You don't have to go to a gym to get exercise; there are lots of exercises you can watch online or download from the internet, dvd's you can get, etc............. just go for a walk, clean the house, work in the yard -- it's all exercise.

Walking, swimming, kickboxing pretty much any type of activity that elevates your heart rate. And unfortunately you can't spot reduce so trying to focus on working one specific area won't work. You have to lose fat overall and pretty much your body decides where it's going to let go of the weight.

If you are HEALTHY at your current weight and are perfectly happy where you are, then maintain. If YOU feel, not other people, that you may want to drop a few pounds or tone up, then by all means do what makes you happy. Sometimes, just increasing your activity level can make all the difference.

Obviously, no one wants that....... I'd have to go back and read, but seems that fat intake must be kept to < 12 grams/meal......... I don't think McD's puts out a meal with < 12 grams of fat.......

Anything containing guarana, hoodia, or ephedrine (or even too much caffeine) can mess with your heart rate and blood pressure - check with your doctor first.

So, a healthy diet and lots of interval training is the main thing. Then you can make the "man boob" problem less noticeable, by firming up and toning your upper chest area with a decent weights routine and push-ups.

Avatar f tn If he is on triple tx, with Incivek for the first 12 weeks, he will actually be forced to eat a very high fat diet during that stage (20 mg of fat within 30 minutes prior to pill), as that medication is carried and absorbed via fat. Other than that one drug there are no real dietary restrictions except eating enough and including some fats for better absorption of the ribavirin. Most people lose their appetite and lose some weight while on interferon and ribavirin.

He needs to get the 20 grams of fat in with the Incivek. What he eats may partly depend on who is cooking or preparing it. If he is the one preparing everything, he is going to probably need to eat some easy items, like the greek yogurt and buttered toast.
