Avatar n tn So I would wash my face daily with a cold washcloth and keep sweat and oil off my face. After about one week almost half my acne was gone. The second week it was almost all gone. And the third week, my skin was as clear as ****!
Avatar n tn after about the second week it will start to look like acne..DO NOT PUT ANY DRYING AGENTS ON YOUR FACE!! Cold rag every 2 hours and NO makeup what so ever..need more advice just let me know hunny..I feel for you.
Cat Hi! If you were my patient, I would advise you that the best products for rosacea and acne are prescription antibiotics. One option to consider would be laser or broad band light treatments at a medi-spa in your area, These are pricey too, but can give lasting results. Good luck!
Avatar f tn My face n breasts are breaking out. What acne products can't u use?
Avatar f tn What can i do for acne?
Avatar f tn Tried all kinds of creams etc. At one point I used a salicylic acid acne treatment on my face and it got Hard - I mean you could tap my cheeks and the skin was hard! I quit the acne wash and switched to a mild soap (dove) and a very light WATER BASED face moisturizer (neutrogena), I still have some folliculitis, but no more crust instead of skin! Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize - drink lots of water etc, etc - AND some folks like me (very fair skinned) have to avoid oil-based products.

Avatar f tn Most acne products dont actually work. Just drink lots and lots of water, and wash your face 3 times a day with a daily wash.
Avatar n tn Now I have persistant and large acne on my cheeks and jawline, including cystic acne. The acne is ever present and not just once a month. My current dermo (not the one who proscribed Accutane) tells me that it's hormonal (I believe this) and that I will just have to deal with it for the rest of my life (I don't want to accept this). She does Cortosone injections on occasion for the cysts because I cannot, for the life of me, leave my face alone.

Avatar f tn I too am breaking out, luckily for me I am an esthetician.. I use all murad products and they work really well for me. I use an exfoliating acne treatment gel as well as a clarifying mask a couple times a week. It really works for me. If you want to try it out you can purchase the acne kit and test it out. It is a lot cheaper than purchasing these two products and that one comes with 4 products. It is a 30 day trial kit.
Avatar f tn Soo I have acne on my butt and I wanna get rid of it but I think acne medicine is the best way to get rid of it.. I use to use benzoyl peroxide on my face and it instantly helped me get rid of my breakouts. I was wondering if i can use it on my body too ?? and/or if anyone knows if theres a different type i can use instead of just putting it on at night and waking up with a sticky face (thats why I stopped putting it on..
Avatar f tn -P just washing my face regularly with acne face wash has seemed to get it sort of under control

Avatar m tn t work because it bothers your sensitive skin, then you want to go with something a lot gentler. Natural health stores sell great products for even the most sensitive acne prone skin. One brand I recommend, and I recommend buying it from a discount place, since it's a little on the expensive side, is called Weleda, which is a German company. The boxes and containers are pink, so they do stand out. The one I use when I need something extra gentle is called Almond Cleansing Lotion.
Avatar n tn You can prevent and treat acne by changing your lifestyle like eating proper diet, getting a good amount of sleep and drink at least eight glasses of water daily. Avatar n tn I was in my bathroom when i noticed a bump on my face, kind of like a pimple on the inside of your skin, so i used my acne products and then i noticed a white spot sticking out from it. i kept rubbing it with an acne removal pad, and the white spot got bigger. now there is a white spot in the same place of the bump. Does anyone know what this is or how to fix it?!
Avatar m tn I also have this white-yellowish thing that comes out of my face. I have used so many products and none have worked effectively. A week ago i had my first time visit to the dermatologist. He gave me Ginette 35 tablets, Epic wash and Skinoren. I'm dark in complexion and my skin tone is not even due to this acne espically my forehead. The dermatologist said my skin is too oily. I;m on my fourth day using the products. Has anyone ever used these products and could they cure my acne for good?
9062363 tn?1402521075 I use an all natural method as well, have been for two years and no break outa...combo of castor oil, vitamin e oil and evening primrose oil...all can be found in the pharmacy section of a walmart. Quarter size amount and rub all over your face, use a warm wash cloth to wipe off the oil, rinse the wash cloth and repeat. Best thing I've ever used. Anything you buy that targets acne is stripping your face from actual oils is needs, so your face fights back by making more and pores get clogged.
Avatar n tn When I got to college freshman year, I began using clindamycin and retin-a-micro on my skin. I used no products on my hands and they became better. The facial products turned my face red and I began to get bad cystic acne on my face, right next to my nose and on the sides of my chin. A year or so later, I used accutane, but only for 3 months or so. The accutane reduced the cysts but made my skin very dry, particularly on my forehead and lips.
Avatar f tn Since reaching my mid 30's my skin has been a wreck. I have dry skin that is sensitive and whenever I use moisturizers they break me out even when they say it doesn't clog pores. So I am constantly trying to battle acne with products that dry and moisturizers that break me out. I just can't seem to get the right routine for my skin type...please HELP!!
4905918 tn?1375147193 Put toothpaste over your face & wash it off when it starts to tingle .. this will open your pores ,then wash it with soap (dove) . Do this twice a day & it works miracles .
Avatar m tn Are my pores that big that they are able to contain dirt? I’ve tried using different acne products to see if it was the acne solutions that were causing it, but even when using different products, I still get the black spots. I looked at a similar question on here regarding someone having black specs on their face, and someone said it was chromhidrosis. But I don't believe I have that, my black spots don’t "ooze" or anything...
