Common Questions and Answers about Benefits coffee with honey

Avatar_n_tn I will not recommend drugs or herbs to anyone but will tell you to research, read and talk to your doctor. I use honey or agvae in my coffee or tea. I make ginger tea with a strong black green Indian tea in an Indian method. Use a lot of lemons which you're not suppose to use while on tx but I use lemons on everything. Ginger too. Good luck....if you don't like it...don't drink it.
Avatar_f_tn LOVE my coffee! I do, however, buy organic (was told coffee is very 'sprayed' ??) and also mix 1lb of reg, with 1lb. decaf to lesson the caffeine. I make sure I drink a lot of H20 with it also. I heard the 'not much fiber' on tx thing too, don't ask me where....please!!!
535822_tn?1443980380 (NaturalNews) Lots of us may like to use a little honey as a sweetener for our morning coffee, toast or tea, but there are several uses for this tasty little treat - in its pure, raw, non-pasteurized form, it can do more than just bring a smile to our face. Manuka honey as the new 'superfood.' What is Manuka honey, scientifically known as Leptospermum Scoparium?
502395_tn?1210566185 [2,4] In summary, Ruhl and Everhart provide as strong evidence as observational data possibly can for an inverse relationship between coffee or tea intake and CLD. Before coffee or tea can be 'prescribed' in patients with liver disease, however, interventional data are strongly warranted.
544341_tn?1234992477 Instead of a slice of pizza with acidic tomato sauce, have a salad. Substitute that morning cup of coffee with a cup of tea. It’s just a matter of common sense, but these changes are necessary during the acid reflux recovery period. In order to defeat the acid reflux syndrome, one must attempt to become as alkaline as possible. Anything which has an acidic effect on the body should be eliminated. Smoking is perhaps the most acidic thing one can do.

Avatar_n_tn I've found that drinking this bitter-strong tea (along with honey and a little milk) seems to put things back in order in a few days - makes me feel better.
1187071_tn?1279373298 Or if you know someone who has had to deal with it. I am back to work but it is really hard to stand on my leg but I deal with it. I really hate all this added pain to my body, I am on the patch but it don't seem to help much. Heat does help at night. On another note my life has been turned upside down. My mom has passed away. It has been the hardest thing I have had to go thru. I cry everyday sometimes all day.
Avatar_n_tn Hello. My fiance has been suffering with eustation tube dysfunction for a little over 6mths. now. We have tried numerous decongestants and nasal sprays as well as a round of steroids. His ENT did allergy testing on him, however, he did not have any significant allergies. Our last resort was to have PE tubes placed. This only made his symptoms worse and they took them out after a couple of weeks. Suprisingly after they took the tubes out and his ears were healing, he was symptom free.
483733_tn?1326802046 You have already encountered situations that were quite questionable with him, i.e. the other women and coffee, the online-dating profile, etc. These are all red flags dear. I think if you continue with this man you are not going to be happy with the outcome. I see you have a good friend (specialmom) on this site who is looking out for your best interest. Thank long and hard about what is BEST for Trudie in the long run.
Avatar_m_tn The spasm cough causes it all and when it goes away (usually 4 to 5 days) things are relatively normal although a normal cough stays with me for weeks after. I notice if I catch it early (which means I carry antibiotics with me all the time) it is not as nearly as bad. Doctors have diagnosed this as Asthma, chronic bronchitis, bronchial asthma etc etc. All different specialists seem to have a different prognosis and the recommended pills over the years have not really done any good.

Avatar_n_tn This is my second child. I'm 10 weeks. My doctor said two cups of caffeine is ok. I drank a cup of coffee a day with my son.
217229_tn?1192766004 I know sugar is bad for us, but honey is loaded with anti-oxidents. I just am worried it acts like sugar with our liver. Any thoughts??? Also, the theory of prebiotics and probiotics seems to make sense. The prebiotics trap the toxins from whatever we eat in our intestines,so they never have to go thru the liver-they just go thru as waste. Probiotics are the good bacteria, most of us know about Activia and live yogurt cultures-all good for liver lovers. I always take Milk Thistle.
Avatar_f_tn if you disagree with that, go talk to the woman on this forum who said she brings her husband coffee in bed before he opens his eyes and packs him lunch everyday with little love notes. imo, i married my husband to be his wife, not his mother. our son is OURS and we need to share in the responsibility 50/50.
789572_tn?1334428479 I know we're supposed to drink coffee for our livers, but if you're having trouble with fatigue and nothing helps, you may want to give it a try. I've been having trouble for 8 years now. Funny how it went away in 10 days. I started exercising about a month ago. I started out swimming laps for a half hour. I could do that for about 4 days in a row, then I would be totally beat and have to take a day off. After I dropped the coffee, I found I could do more and more every day.

Avatar_f_tn A morning cup of coffee with cream does the trick for me. But no more than two cups per day.
Avatar_m_tn I donno what is wrong. I've been diagnosed with so many things in my life i must have been dead ten times by now, but it has definitely something to do with sugar. I dont know if I post this in the right place, but I'm desperate. They diagnosed me with temporal lobe epilepsy and bipolar and gave me Lamictil and Zyprexa. The Zyprexa gave me a sugar of the rare side-feffects. I started eating glucose enrgy bars like mad! got worse than alcoholism and even put me on a high.
195648_tn?1231815718 Yeah that's exactly what I need. Thanks!
250155_tn?1366738732 To tell the truth, I'm not that familiar with it, outside of knowing that its supposed to be good for you!
Avatar_f_tn When my sugar drops to low though I eat a 1/2 a peanut butter and jam sandwich along with an orange. P. S. A toasted 1/2 of a peanut butter sandwich and honey sandwich used to put me out like a baby. Have a cup of hot decaf tea....raspberry leaves work good for cramps. Unfortunately I can't sleep much anymore. In which is why I'm typing away at 4 AM. LOL Take care. Me.
Avatar_f_tn Last night my husband has a friend over - who had a little pot with him. My husband very rarely smoke's a joint with a friend - I mean once a year rare. Anyway, they asked if I wanted some and I didn't even think about - No! I might have said it a little too emphatically but I was almost mad. My husband does not know of my addiction (well he might but we have never spoken about it). Anyway, I did not want anything messing with my mind. Nothing.
220917_tn?1309788081 I'll be a patient registrar in radiology, I believe. It's going to be a very easy job, part-time, better pay, and with benefits. On days that I work, I'll be home when my boys get home from school, so they're thrilled. Even though the benefits are deducted from my pay (they weren't at my former job), the pay is a little better, it's SO much closer to home, and I KNOW I'll be happier.
