First possibility is of a fungal infection of the belly button which may produce foul smelling yellowish or black discharge from the fungus and belly button is a humid place for fungus to thrive. If however the discharge is present throughout then possibility of a fistula is there where an abnormal passage forms between one organ like intestines and the outside of the skin.
If the symptoms persist then get an evaluation done from a gynecologist.

Prolly the most common thing I hear on here and In pregnancy period lol. The round ligament supports the uterus and stretches during pregnancy. It connects the front portion of the uterus to the groin. These ligaments contract and relax like muscles, but much more slowly. Any movement like going from a sitting to standing position quickly, laughing, sneezing, coughing, etc.
so since my 2nd trimester my belly button decided to pop out on me I'm 33weeks nd it seriously looks like I'm growing a "d**k" from my stomach that's how far my belly botton poped out....has anyone else got an outtie while pregnant?? Did it go back to normal after birth??
I have done another test this morning still negative going to get an appointment with the doctor on monday, but this morning i have had cramp pains like i was coming on and found a brownish discharge and all day today fills like i leaking but all there is, is clear discharge. My belly is still swollen and hard all over even under my belly button. and i have found small little bump around my nipple what are they can someone help.
For the last several years (I have no idea when this started, I just began noticing it), I have had yellow, crusty discharge coming from my belly button. It is not continuous, but rather comes and goes every week or so. I am a very clean person and bathe/shower regularly, and I am not very overweight (5"4' at 130lbs), so I don't believe it is lint or dried sweat or anything, It smells very bad, and is sometimes so strong that I can smell it through my shirt.
A couple months back (not sure how many) I started having problems with my belly button. The problem then was it was very red and irritated it and a smelly brownish i'll say discharge and it was itchy. I was going to see a doctor but i was told it was a yeast infection. I cleaned it out everyday with antibacterial soap, it then went away. So now a few months later its back but this time there is no discharge its not red or itchy and does not smell.
I can't fully understand what you're saying, but from what you've said this is the first time in a year you've had sex. If this is true, the movement would be gas and nothing more. I'm not sure why your belly button would be going in and out. I've never heard of that before. If you suspect pregnancy, take a test with first morning urine in about a week or so, but if you got a normal period after you had sex, I doubt you're pregnant.
I had a white discharge in my Belly Button that is a bit painful two weeks ago. I had this kind of scenario also last year. So I went to the doctor and ask for prescription medicine. The doctor gave me antibiotics and antibacterial ointment good for 5 days. My belly button stopped leaking discharge on the last day of my medication. It also grew back to its original smaller size and not that painful anymore.
I wish I had the tips from the post above. I have had a lot of pain with my pregnancy with a growing fibroid on super feed and like little to no drive. I also ended up around 24-30 weeks being super duper dry (which was a first ever for me). I do know it's all normal. My hubby has given oral which was better for me during the more uncomfortable times. Keep the lines of communication open with your partner and keep your dr/midwife involved in the knowledge of pain.
hi, im 13 and my belly button has really been bothering me. at first, it would just be wet inside (i have an innie) and it would smell a little. but now, it is itchy, a blackish-brown color, smells bad and produces a discharge that dries up and leaves a crust and has small bumps around it. can you please help me with this?
I personally think u should take it out , its gonna leave a ugly dark mark .
