Avatar n tn I am not a big soda drinker or coffee drinker mainly water and a cup to two cups or iced tea a day. I have cut down on the tea quite a bit to one cup every other day to every two days. However I want to know if it will still effect my baby. Any help will be appreciated!

Decided to do some additional investigation on my own and one of my sources was the American Cancer Society funding of liver disease. Wonder if the limitation of Coffee was because of Caffiene? We do know that Caffiene does play a part in certain cardiovascular diseases. Hep C meds can cause tachycardia as well as arrhythmia's and could be contraindicated with Caffiene.

I think i saw one study showing benefits of coffee drinking on the heart, just like they did with wine but that could change in ten years and they will say the opposite. I think as long as it's in moderation you're probably just fine. As long as it's not meth or something!

I think the usual recommendation is no more than a cup of coffee a day, and a lot of women don't even drink that much. I think I had 3 cups of coffee in my whole pregnancy.
