquenil and methrotrexate - still on 5 pills a week because of the pain - plan to stop as soon as the pain eases a bit). I am planning to take antivirals as well. How long should I wait before starting anitvirals. I've read that I have to be completely off methotrexate before starting antivirals.
I am now on my third round of antibiotics (first cipro for a possible UTI and then biaxin and now levaquin for bronchitis and and pnuemonia (my doctor also though I might have prostatitis). The originall sore (probably a cold sore) healed after about 10 days. I now have another sore on the other side of my mouth (inside my bottom lip). I had not been worried anymore until I had an irritated raw area (wher the skin was rubbing off) on the inside of my right cheek.
and I am on amoxicillin for infection and oxycontin for pain just until my thoat gets better. I asked the doctor for a script of fluconazole (diflucan) because i knew i would need it with the antibiotic. The question is, should I take the fluconazole now or should i wait to take it until AFTER my antibiotic is finished? What works better? I really don't want to call work and ask. I really don't want to talk if I dont have to.
I was prescribed 500mg amoxicillin, biaxin, and prevacid for hp infection. Over 2-3 weeks of taking 3 medicines symptoms got a lot better, after finishing that, had to go back to doc for same thing was put on all that and Ciprofloxacin for kidney issues, again symptoms for stomach got a lil better but never cured. Now the newest episode and best way to describe it, i have lately for last 2-3 weeks been having a lot of unusual chest pain and rapid heart beats.
This technique will work for almost any infection of the nose, if you‘re willing to take the risk. If an unfortunate side effect should happen to you, well, I am sorry. I am not charging you for this, you are not paying me for it, so don’t sue me. It’s a responsibility that you have to assume. If you expect a risk-free life, with massive compensation should things don’t work out, then don't try this. So, why is this book manuscript free?
I went to my family doctor who prescribed Biaxin I believe for Chlymidia. I was on this for two weeks and the pain subsided for a couple of weeks. I then began to feel the same pain minus the urge to constantly urinate. I was put back on the Biaxin for two more weeks, this time however the pain continued through the medication. This did nothing as well. I was then tested for chlymidia, herpes, gon, and hiv. All came back negative.
What they did during my procedure was put this cap on your head lined with sensors in a dark room and have you close your eyes. They read the activity for about 5 minutes or so then, they switch to the stimulation part of the testing. There were two parts, nothing too terrible. The first part is where they had me breathe at a rapid panting pace for about 5 minutes. Basically what that does is hyperventilate you.
I did experience some vaginal burning, and feeling of frequency to urinate, but was negative for uti, but for trace amount of bacteria. I was put on antibiotics, bactrim, and them macrobid with pyridum and the problem resolved. By july I was so weak I could barely walk. I was told i had walking pneumonia, put on another round of antibiotics~ z pack x 5 days, then generic biaxin (clarithromicin)~horrible drug!

Levofloxacin, another common drug, also has been shown to have a high failure rate for M genitalium. This is why knowing which infection you have is very valuable in determining the correct treatment. Another common phenomenon is to have treatment initially be successful with antiboitics, only to relapse later.
The only way that you will be cured is for your doctor to suspect an infection with these germs and for you to take long-acting erythromycin or tetracyclines for several weeks, months or years. They are the most common cause of venereal diseases and are a common cause of muscle and joint pains, burning in the stomach, a chronic cough, and chronic fatigue.

Initially, I was undergoing a regimen of tetracycline & flagyl for 2 weeks and cimetidine for 30 days. I started to feel better almost immedi ately, but towards the end of the 2 week period my symptoms returned. Now I am on another regimen of amoxicillin & biaxin for 2 weeks and prevacid for a month.
I have been on Levaquin for 15 days for a sinus infection. I just hate it. Anxiety, lightheadness, thrush. I first was put on Avelox for 7 days prior for the infection and it also gave me the anxiety, plus hyperventiation. It was a mess. My doctor wanted me to tough it out with the Avelox by taking xanax to counteract the anxiety/hypervention. I stopped it at 7 days and got on Levaquin. No hyperventilation with that, but yes with the anxiety. etc.
I'm still on Mepron, Amoxicillin and Zithromax and planning to be for another month. Then, I will have been on treatment for four months, which is what my LLMD says is the "standard" treatment for persistent babesia, which she thinks I have based on symptoms and treatment responses. I wasn't convinced, then I was, now I'm not again :-) It is a thing with me I guess. I was on the Mepron and felt better than I had in months--so, it must be the Mepron!!! YEAH!!
These standard test results are usually reported by the lab according to a very high standard that was developed not for diagnosis, but for tracking the spread of Lyme across the continent, meaning that several indicators of Lyme are ignored, so that you may well have Lyme but the tests aren't very accurate, and the way they are interpreted often ignores evidence of infection.
It began as chest discomfort , slight swelling of her calves and fingers, and feeling of malaise. Thinking it was an infection she went to the doctor who prescribed Biaxin and also wanted a chest X-ray just for certainty that it wasn't pneumonia. The X-ray showed enlarged lymph nodes and a black spot. However that's all we know we don't know the size or where they are located. The Biaxin she took helped but the condition got worse. She has said that it's only SLIGHT discomfort.
Then do all the regular hawking, snorting and spitting that you've been doing since you got a undetectable sinus infection. Do this routine at least twice a day, for at least four days after it seems to have gone away. Remember, always blow one nostril at a time, and press the other one closed. I had the problem for 7 years, but I have been clear breathing for months. I also have ways to keep clear and, but that'll be in my book. Good luck.
