885701 tn?1279125728 Diet pills are no good for long term weight loss, they're just a quick fix. Sure they may make you lose some weight initially but it's much better (and cheaper!) for you to have a sensible diet and exercise programme.
764218 tn?1234569759 The safest way to lose weight is by eating healthy and exercising. I have tried weight loss pills with absolutely no results and awful side effects.
Avatar n tn My mother was a diet pill addict, so I know how one person responds to speed for weight loss. She was aggravated without them and gained even more weight after stopping. So realize my opinion is highly biased, but exercise and diet are the best weight control. No pill will ever come close to having the lasting effects of caring for oneself. If you want some tips on boosting metabolism without speed, I am more than willing to share what I know.
1641357 tn?1470495393 I tried pills and hated them! I researched so many of them and ordered the ones I thought would suit me, (all natural, from a long-standing reputable company, tons of testimonials, scientifically proved ingredients) but OMG, the side-effects were awful! I only lasted 3days before giving them up and going back to just diets and working out.
Avatar m tn Eat the healthiest diet you can. Eat fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains and lean protein. Healthy foods help keep you strong, give you more energy and support your immune system. If you're nauseated, try eating small meals throughout the day. Choose foods that are soothing and easy to digest, such as soups, broths or a plain baked potato. A registered dietitian can be especially helpful if you have weight loss or trouble eating.

Avatar f tn While weight loss pills can work, many times, they aren't meant for long term use and often the patient regains all the weight, once the pills have been stopped. In addition, many herbal weight loss pills have ingredients that can have powerful adverse side effects. I agree that you should see your doctor and be sure to research any herbal products you decide to take.
Avatar f tn The most important things for weight loss is to calculate BMI and calorie intake requirement. Diet should be planned with more proteins and fibre, less carbohydrates and fat. On an average 2-3 kilos should be lost in a month. You should right and healthy. Never skip a meal. Also a fitness regime needs to be fixed. I would suggest that you visit a nutritionist and fitness expert for further assistance. Best.
Avatar f tn Pill are usually the last resort. Just cut off juck food and stay active. to keep yourself motivated have a cheat day ones a month; if not is going to get really boring. Btw the pill that "increase your metabolism" is marketing ********. The metabolism you are born with it will chance during puperty, after that you will stay with it for the rest of your life, it does not increase if you take pills. You can help you metabolism, yes. but not increase the rate.
8550901 tn?1400740690 If you're breast feeding you can't take any weight loss pills or diet stuff till u stopped breastfeeding. Exercising can start after your 6week postpoderum appt if your dr okays it!
Avatar f tn With all due respect, can not recommend any diet pills to anyone. The only true way to lose weight is through healthy nutritional food, moderate exercise, and making a lifestyle change. Diets and diet pills simply do not work. There is no quick fix but weight loss is most attainable. If you'd like support in losing weight naturally, would be happy to be of assistance. Best wishes ... to your health ...
Avatar n tn I have been taking diet pills for at least five years and recently (4 months ago) got on phentermine and redotex from mexico. I just found out today November 10 that I am four months pregnant! I've had no signs of pregnancy, havent had a period for at least eight years, no bump, no sickness, absolutely nothing, but did an ultrasound and found out. What my concern is, is if the baby will be healthy or if the pregnancy should be terminated?

649848 tn?1534633700 You can have more than one goal. If weight loss is your goal, safe weight loss is 1-2 pounds/week. Since losing weight too quickly can be dangerous and often results in gaining much, if not all, of it back, I don’t recommend that you try to lose much more than that. We advocate healthy weight loss vs fad diets, pills, etc.
