Right now it is awful (looks like a cigarette burn on my eyelid). I have this mostly on the middle of my right eye and the side corner of my left eye. I have read so much about this and am so frustrated. I picked at the dry skin a few days ago, and then it just hurt for days. Stinging, raw, itchy eyelids and irritating the inside of my eyes constantly. One comment from a reader above was to stop washing and going over eyes when washing your face. I think this has helped quite a bit.
Ive tried to focus my mind on calm, peace, serenity these bulls to aid me sleep despite the presence of the sensations; but to no avail. Even a small tingling struck on my skin could wake my conscious up for as long as 5 minutes. Imagine that. Im opting for sleeping pills, if that does any good. If anyone found a solution however, please do let me know..
I'm imagining all sorts of weird and wonderful things going on underneath my skin - bugs having the time of their lives, crawlies creeping, etc etc. No, I haven't been to any exotic places recently so I don't think that has caused it but I think I will mention it to my GP next time I visit him, just for curiosity!
the slightly crepey skin and wrinkles inside the elbow crease, all the loose bunched up crepey skin on the outside of the elbow, skin has totally thinned on my hands- veins stick out (same with my feet), my feet has such loose crepey skin and are so wrinkled I can pull the skin on them pretty good, I have jowls, wrinkles under my eyes, getting wrinkles between the nose, three lines/wrinkles on forehead, lips are lined/ lost volume, boobs dropped and shrank, I get those neck things when I smile,
I think your description fits the sort of lumps I get on my fingers. They don't come on the palmar surface of my fingers, just the sides and tops... and never on the back of the hand, only just to the joint where the finger meets the hand (MCP joint). They measure between ~2mm and ~8mm in size (usually 3-4mm), are red and slightly raised, and aren't filled with fluid. Clumping around the joints is more likely than on the shaft of the phalanges. They're painful (well...
It might not be the same for all of you but one characteristic sypmtom of lupus is a malar rash which can be red or scaly dry skin on the upper part of your face and over the bridge of your nose. Of course it can be on other parts of your body too but this type of rash is common with lupus. I have been procrastinating on going in for a while but now that my daughter is experiencing symptoms I am going to have to make it a priority.
About 4 weeks ago I woke up to very dry skin on my eyelids and the corner of my right eye. The skin became scaly and I definitely looked like I aged 30 years. I tried to exfoliate it and it seemed to spread, so I started to put a topical cream on it called FML. I went to my dermatologist after 2 weeks of it not going away and he said that it is likely that I am allergic to something and that I probably have CONTACT DERMATITIS.
The bubbles are extremely satisfying to pop, though this ends in having the fluid leak out, so I DON'T recommend it. When they pop on their own, I end up with rings of flaky skin on my fingers. I prefer to try to keep my hands as clean and dry as possible, because warm and wet conditions seem to make them worse (doing the dishes, for instance) and avoid using harsh cleaning products which make them sting.
we never eat with out washing our hands. we change sheets every 3 days or so....so on and so on and so on. OK...now ...What's my opinion of doctors? The first 4 years of dealing with this I went to 5 different doctors: A pediatrician, 2 general doctors and 2 gastrointestinal doctors. After being prescribed mebendazole after mebendazole I finally gave up seeking help from them.
I too seem to suffer the exact symptoms, as is always the case it is nice to know you are not the only one suffering these symptoms. For me they seem to come and go and are mostly on my right & left arm & right leg, I have also had on occasions small blisters on the roof of my mouth towards the back (I am not sure if this could be linked but having thought about it a bit the thought now crosses my mind).
I just can't look at myself with dignity these days, and I'm afraid of making any friends, because I know that they will eventually distance themselves and make fun of me. I try not to cry. And, on top of that, my parents don't believe me. They think I'm paranoid. I have a brother that goes to the same school as me, and I don't interact with him during school hours because I don't want his friends to know that I am his brother.
It started as if it was an ingrown hair, then it got bigger. It's not a different color as the rest of my skin...i tried putting a hot compress on it for half an hour, nothing came out...i sqweezed it a little...still nothing :( I does not have a head...I'm wondering how many times i have to put a hot towel on in order to get some results??? Can anyone tell me ?
There is a sandy-grainy like build up on my scalp This is also accompanied by an itch. Even after I wash my hair, the grainy like build up is still there. It is NOT flaky what so ever. My hair has also started to fall out and at the end of my hair, a white little grain is at the end. Hair will not stop falling out. I have gotten blood tests at a dermatology office and everything was normal. I also have tried about very type of zinc pyrithione shampoo, at the highest concentrations.
There's so little on Tramadol or Ultram on the web. Tons on other drugs. Ok so the most alarming part of the Tramadol we would think would be the fact that it is a synthetic opiate. It's a Narcotic. It's just been slipped thru the schedule. The Opiate aspect of Tramadol is why if you google,"Home Opiate Withdrawal," the techniques found there actually do work! But that's not the most alarming part of Tramadol in my case.
puffy raised white area on the palms of my hands these go after apprx half an hour of being dry little clusters of small holes/pores that seem to follow the lines on the palms of my hand, only in the area that is raised and puffy. this happens even when my hands sweat in the summer when driving, washing dishes, showering, bathing, cleaning.. all connected with water. it doesn't hurt but my hands feel so dry it's uncomfortable to touch anything.
my shins,ONLY MY SHINS sometimes itch like a ************, its like the itch is under my skin instead of on the skin itself, ive been told by a doctor once, when this first happend, shortage of vitamins
I am an advocate of vitamins/supplements, however, I do know that not everything that's purported as "good for you" or "natural" is really true. I've been reading on health benefits of Monavie, which has acai berry in it. I was looking into it this supplement for nutritional purposes only.
) and rubbing the oatmeal scrub all over your entire body so that you see/feel the milky residue that comes from mixing the scrub with the water. Let the scrub soak on your skin for awhile before you step back into the water to rinse it off. This does not make the rash go away, it simply helps to alleviate the itch temporarily. I've been taking the oatmeal shower every morning, then applying the cream my dr.
I use a 2% benzoyl peroxide acne cream on my back as well. I use a loofah in the shower and I think that helps get rid of dead skin cells. I've also had minor bumps on my scalp. Wash sheets regularly and don't wear tight-fitting shirts. Always take a shower after working out.
I would always touch myself and I couldn't believe how oily my skin would be. My skin is not oily anymore! It just looks like healthy skin! The root of the problem??? Is the oil... the bacteria thrive on the oily skin, the oily skin is some acne sufferers response to a lack of vitamin D... probably trying to make the precursor to vitamin D in the skin so it can be turned to vitamin D in the liver. But what happens when you have sufficient levels of vitamin D???
I love my children more than anything on this earth and would never think of treating them the way she's treated us. I have the same, wonderful husband for 20 years and are happy. We have a beautiful home, nice, new cars, and 2 beautiful, good kids. We worked hard for everything we have and never asked her or anyone else for anything. She has deep psychological issues for sure, but will never go for help, since she says "it's everyone else, not her that has the problem".
I too have red and irritated eye lids, they are really itchy, they are watering like a faucet, they hurt, I also have really dry skin,it scalely and red, I also have a white pimple on the edge of my top eyelid , below my upper lid , I wear contacts, which i have taken out and I also have eczema. I have tried eczema cream, many other creams, I have made weak tea and used a eye cup to flush my eyes., and compresses.
I've just been diagnosed with staph, and though the infection was really bad a year ago, I'm not suffering much now -- the sores have simply persisted on my skin. After reading all of the above, I'm glad I resisted my doctor's suggestion to go on antibiotics for a month; I'm trying several home remedies now (vitamin C + antibacterial soap + daily shower + diluted alcohol on skin + probiotics) while I wait for the test results to come in.
At the end of February, I suddenly had a small patch of itchy, dry, crusty skin the size of a pencil eraser on my right eyelid. Next day- the size of a dime. A few days later- the size of a nikel, thick and crusty. Not too itchy. Meanwhile I continued to use the same products I had been using for years: As far as skin care and maintenance...All NEUTROGENA, for the most part, ie: anti wrinkle creams for eyes and face, day and night creams, face wash, foundation, etc.
It is an awful thing to 'have to put up with' I also have ulcers on the back of my tongue and roof of my mouth, this cannot be normal.
The Associated Press reported on some of the letters on Friday morning. It did not post copies of the letters, which The Huffington Post has done below. Paul Ryan Letters On May 4, 2009, Ryan wrote a letter to the EPA office in Chicago expressing his "support for the National School Transportation Association's (NSTA) application to the Recovery Act National Clean Diesel Funding Assistance Program, which was submitted to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
I truly believe I've got some type of yeast on my skin or something that these things find desirable. It's probably more than one type of bug attacking me because I'm delicious to them. Do you see white dots all over the surfaces in your house? I think these things are eggs. Some flying bugs mate in the air and drop eggs while flying. This makes sense to me because those things are everywhere. I vacuum and wipe all day long and they reappear like I've done nothing.
