700000 tn?1231287536 The only problem I have is that it is kind of a bummer in that without the flexibility in my wrist, some of my basketball and martial arts activities that I participate in currently are limited. I still live a normal life as an engineer and go to the gym 5 - 6 times per week and never feel any pain except on REALLY cold days. I recently landscaped my backyard with no problems. As far as flexibility, I was barely able to do a flat handed push up 3 years ago. I am 30 years old currently.

Avatar m tn I have flexibility issues in almost all of my joints (Knees, elbow, wrist, ankle). Coincidentally, all the joints in the right side of my body are worse. I cannot squat as the back of my feet cannot touch my butt, my hand cannot touch my shoulder, cannot do pushup as wrist will hurt a lot. I have done xrays but doctor said my xrays are fine. Went through physiotherapy but joints flexibility does not improve no matter how much i stretched.

Is there anyway, like an MRI, to see the strength of the aorta root and there is increased risk or dissection? For example. Get an echo or MRI now, and then after the season, which is just short of 3 months long, get another echo or MRI to see if there was any weakening or a negative effect on it?

Avatar m tn I have returned to gymnastics after 3 years out and find that I get severe cramp in the arches of my feet. It seems to occur if I point my toes too hard and for long periods of time. My feet don't seem to be as flexible as they used to be as I used to have a much better toe point before. As I have to train in barefeet, I've also noticed that they can get quite cold sometimes. Avatar n tn Hello, About 6 months ago I started to do some running and after the first month or so started getting pain above my knee, so I stopped. Since then the pain hasn't gone away and I'm getting desperate now as nothing seems to work. The pain is at its worst when going down stairs, steep hills, or when I put weight on it such as in a lunge or squat. It's had periods of getting better then when I think I'm going to be pain free it always gets worse.
Avatar n tn I've never known one at 3 to need exercise, they are normally busy little people. But the 5 year old may become complacent with watching TV, or just sitting around the house. You want to make sure he/she is getting enough physical activity so that she doesn't get in the habilt of not doing this which could result in obesity.

Avatar m tn My pain started about 3-4 months ago with mild hamstring pain in both legs. It was a dull sometime shooting pain. I had very little flexibility in my hamstrings until I stretched them. The pain has become more extreme and is now hurting in my lower legs (shin splints and ankle), hips, butt, hamstrings etc. The pain was in both legs but now is 90% in my right leg. Its at its worst in the am when I wake up and pretty much never feels 100% even after NSAIDs.
