973741 tn?1342342773 I do them on my computer most of the time, my computer is in a big room so it's easiest, the videos I do can burn up to 1,000 calories in one workout!
Avatar f tn What are good workout moves (squats/lunges etc.) that really tone and get rid of the extra fat around my upper thighs and hips without having to use any equipment/have to go to a gym and how many of each would i have to do. Thanks!
Avatar f tn Lots of walking and a lot of yoga! There's videos for exercises for first trimester, 2nd trimester, and 3rd. You could also check with your doctor to see what works best for you and just a heads up if you start doing this early in your pregnancy it shouldn't be hard as you get bigger! Good luck!
1149046 tn?1264361586 Yes, I've tried Mega-T AND Hoodia -- did nothing for me. That's why I'm here. About the only thing that really works long term is a sensible diet and moderate exercise. Making single small changes works best -- such as stop drinking sodas and drink water instead. Or exchange white bread for whole grain. Stop eating things with sugar -- try stevia instead.
Avatar f tn Not a DVD but if you search pregnancy workout on pinterest they have some nice workouts to do.
Avatar f tn I have been really active before getting pregnant also, my doctor told me that if you're already active it is fine to keep doing your regular workouts.. just monitor your heart rate, try not to get above 150. I asked her if boot camp classes and spin is still okay (by two favorite) she said as long and I'm monitoring I can do whatever I feel like as long as it is safe and I am not over heating (no more kick boxing).
Avatar f tn These workout videos on Amazon, they had a 3 dvd pack which incl. A pilates video, a yoga video and a simple workout to slim and tone. Im pretty excited, and im gonna try em out tomorrow! I usually dont take the effort to do anything but this is my 2nd preg.
Avatar f tn So I just found out that I'm having twins so I want to start a light workout. Any suggestions on good prenatal workout DVDs?

ON Dec 22, 2011 almost 4 weeks ago...i had an ovary removed along with the tube & a tennis ball size cyst & a d&c. Avatar f tn Yea I just started the brazillian but lift workout videos and I super like them.
Avatar f tn ) or do some exercises of hasfit.com they do free exercising videos that will help you loose weight :) even though they pretty exhausting they are only 20 min long and I sweaf they are pretty good :3 Fighting! You can do it!!!
Avatar n tn t feel deprived. The key is a calorie deficit. For exercises, I recommend Zumba or kickboxing, personally, because it makes you feel like you are doing something to workout and learn something for day to day life (Zumba, dancing; Kickboxing, self defense). I have lost 40 pounds since September while breastfeeding. Some say more than 1-2 pounds per week is bad but it isn't always the case. Its all about how you feel and re-training your body.
Avatar n tn I came across a big difficulty to find healthy labor workout on Amazon. All of the videos I found are targeted towards moms that want to stay fit during pregnancy and come back to normal weight after labor as soon as possible. Anybody can give a suggestion about names of the videos for healthy labor you like? YouTube videos count too.
Avatar f tn I can not wait to get back to my yoga class!!!! At first I was scared to go, thinking it was too early. The instructor said the earliness of the pregnancy is fine, but its currently too hot and that I dont want to build too much internal heat. Id say get to a yoga class. Im a first time mom, so I dont know much, but im hoping staying active will help with labor & post pregnancy body. Its important to have an instructor though, unless youre already experienced in yoga.
Avatar f tn I have used Leslie Sansone in-home walking videos for the past two years with good results, lost 40 pounds so far. In my area, they can be rented from video stores or purchased at big box stores or online. She also has some free workouts on Youtube. I was skeptical at first, but being able to walk 1 to 5 miles in my living room when the snow is flying outside is great. Leslie is very encouraging, some people love that, and some don't, but it works for me.
Avatar f tn I am trying to find a workout video to help keep my strength and mobility. I have tried a yoga class. Did not do so well at it and personally didn't care for it. Any suggestions? Thank You.
Avatar m tn I can do boxing/kickboxing for 1-2 hours at a time, and I feel great. However, if I lift weights for 40 mins or so, I feel OK during the workout, but get a really tight pressure in my chest later in the day and my oxygen saturation seems to drop in the evening. Interestingly, my heart rate is much higher when boxing (170-180bpm) as opposed to weight lifting (120-140 bpm). I am also extremely focused on proper breathing when weightlifting to avoid really high blood pressure.
Avatar f tn I completely understand. I am a plus size woman and had lost about 12 pounds before getting pregnant. I was doing a cycling class that I loved but had to quit b/c of the nausea. But the other mommy is right walking is the best. You can also swim, that works for me as well. They are both also very relaxing.
Avatar f tn ve heard a few different opinions on what time of day is best to workout but honestly, the best time to workout is whenever you have time to fit it into your schedule! Personally I workout at all different times. Sometimes I have time to kill in the morning and have enough energy to get in at least a half hour of some kind of cardio (it's rare though because I am not a morning person AT ALL either lol) Other times I do it late at night.
Avatar f tn I think Brenda strong has some videos for prenatal. I know she has fertility yoga that are pretty good.
Avatar f tn Hi!!! I have a similar problem except I live out in the country and it's freezing. I suggest doing Gilad's total body workout or some workout videos. Running in place is also good. Sit ups in your room. And dieting too! Not a very strict diet but a healthy one with alot of protein and heck treat yourself sometime. And don't get discouraged if you don't lose weight fast. It is a very slow process. I Hope you take my advice. GOOD LUCK!
Avatar f tn I use www.dailyhiit.com it's a free site and it's really good! New videos posted every day and there are exercise challenges and videos to target certain areas.
Avatar f tn What do you do for exercise? I get so bored doing my workout videos and dance videos and strength training in my living room and it's over 90 degrees out lately so I'm too uncomfortable for walks. Before pregnancy I did turbo fire which was great but I'm so out of shape now I'd die of I tried it. So what do you suggest to get moving?
