Avatar f tn What happened ? Did it finally stop and what diet did u end up doing? I'm having the same problem wih Jenny Craig and want to see if I should stick with it or change and to what. It's so comfortable and the food is so good and I'm loosing weight- I'm most sure it's worth making changes but think I must!
Avatar m tn When I went in the first week to weigh in at Jenny Craig i lost 1/2lb. Second week lost nothing. Third week lost 2lbs. I did Jenny Craig 9 years ago and had no issues losing weight in fact I was losing approx 2lbs per week and lost 40lb in 6months.
Avatar f tn I have been on Jenny Craig for four months and got down to 142 pounds, but it came back on. I currently am eating 1200 calories a day and do physical activity every day faithfully. My goal weight is 130-135, but I can never get passed 142. It seems the more I exercise, the more I gain. I know muscle weighs more than fat, but there's no way I've gained that much muscle. I just want this weight to go away. I need help.
302315 tn?1219182107 I had success some time ago with Jenny Craig, but since getting ill I have not been up to going in to their office. What are you considering trying?
Avatar f tn We all react to medication differently, but I've seldom, if ever, heard that benzodiazapines cause weight gain. Antidepressants are another story. But, if your experience was that you gained weight while on a benzo, you will need to explore your options with your doctor. I don't think you should be looking for a psychotropic medication to help you lose weight. That could be an unhealthy and possibly dangerous expectation.
Avatar m tn Water aroebics works wonders. I've recently been diagnosed with osteoarthritis of knee. Except I'm 42 for crying out loud! I highly suspect it's related to my taking Prevacid for 5 years (the reason I'm here). Anywho, the water aroebics and palates are very easy on your knees. Look up the pilates website and order the ring and video tapes. I joined 24 hour fitness for the water aroebics. It's worked wonders for me and I'm not a small woman myself.
Avatar f tn is a little more flexible but also seems to be very effective. For some people the defined meal plan type diet, such as Jenny Craig, works well - you buy their food and don't eat anything else, and that way you don't eat too many calories.
Avatar n tn They also usually require you to do 6 months of watched diet (Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig, seeing a dietician once a month). You also need to meet certain criteria for the surgery, such as a BMI number and comorbidities.
Avatar m tn Okay so I'm 16 turning 17 in 4 months. I'm a girl, 5.7" 185 pounds. I carry almost all of my weight in my thighs. I have a pretty small stomach but I would like it flatter and toned i really want abs. My best friend is 15 200 pounds 5.3" and she carrys her weight in her stomach she has no thighs. she just wants to loose her stomach an tone her flat butt lol. So we that if by Sep. 20 (my b-day) we are both around 140 we are going to get our hips pierced. But we need help.
Avatar n tn and at 200lbs/90kgs was told to by Jenny Craig have about 1455 calories until I got down to 80kg/175 lbs and then proceed to 1200. So if you're somewhere between that range of 80-90kgs then maybe try adding an extra (low calorie) snack into your day to see if it helps. Also it's a good idea to spread out your diet, so if you haven't been doing it already, aim for 4-5 "meals" instead of 3 larger meals spaced out very far during the day.
Avatar n tn After I maintained my thyroid I still had to shed that extra baby fat! I did everything from diet supplements, running and Jenny Craig. I finally lost thirty pounds and did it with just watching a few things. The first most important thing is to look at the fat content. Usually people thinking that counting calories is the only way to lose weight. What they don't realize is that fat has a major factor. Also eating plenty of good fats help burn bad fat.
Avatar f tn Well, summer’s almost over, still can’t fit into my bikinis which is really a total drag, still want to do something about it but I’ve tried Jenny Craig and here I am, overweight again, can stand to lose 20 lbs. A friend and I were going to do Nutrisystem, ads make it look really good, she ordered a lot of food first and bad surprise!! It’s totally rank, the cardboard probably tastes better, looks so tasty on the website, big lie.
Avatar m tn i started my weight loss program last month and i have lost 22 pounds so far. the medications i am taking is phentermine 37.5 and triamterene 37.5. i have tried so many expensive programs like jenny craig and weight watchers. don't get me wrong i lost weight but never this fast and easy. my doctor also suggested an injection absorbs fat in your midsection. i am really excited about my weight loss.
414018 tn?1268611672 I gained a lot of weight during my chemo due to the steroids even though I pushed myself to walk daily. As soon as the course was done, I joined Jenny Craig and lost all of it (25 lb.) within 6 months. Now, I'm battling lymphedema in my left leg and am having trouble maintaining my weight again. If it's not one thing, it's another! Good luck!
Avatar m tn LOL...I agree! However, since I've started tx, the smell of fried food nauseates me...LOL...Way better than Jenny Craig dieting! The Riba diet!
Avatar f tn Okay thanks everyone its helpful knowing that this isnt something crazy lol yea I only lost 10 pounds kinda like beimg pregnant is the new jenny craig lol
Avatar f tn I feel all i did was trade the illegal drug for a legal one, although i have purchased phentermine off the internet for years. the kick in the butt, I got fat again, I am on jenny craig finally and helping a little, but still can't seem to move without popping the little white and blue pill.
898944 tn?1242135039 Actually, if you DRINK enough water and go back to exercising *no less than* 3 to 4 times a week for 1.5 hours, you would probably lose weight - AND THAT'S FREE ! You don't really need to exercise for 1.5 hours every time you exercise. I was just trying to point out that you probably lost that 35 pounds before MORE because of YOUR EFFORT (YAY, YOU !) than because of the water pill (can be VERY dangerous !) OR the B12 shot.
1458590 tn?1333403812 worked enough to keep the weigh of anyway......i am currently on Jenny craig......the best weight loss option out there i believe....it is a life style change, not so much a diet.....i started at 113.9kg and im down to 78.7kg now....my goal is to get to 70kg, so im nearly there..........
222135 tn?1236488221 Portland PDX is ranked as one of the best airports in the country to hang out in. Craig was happy and telling jokes and was really a gas! We had a great time, spent about 3 hours over dinner and then it was time for his flight. We enjoyed him so much! Guys, he is soooo smart! Though you could probably guess that with a PhD, a JD and and MBA. But, beyond that he was a lot of fun. Elaine, thanks for lending us your hubby.
Avatar f tn I just started weight watchers (again!) after 10 weeks on Jenny Craig...I am into the mini carmel rice cakes - 7 equal 1 pt!!! Sweet!
178345 tn?1242536246 I cant go off Weight watchers for 1 minute..that first bite...makes you crazy...I was on Jenny Craig for a while now just started Weight Watchers and having a hard time..I got so used to JC since evrything was measured and organized for me...I still have 40 lbs to lose...BUT I am starting from scratch again ....today is a new day..I am not giving in to temptation....I have come to far....
Avatar f tn The loss-gain equation is entirely mechanical and mathematical and I don't care WHAT Jenny Craig says. If the amount of energy going IN is MORE than the amount expended -you gain; if the amount going in is LESS than that expended, you lose. Period. Does Celexa cause your burn rate to slow down? Maybe.
Avatar f tn So, i'm 22 years old, i now weigh about 100kg. i've always been on the bigger side, but it didn't really affect me, i used to be happy and outgoing, always ready to party. But now i'm at my largest ever and it's depressing me and making me uncomfortable. i hate doing anything that involves me being in large groups, i feel like everyone's staring at me (probably are since i'm the biggest person in the room *rolls eyes*) anyway, back to the point!
