.im a 20 year old male and 4 days ago i noticed pain in and above my belly button. the pain progressed for the next couple days. then i noticed it was getting red right below the button. then followed the discharge. gooey white/pink fluid. cleaned with peroxide and still came right back. im leaking! what should i do about this? ride it out or see a doctor? mind you i dont have med insurance so i dont go for every little thing.
Im a male and I have the same problem. I have a discharge from my belly button that comes and goes. It usually is a light discharge but sometimes heavy. Its a mixture of light pink blood with gunky, puss looking liquid with a really bad infectious smell. Ive had this for over 10 years now but it only happens for a week or two and goes away for months at a time. I get a little pain there too.
here's how it started. I had a bad pain just above the belly button for a day or two, with a smelly discharge. then on the third day, the pain went away and it started bleeding. And then a day after I posted this, the bleeding and pain stopped. so I've been fine. it was a three or four day occurence. very strange.
Last Monday I called the urologist and told her that I have a knot above my belly button and it is very tender. She immediately referred me to a surgeon to be checked for a hernia. I just came from his office and he said it is not a hernia. I am very nauseous, i have a lot of pain in my lower back, and it burns when I urinate. The surgeon said that there is nothing he can do because it is not a hernia and ordered an exray for Monday.
Also, I have no piercings of any kind - much of my research poses that question (belly button piercing), so I thought I'd state such.

00 I am a 29 year old male and have been experiencing occasional discharge from my belly button. There is no pain, but it has been happening every 2-4 days for the past month. The discharge is typically a very small amount a brown, redish substance and has a very pungent odor. When I clean the area, the belly button looks fine. No apparent cuts, swelling, etc. Any thoughts on this strange condition?

When it comes, it's a few inches below my belly button, extending down into vagina. It's not a burning feeling--it's more of an ache or stabbing/pulling pain. It's gotten so bad at times that I can't walk or stand up straight, no position makes it go away. I feel pressure and pain when I need to tinkle, and while I am, and after. Sometimes before the pain in the center starts, I feel what kind of feels like cramps on the left side... it kind of migrates down.

I remove them when found thinking that because of the body sweat it happened (not reported to any doctor). Now about one month I found discharge from umbilicus (belly button) a red / yellow colour discharge with foul smell. This discharge is drying and when removed there are hairs found as clouted in it. But now the discharge is very severe and I cannot walk / move / sleep it makes my clothes wet with blood and puzz and bad odour to body.
Past 2-3 years I found that there is some dirt accumulated in my belly button one or two times in a week with hairs in it with bad smell (no discharge but it was slight wet). so i got on here because i to have recently discovered that my belly button has discharge and a light odor and i have never had this problem before nor have i ever heard of it so im guessing i need to see a doc but have no insurance so im going to try some of the other suggestions i have read about. y'all have been so helpful at first it was embarrassing but its a lot more comforting to know that there are others with the same problem.
with HPV but I did get rid of a suspected wart this past year. Can you have a bacterial infection without discharge? It drives me CRAZY sometimes, the only thing that calms it is gold bond ointment, which is minty and refreshing but I'd like no itch. No "rash" that I can see, unless I give in and scratch. I take cranberry supplements to keep me flushed out for a UTI, which I was treated for last year.
I have done them all by myself and never had an infection (tongue, lip, nipples, eyebrow, 6 in each ear, top and bottom belly button and my nose) have never had the white thick discharge except for a piercing that i have taken out to close it up. my nipples have just gotten redone after my pregnancy, I had my doctor do a look over to make sure it was ok to breast feed. He told me that there was nothing wrong with my nipples and it would not effect breast feeding.
what i am feeling mostly is twinges in my lower tummy, mostly below my belly button and sometimes a pulling feeling from the sides (usually left). at 7-9dpo i was experiencing a lot of creamy/wet discharge. still experiencing some, but not as much (currently 12dpo). i feel slightly nauseous and queasy, but don't throw up. i kind of fell like i may gag, but end up just coughing. i've been really, really hungry at weird times. i will wake up at 5am starving.
there is no leakage. Since i shaved i should add that i had red small bumps grow on pubic area between belly button and penis but all within pubic area and do not itch... Dr said it may be warts and did cryosurgery one two sets of them, total of 3 bumps and 1 happened to come back in the same spot as of two weeks. the cryosurgery was done sometime in early December and they came back February 2012.. i'm really helpless and i trust my doctors and i may have HIV...
I'm a male 19 years of age, and for the past year, when I masturbate I have found myself needing to press one hand right above my pelvis (few inches below belly button) to be able to experience a full masturbation. I have had sex with different people, and I can't seem to orgasm no matter how long, unless i start 'pushing/proding' myself in that region. What is going on with me? As of recently (past 2 days) I have had a brown discharge which according to the web is blood.
Then a couple of days later i noticed some discharge dried up around by b-button that was light yellow brownish. so i called pharmacist and asked if nystatin and triamcinolone acetonide cream was ok to use and the pharmacist said yes.. so i used it for about three weeks and it still the same. what should i do? thank you. cloud2007 This discussion is related to Belly Button Fungus?.

This idiot begins by seeking out the heartbeat just below my belly button. Hello!!! My uterus is only halfway up to my belly button at this point and it's clearly visible to see that when I'm lying flat on my back! So of course he can't find the heartbeat, and after about 3 minutes of me lying there in discomforting cramping pain, I rolled my eyes at Brandon and then said to the doctor, "Maybe you'll find it down lower.
Last visit was 16 dec. One week after last encounter I noticed pain while urinating (around belly button, sharp pain) and pain in perineum. Developed all kind of vague symptoms (burning after urination, penile pain, persistant pain in perinieum,...) but no discharge. Called family doctor and he told me to come in with morning urine sample (not midstream) and semen sample. This was eight days after last encounter. Doc thought it was prostatitis. Was started on Cipro 500 two a day for ten days.
Not having as much pain in testicle anymore but It seems pain in abdomen has increased near center belly button region. I did some reading online and came to the conclusion that the guy I talked to was misinformed, I thought I had also cought ghonoria or chlymidia. I got acouple more antibiotics for this. I took a whole dose of the "z" pack" and I also took 250 mp cipro(whole z pack and cipro at once).
