Decaff contains little to no caffeine while regular coffee contains high amounts of caffeine. Caffeine can cause MANY problems. I would name them all but it would take me a very long time. Look at this website for further information on caffeine and the side effects it has. Some you have probably already had and didn't even notice.

The pop tarts are carbs and sugar so I would not recommend eating those. Slow release energy foods is what you need to be eating so that you do not experience a low slump of sugar levels. Cut out or cut down on processed foods and refined carbohydrates and sugary foods and fizzy drinks.

A piece of toast with peanut butter on it for breakfast something like that. I took the pills with breakfast and dinner (even if it was only ice cream) so that it was 12 hours apart and easy to remember to take them. 653875 tn?1224530613 - never drink just water or plain tea or coffee - always drink juice, or coffee / tea with lots of milk, milk alone, or something else with calories - eat lots of nuts and nut butter - put peanut butter on crackers and apples, etc., add nuts and granola to yogourt, etc. - eat avocados, and dried fruits - only eat whole grain breads, pastas, etc. - eat lots of snacks... Do you have much appetite? This has been my biggest problem, but I am hypothyroid rather than hyper.

Avatar f tn There are a lot of mixed medical opinions out there regarding this so you should do what you feel comfortable with both physically and emotionally...caffeine is tough to kick so if you decide to cut it out of your diet do it slowly by switching to a mix of decaf and regular...I personally gave it up while I was prego but I had a miscarriage at 11 weeks...however I quickly went back to my old habit and it is a b**** to kick it again!
