I've been to the ENT, who thinks its some type of GERD, even though I have no other GERD symptoms, no heartburn, nothing. She put me on some medication called Dexilant but it's not doing anything. I'm going to the gastroenterologist this week. The taste is progressively getting worse. Even water tastes bitter.

Certain dentures and artificial tooth or filling of dental cavities too give a metallic taste. Sjogren’s syndrome and copper or lead toxicity are other possibilities. OK here are a few tips for you.
